Hi guys I read the previous posting nice. Now I'm gong to say something that might sound strange. If Rush gets away with carry drugs after his conviction of another drug charge this might be precedent for future cases and drug users. Now as for the blue pill being viagra well it has to be tested.
Now to the Boyz in the hood aka terrorist. I watched Jon Stewart's video it was funny. With all the spying and easdropping this is the best Gonzales can do. As for the use of the race card I don't think that will be necessary as black or white or green these guys are stupid and no card will help that. I wonder what the world thinks of our home grown terrorist who aren't muslin nor do they know anything about Bin Linden. Notice they had no plan, bombs, uniforms, shoes, guns or an army to take down the US. Only one of the 7 had been to Chicago. Now the real terrortist know just how dumb the US is on this so called war on terror. What country would follow the US lead when all they have to show is 7 bible talking wannabees who know nothing about terrorism.

Miss Jackie, it would be best if Rush was carrying drugs instead of messing with young girls (underage) in another country. He's a vile man, if you followed those links. A pedophile is a pedophile no matter what country you are in or how much you pay.

As for the race card, sometimes it is curious what shows up on our local news to "promote" the national news. I'm more worried about the racists getting all riled up about these kids in Florida. This country needs to stand together and not fight each other, especially at this time. BushCo. wants to divide the country, look how well it has worked since he has taken office.

Gerbil 101: Yearning for the bottle

George Bush, Alcoholic - Part 1
Posted by Patrick Moore
on Mon, Jun 26, 2006, 2:40 am PDT

"In 1999, responding to questions about his use of drugs and alcohol, George Bush told the Washington Post, "Well, I don’t think I had an addiction. You know it’s hard for me to say. I’ve had friends who were, you know, very addicted…and they required hitting bottom [to start] going to A.A. I don’t think that was my case." Having observed the president’s behavior in office, I wonder if he might be wrong. Perhaps not only the president, but also his administration, suffers from alcoholism. After all, arrogance and the inability to take responsibility for one’s actions, classic alcoholic traits, have become trademarks of the Bush presideny. George Bush’s problems are not only personal. By necessity, they have become the problems of our entire country. And our country is like the family of an alcoholic, devastated by the drinker’s actions but powerless to stop them."
Hmmm.

"Many will consider it a cheap insult to call the president an alcoholic. But recovering alcoholics, with steady doses of humility and rigorous honesty, can become extraordinary human beings. It is no insult to be an alcoholic. However, an alcoholic who simply controls his drinking, without taking the time to examine the many defects of character that fueled his destructive behavior, only grows more dangerous. There is a term for this unhappy creature - dry drunk…."

ST. LOUIS MAN CLAIMS RUSH LIMBAUGH AFFAIR

Dec. 8, 2002

A 46 year old music store owner from the St. Louis area, Elliot Sanders, is claiming that while a college student at Southeast Missouri University in 1971, he had an affair with Rush Limbaugh. Sanders claims that he and Limbaugh, the well known talk radio star, had an affair that went on for about 3 months in the fall of 1971...

Sanders stated that he met Limbaugh in a class he was taking, but it was only after meeting his sister, who was openly gay at that time, that he found out Rush himself was gay. "Rush was a charming man privately," says Sanders, "I met him in a class I was taking, and got on a first name basis with him. I didn't realize he was gay until his sister came to visit him. She was gay, and like, we hit it off, and she seemed shocked that I didn't know Rush was gay as well. When I found out I was like ... wow!"

The state audit also found evidence of $1.8 billion in improperly handled deposits and $3.5 billion in illegal loans.

JERUSALEM (AP) -- Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Wednesday that Israel wouldn't balk at "extreme action" to bring home a soldier captured by Palestinian militants.

The prime minister, who spoke after Israel launched a ground offensive into the Gaza Strip, said the incursion would continue in the coming days but that Israel did not intend to reoccupy the coastal strip.

"We have one objective, and that is to bring Gilat home," he said, referring to Cpl. Gilad Shalit.

Shalit, 19, was taken captive on Sunday in a Palestinian attack on a military post in southern Israel.

"We won't hestitate to carry out extreme action to bring Gilad back to his family," Olmert said at an awards ceremony at the prime minister's residence.

From CNN:

Democrats: No raises for Congress until minimum wage is increased

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A week after the GOP-led Senate rejected an increase to the minimum wage, Senate Democrats on Tuesday vowed to block pay raises for members of Congress until the minimum wage is increased.

"We're going to do anything it takes to stop the congressional pay raise this year, and we're not going to settle for this year alone," Democratic Leader Harry Reid of Nevada said at a Capitol news conference.

"They can play all the games the want," Reid said derisively of the Republicans who control the chamber. "They can deal with gay marriage, estate tax, flag burning, all these issues and avoid issues like the prices of gasoline, sending your kid to college. But we're going to do everything to stop the congressional pay raise."

