Final Posting for Thursday. This should be a topic of discussion for Friday. The topic is on the Gerbil's 21 century version of Big Brother is watching you.

1. The Gerbil stated that they are not mining or trolling the Americans in their privacy. Not!

Bank Data Secretly Reviewed by U.S. to Fight Terror

WASHINGTON, June 22 - Under a secret Bush administration program initiated weeks after the Sept. 11 attacks, counterterrorism officials have gained access to financial records from a vast international database and examined banking transactions involving thousands of Americans and others in the United States, according to government and industry officials.

2. The Gerbil is stripped away the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC):

Bush Administration Strangling EEOC—Workers’ Best Recourse Against Discrimination

"Workers across the nation are in danger of losing the federal agency charged with protecting employees and job applicants from workplace discrimination, union and civil rights activists say. Unless the Bush administration is stopped, it will strip the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to the bones and make it totally ineffective, according to AFGE, a union representing 600,000 federal employees. That’s why AFGE, along with the AFL-CIO and other union and civil rights organizations, launched a national campaign to save the agency.
The EEOC is being prevented from doing its job effectively by a lack of personnel and a reduced budget, says Andrea Brooks, AFGE’s vice president for women and fair practices. The agency already is suffering from a five-year hiring freeze and has lost 20 percent of its workforce through attrition. The agency also has a backlog of tens of thousands of cases, projected to reach 48,000 in fiscal year 2007. Yet, the Bush administration wants to cut its budget by $4 million next year.
To make matters worse, Brooks says, the Bush administration also is trying to weaken the agency’s ability to enforce anti-discrimination rules through a reorganization plan that takes away enforcement powers from local offices and reduces staff, rolling back the rights of federal workers by eliminating administrative trial rights and weakening access to the EEOC for the millions of workers covered by the nation’s civil rights laws."

RR, You got it. Did you know the lawyers who investigated and filed the initial paperwork questioning the vote were threatened with sanctions by the state of Oh? For QUESTIONING the results!

I hoped it would not go anywhere (it didn't, the court dismissed) but that scared the begeezers out of me. If they can try that with people who know their rights, what are they doing do folks who don't? Besides Gitmo, I mean here! As SPB said that should be topic for Fri-and an indictment or two would certainly help move the vote fraud case along.

RR- Let me know if you need contact with Ohio people working on this-you probably already know them.

Quiz Time:

I got a couple of questions about some stuff if ya don't mind...

1. How come the whole world is also fighting the war on Terror(Terra) and yet we're the only country in the whole world spending 400 billion on defense ?

btw: That's not including what's allocated for Iraq and Afghanstan...

2. What's that 400 Billion being used for ?

3. Is there a War we don't know about besides the Terror War and Drug War ?

4. If other countries like China, EU and Russia are also Fighting the Terror war then why are they not also contributing to the fight and if so then why are we the only Nation spending 400+ billion on Defense ?

5. Do Security Agencies such as Juliani's firm in NY make more money when Terror alerts are called in NY ?
Even phony practice ones ?

5a. Is Juliani's "type" firms getting Govt subsidies on top of his raised alert rates ?

6. If Defense also equals Spy agencies and Datamining then why is the US the only Nation that's spending that much on Defense ?

7. Is the United States Exclusive in the War on Terror ? England is our ally yet they are not spending as much as we are. Neither is India.

8. If Spy Agencies and Datamining is only being employed on this big a scale, which is bigger than the rest of the world does to their citizens, does that mean that we have the most Terrorists here in the United States than in the whole world ?

Btw: Last I checked most of those terrorist were out of the country.

9. Are we the policeman to the planet and if so why wasn't this announced on the evening news so that we would understand where our tax money goes to?

10. Why are we subsidizing Big Oil when Big Oil retirees have the benefit of getting 100s of million dollars ?

11. Why is Govt giving themselves raises when the rest of the American people is not afforded that same privaledge ?

12. If our Constitution is now trumped by the Patriot Act then why aren't the American people told that we're now in a Corporate Fascist state ?

That way we would know what to expect and we couldn't keep raising up that abandoned document in questioning our governments actions when those actions are contrary to what they took an oath to defend and protect.

IOW: The supreme law of the land is not so supreme any more...

Bonus Question: Why isn't the government telling the people that we're heading towards a North American Union, which will allow the Gerbil to be in Power over the United States, So when he leaves office in 2008 he'll head up the NAU and his laws will overrule even our new President mandates ?