The minimum wage is $5.15 an hour. Democrats want to raise it to $7.25. During the past nine years, as Democrats have tried unsuccessfully to increase the minimum wage, members of Congress have voted to give themselves pay raises -- technically "cost of living increases" -- totaling $31,600, or more than $15 an hour for a 40-hour week, 52 weeks a year, according to the Congressional Research Service."

"There have been public references to SWIFT before," said Roger Cressey, a senior White House counterterrorism official until 2003. "The White House is overreaching when they say [The New York Times committed] a crime against the war on terror. It has been in the public domain before."

Victor D. Comras , a former US diplomat who oversaw efforts at the United Nations to improve international measures to combat terror financing, said it was common knowledge that worldwide financial transactions were being closely monitored for links to terrorists. "A lot of people were aware that this was going on," said Comras, one of a half-dozen financial experts UN Secretary General Kofi Annan recruited for the task.

Senator considers suit over Bush law challenge
June 28, 2006

WASHINGTON -- The Senate Judiciary Committee chairman, Arlen Specter, said yesterday that he is ``seriously considering" filing legislation to give Congress legal standing to sue President Bush over his use of signing statements to reserve the right to bypass laws.

Specter, a Pennsylvania Republican, made his comments after a Judiciary Committee hearing on signing statements, which are official documents that Bush has used to challenge the constitutionality of more than 750 laws when signing legislation .

Bush has issued more signing statements than all previous presidents combined. But he has never vetoed a bill, depriving Congress of any chance to override his judgment. If Congress had the power to sue Bush, Specter said, the Supreme Court could determine whether the president's objections are valid under the Constitution.

xxxx xxxx

, Kansas 6

Dear xxxx,

Thank you for contacting me with your views on raising the
minimum wage. I appreciate hearing from you.

I am concerned that raising the minimum wage will have a
negative impact on those just entering the workforce. Study after
study has shown that raising the minimum wage rate does not
improve living standards or increase the spending power of
low-wage workers. In fact, mandating a higher minimum wage
will actually reduce job opportunities for minimum wage workers.
Ninety percent of economists surveyed by the American
Economics Association agreed that raising the minimum wage
increases unemployment among young and unskilled workers,
primarily teenagers and entry-level job seekers.

By creating an unwieldy burden on businesses, the increase
in wages will result in a reduced number of jobs. Therefore, a
wage hike may hurt the very people it is intended to help. For
these reasons, I oppose another increase in the minimum wage at
this time. However, I do support decreasing the tax burden for
those in lower tax brackets, effectively giving them more take
home pay.

It is important that I hear from you. Please feel free to
contact me again with comments or concerns on matters that are
important to you.

God Bless You,
?

I knew this was coming and I waited for someone else to write why the Miami 7 got so much attention, and here it is below. This is the first section of an article that is really long. Other groups are probably paranoid by now, wondering if they have an informant in their midst, and we all got a big laugh out of hearing about the Miami 7. Thanks FBI!! That was a two-for one deal!

"This report may be distributed or republished with attribution to Strategic Forecasting, Inc. at www.stratfor.com."

"The 'Miami Seven': Disrupting the Network
By Fred Burton

Recent reports about a homegrown terrorist cell -- now being referred to as the "Miami Seven," in reference to several arrests in Miami's Liberty City neighborhood on June 22 -- have excited considerable attention in the United States. The seven men arrested have been accused of plotting to bomb Chicago's 110-story Sears Tower and wage other attacks inside the United States, and federal agents say they were attempting to forge contacts with al Qaeda. Most of the arrests came after federal agents raided a warehouse that was used as a "temple" by an organization called the "Seas of David" -- a self-styled "Muslim group" that also appears to have incorporated bits and pieces of Christianity, freemasonry and Eastern mysticism into its beliefs and practices.

At first glance, the group's charismatic leader, Narseal Batiste, and his followers appear to be almost comical -- another example of apparently bumbling clowns or "Kramer jihadists." In a press conference, FBI Deputy Director John Pistole noted that the men were "more aspirational than operational," and media outlets were quick to focus upon the group's ineptitude, with a few referring to the suspects as "kooks." They were found out when one of the contacts they had made, in search of plugging in to al Qaeda, reported them to the FBI. And so unthreatening do they seem, in fact, that some commentators have speculated the arrests amounted to nothing more than a public relations stunt to prove that the FBI was doing something to combat terrorism.

There may indeed be cause for skepticism about statements made when the FBI, or any government law enforcement agency, for that matter, calls a press conference -- especially in light of the competition between agencies and histories of self-promotion. However, two things stand out when the Miami Seven case is examined in detail. One is that, even with its eccentricities, the Seas of David cell closely resembles a number of predecessor groups that have been involved in terrorist attacks and plots in the United States; perhaps the only missing link in this case was a bona fide connection to the international network of jihadists. The other is that, regardless of whether the Miami Seven cell is viewed as a serious threat or a troop of clowns, the bureau's highly public announcement of their arrests serves a genuine tactical purpose: It was, in a sense, an act of psychological warfare that could sow doubt and distrust in the minds of other potential terrorists."