______________

When you give me those answers then you can answer why we can't feed those who are hungry or homeless in America...

You can also answer why we our Minimum Wage remains at historic lows and yet inflation is growing worse and sending folks that are barely making it now, off the deep end into netherworld. Creating poverty and misery in perpetuity!

I think I have the answer to most of your questions. Remember Bush said we would go it alone and Halliburton wont give up any rights to the stolen Iraq oil. Bush is controlling the Iraq oil theyby no other country will join. As for the money well Bush said we would pay and Iraq wouldn't have to pay the US back.
As for all the other question that answer is the United States has been taken over by the axis of evil. Americans have fight to get the country away from the current dictator.

Jackie,

Why couldn't oil subsidies pay for that Iraqi Oil mess ?

Then we could take some of that 400 billion and invest in America again.

You know:

Feeding the Hungry,

Sheltering the Homeless,

R&D on New Energy Sources,

Better Roads,

Alternative Energy Infrasture
investment which will create
jobs and set us up to stop
depending on oil,

that stuff..

Yes we are in a Despotic State
and News Media should get the
brass cojones and demand
accountability on National
Television and then stick with
the story until we do.

I know it doesn't get ratings
but selling out your soul for a mid-evil idea like the NWO is not worth loosing your National Heritage for, which was not only hard fought by our forefathers, but is what we had to give to our children when it was their turn at bat.

At this point I see a third world nation that we're gonna leave to them and they will discover things that our great great grandfathers fought so hard to rise above on a daily basis..

Fer shame..

Mask of Sanity is a book title ever so relevant to the day and age, perhaps in any age. Whether we know it or not we are immersed in Cognitive Dissonance. At the same time the psychopath as revealed in the above book "Mask of Sanity," pervades corporations who neglect their social responsibilities. So government increasingly "privatized," is removing the social personality from our midst in key leadership positions.

It matters little that these people display an "amiable," mask. Their actions are evident among us. Many of us "go along to get along," and while wallowing under cognitive dissonance, end up voiding our hard bought notion of a conscience.

It may require hard intellectual work to restore your conscience. The work is even more difficult if you never had one.

In former times religions called it "repentance." Today's secular world may want to call it "forming an intellectual conscience," and implementing it. I hope people will view both these ideas and come to terms with the essence of it in the coming days. We deserve better people in public service, after all George Washington described his task as one of "continuous self improvement." That did not mean pillaging the treasury.

Quiz Time:

I got a couple of questions about some stuff if ya don't mind...

1. How come the whole world is also fighting the war on Terror(Terra) and yet we're the only country in the whole world spending 400 billion on defense ?

Because, our country runs too much on fear and not on careful, rational thinking. It is a knee-jerk reaction--the people making the money decisions are just throwing money at the terror problem, and, they have friends who are benefitting from it. I cannot be the only person who remembers those $100 screwdrivers from the 1980s, and I would bet that stuff is still going on today. We know Halliburton is overcharging for lots of things. And, no one wants to work on rebuilding Iraq because it is dangerous, so instead of paying civil engineers $60,000 a year, I know one guy who got offered $200,000 a year but he turned it down because he thought it was too dangerous. So, to get people over there, some of them are getting paid 4X the going rate of here.

btw: That's not including what's allocated for Iraq and Afghanstan...

2. What's that 400 Billion being used for ?

Well, those giant electronic survelliance projects--they are EXPENSIVE! They also bury analysists in TMI, which takes time and computer expenses to sift through. Other places (Canada for one) rely on sneaking in agents to infiltrate and/or finding people willing to be informants, which I believe are the best ways at doing spying and CT, not the electronic monitoring of millions of people. I believe the Miami homegrown wannabies just arrested got infiltrated. Using people instead of computers is also less expensive. I would imagine there is overcharging of all kinds of that equipment--someone should go look.

3. Is there a War we don't know about besides the Terror War and Drug War ?

Besides the turf war between all the intelligence agencies?

4. If other countries like China, EU and Russia are also Fighting the Terror war then why are they not also contributing to the fight and if so then why are we the only Nation spending 400+ billion on Defense ?

Russia is flat out freaking furious because they offered to help us in 2001 sometime in late September if we would help them with Chechnya. That is EXACTLY why we are having trouble with Iran. Who is Iran's buddy right now, giving them the new nuclear toys?? Russia does not have that much money to spend, though--their economy is still messy and until Putin started cracking down and throwing billionaires in jail, it was a free-for-all on massive 'business' theft.

Russia certainly has its hands full with the Caucasus. Their mini bin Laden, Shamil Basaev, is so freaking arrogant that he goes out 'inspecting' his followers, and Russia still can't get to him! There are basically two different opposition groups in Chechnya, Basaev's al Qaeda wannabies and a not-so-violent group. The Russians keep tagging the not-so-violent leaders (they just took out another president this week, the third one in a row killed), but they have not yet gotten to the upper leadership of Basaev's group.

6. If Defense also equals Spy agencies and Datamining then why is the US the only Nation that's spending that much on Defense ?

Too much emphasis on technology to solve problems, not enough good old-fashioned and cheap spying. See, with technology it can be done at a distance because we all know Americans cannot stomach people getting killed, but, I believe the techno-based spying is not as informative as the cheaper yet very dangerous type of human intelligence.

Now, I don't do survellience on drug dealers anymore, not in almost 10 years and I do not live in that place anymore, so it is safe for me to talk about it. In just a few months, I helped get information leading to at least a half dozen arrests, which I think is pretty good for someone who was not on anybody's payroll. The trouble was, at any time, any of those people could have figured it out and shot me. Now, it might have been safer to track those drug dealers based on their phone conversations but that just would not have been good as me being right there.

7. Is the United States Exclusive in the War on Terror ? England is our ally yet they are not spending as much as we are. Neither is India.

England is smaller geographically than us, plus, remember they dealt with the IRA for decades. They have decades more experience in CT, and how to manage the budget money for it, although the economy was horrible during Thatcher's era.

India, geez, how many people are getting killed in Kashmir almost *every day*? How about Punjab? India is having a heck of a time dealing with all that, and add indescribable poverty on a massive scale.

8. If Spy Agencies and Datamining is only being employed on this big a scale, which is bigger than the rest of the world does to their citizens, does that mean that we have the most Terrorists here in the United States than in the whole world ?

I think if you connect the dots with everything else I wrote, how we have politicians freaked out and throwing money at it without being judicious about it or people's rights, waste by greedy contractors, and the type of expensive intel that is being done, I think a lot of that is answered.

Btw: Last I checked most of those terrorist were out of the country.

9. Are we the policeman to the planet and if so why wasn't this announced on the evening news so that we would understand where our tax money goes to?

Isn't that what the New World Order means?

10. Why are we subsidizing Big Oil when Big Oil retirees have the benefit of getting 100s of million dollars ?

Because not enough Americans will get off their asses and do something about it. I cut back on my gas consumption a long time ago. I would also like to give all the anti-windmill power people in Illinois a kick in the ass. Geez, windmills look cool and the wind is FREE. Now that I would want in my backyard. ;-)

11. Why is Govt giving themselves raises when the rest of the American people is not afforded that same privaledge ?

'Fire' those folks in November.

12. If our Constitution is now trumped by the Patriot Act then why aren't the American people told that we're now in a Corporate Fascist state ?

Just enough Americans have the bejesus scared out of them with the whole terrorism thing. Check the polls--quite frequently the majority will say they are willing to give up their privacy rights in exchange for what they think is more safety.

Bonus Question: Why isn't the government telling the people that we're heading towards a North American Union, which will allow the Gerbil to be in Power over the United States, So when he leaves office in 2008 he'll head up the NAU and his laws will overrule even our new President mandates ?

Well, if the people knew, do you think they would like it? Now that one they will not like. Just spook all the NASCAR dads (and lots of other segments of the population) by telling them that the entire country of Mexico is going to take their jobs, right here, right where they live. Do that by including some wording in Spanish and French.

[Side note: I heard New Mexico (or was it Arizona?) wants voters to pick an official language, which they want as English. Hey, why the hell are Apache and Navajo not choices!!!?]

Bush said Iraq didn't have to pay the United States any money we will give them what they need and they don't have to pay us back. You see global evildoer fighter we have money to give away. No other country is giving a dime to Iraq. We've got money to burn in the United States. Look Rummy can't remember 30 billion dollars he signed a contract for so don't ask where's the money and the taxpayers are just buying the propaganda until the bill has to be paid for the loan Bush made to the Saudis. We will have a debt will be over 9 trillion dollars and then Americans will wake up but it will be to late.

Most of us here are aware of the many data breaches that WMR has logged at their web site.

I do not doubt that many of the data breaches may be inside jobs, but there are also many breaches that are successful because of the monumental imcompetence of our government agencies and their employees(this is not a slam on all govt. employees -- but for the ones where the shoe fits...)

Government Hit by Rash of Data Breaches

WASHINGTON (AP) - The government agency charged with fighting identity theft said Thursday it had lost two government laptops containing sensitive personal data, the latest in a series of breaches encompassing millions of people.

The Federal Trade Commission said it would provide free credit monitoring for 110 people targeted for investigation whose names, addresses, Social Security numbers - and in some instances, financial account numbers - were taken from an FTC attorney's locked car....

..."Basically these were attorneys who were going to file a lawsuit, and they had relevant evidence on their laptops," Winston said, noting that the FTC employees did not violate security procedures by storing the password-protected laptops in their cars.

"We will be reassessing what procedures we have to make sure reasonable measures are taken to protect data," he said.

Lots of things could happen to derail such a plan, especially if enough people are aware of the possibilities and joined in effecive action. And, (and I apologize for the gloom and doom), there could be some sudden economic development or natural catastrophe(s) that could derail all of our plans, theirs included. The Universe is a big, mysterious place. My belief is that the only power we have is the exercise of our ability to choose as wisely as we can in the moment.

I'm interested in signing up for the registry. I was wondering what others thought of Bev Harris and this organization.

I have a technology background so I do know how unreliable software can be (secuirty holes, etc.) and how easy it is to manipulate and hide inconsistencies from the public.

Cheney May Testify

WASHINGTON (AP) - Vice President Dick Cheney said Thursday he might have to testify in the CIA leak trial of his former chief of staff.

Cheney made the comment in a CNN interview, following last month's suggestion by prosecutors that the vice president would be a logical witness in the case of I. Lewis Libby, who is accused of perjury, obstruction and lying to the FBI.

Libby is "one of the finest men I've ever known," Cheney said, then declined further comment. "I may be called as a witness."

2) There was no evidence that they had purchased any weapon or explosives

I just read your comments about the blackboxvoting.org website and the hand count registry. I think that is a good idea for people to get involved to this since you you said not to allow history to repeat itself. I did hear that the state of California have available a hard copy of what the person voted as well as electronic vote. I guess that state is taking any necessary action prevent voting fraud. If the other states haven't adapted the state of California's method, then the hand count would be great. I will go back to the website to read omre on it. Thanks for sharing that website and your participation.. And I did hear about the plot to bomb Sears Tower in Chicago. I think that that was political..

Global evildoer fighter:

You were sure all over the blog last night my friend. I just read your 100,000 questions..

Question 1-11 can be answered simply.. Before the Gerbil crawled into the WH and stole 5 years of the Presidency, King Gerbil, Daddy Bush, and others created a blueprint plan to get the Gerbil into the oval office and make sure Al Gore didn't win the Presidency in 2000. There were key players, politicans, journalists, officials, corporations, lobbyists, etc. that were given special favors politically and financially to lock arms for profit in the Gerbil presidency. When the Gerbil got in, that plans were in action, the Gerbil was never the President but only on paper. The real President was the businessman, Cheney! And their agenda was plain and simple oil and profit. Unical, Halliburton, Carlyle Group, the Saudias etc. were all involved in this deal. And their target was Iraq from the get go. Now, the Gerbil's polls were plummeting in his first 9 months in his Presidency. That is why he went on vacation in the first 8 months in office 42% to get away from that oval office. He had to find a way to gain the public confidence and invade in Iraq. And 9/11 did it for him. This poll number went to 90%, he was labeled the commander-in-chief, and people were lookingto him as hope. The Gerbil programmed and reprogrammed the American people about never forgetting 9/11 and living in fear over and over again. And when he had us under his spell for the fitst term and not the second term, he robbed us dry and used the Robin Hodd strategy. You keep asking about the spending on the war and the wasting money on the war and other things in this country. The money to him is like monopoly money and agendas that he comes up with are like hobbys and pet project. The more he spends the more bankrupt this country gets. And many of the Congress and Senate are acting like indenture servants to the Gerbil He got his profits and his friends so why should they care. Get the picture.

As cynical that I may sound, if people would just wake up and get off their butts and take back this country and dethrone the Gerbil and vote in November, just maybe this country can turn around and give the dead soldiers the common decency of respect that they deserve. We cannot turn back the time nor bring back the dead soldiers. But we can put an end to another soldier dying in the hands of the Gerbil by voting in November. As the Amy the 15 year old said in her video: how many more soldiers have to die for people to wake up?

And you bonus question? Well, the Gerbil is trying to leave the mess in Iraq, the deficit, the changed laws, and unpaid debt to other countries, to the next President and try to wash his hands clean.. And so he think that will happen? I don't think so! His lies will catch up to him and seal his fate.

Stephen,

I agree with you. But, the buffoon Lieberman played two side of the coins with both parties. When he ran for Vice Presidency with Gore, he was embraced by the public now is disgraced by the same Democrats. People couldn't figure it out why Lieberman is butt kissing to the Gerbil and especially to supporting the war in Iraq. When people find out the buffoon was involved in the Enron, people will see him as a sellout!

And you said about the Democrats needing progressiveness, the Democrats are just as divided as the GOP. And amnyo f the Democrats need to have the steong backbone like Murtha and Feingold to not be afraid to speak their mind especially to the Gerbil. Too many of them are like turtles. They go bakc into their shell when the Gerbil frisbees out another pet project that he comes up with. That is what is frustrating to hear. And there are some GOP that are not part of the corruption that are speaking out too. But, the ones that neither parties are focusing on and that is the Independents.. But, it is the tine to put their money where their mouth is. And Coulter's endorsement for Lieberman will backfire.. I just find it funny to have a mentally unstabled woman to endorse the buffoon. And Stephen, people like Coulter will self destruct on her own. That is why I look at her as simply a sad case whereas Chimpcoulter looks at Raggedy Ann in a different light: horseface!

SPRINGSTEEN: Yeah, they should let Ann Coulter do it instead.
O’BRIEN: There is a whole school of thought, as you well know, that says that musicians – I mean you see it with the Dixie Chicks - you know, go play your music and stop.
SPRINGSTEEN: Well, if you turn it on, present company included, the idiots rambling on on cable television on any given night of the week, and you’re saying that musicians shouldn’t speak up? It’s insane. It’s funny.

2. Another cabinet member bails out on the Gerbil. And this Snowjob's response. Really tacky. From thinkprogress:

Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta,
the only Democrat in President Bush’s cabinet, has resigned. Asked why Mineta resigned, White House Press Secretary Tony Snow said: “Because he wanted to.”

And there you go!

Good eve everybody,

you really seem to have an election problem over there. Well the UN has this program, they send their people to oversee that elections are being carried out fair and by the book...

Now actually that program is for 3rd world countries and NOT the US because it was designed to keep an eye on

A) lawless countries that have been B) plagued by ruthless politians
C) have instable democracies
C) where opposition is supressed
D) the Free Press is being censored
D) and all citizens are being spied on and mislead by their leaders...

Ups...??? doesn't that sound like a match??

Me again,

Anyone heard the news that your goverment is snooping out thousands of bank accounts? Just watched it on the Evening News and found the article
NY TIMES

WASHINGTON, June 22 — Under a secret Bush administration program initiated weeks after the Sept. 11 attacks, counterterrorism officials have gained access to financial records from a vast international database and examined banking transactions involving thousands of Americans and others in the United States, according to government and industry officials.

Folks,

Here are more information on that developing story from Raw Story:

Senate Democratic committee to hold oversight hearing on Iraq pre-war intelligence
John Byrne and Ron Brynaert

Downing Street Memo reporter to join Democrats

"The Senate Democratic Policy Committee (DPC) will be holding a special oversight hearing on pre-war intelligence relating to Iraq Monday, RAW STORY has learned."

And this is an interesting observation about Shug:

"In the documentary, Lawrence Wilkerson, former Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell blasted former National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice for letting ambition cloud her judgment."
"We had a one-word description of the National Security Council...and that one word was 'dysfunctional,'" said Wilkerson."

"How could a woman as competent as Dr. Rice seemed to be — indeed, Secretary Powell had told me she was a sort of a protégé of his — [head up an organization that] could be so dysfunctional?" asked Wilkerson. "I'd say simply she had her eye on the prize, and the prize was a Cabinet position — and a particular Cabinet position, secretary of state — and as national security adviser, one works one's ambitions to achieve that position."

"Former CIA analyst, Paul Pillar, authored the "white paper," which publicly assessed the prewar weapons programs of Iraq now "regrets" his involvement."

Full list of witnesses as listed on the DPC press release:

Lawrence Wilkerson, Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell, 2001-2005

Paul Pillar, CIA official responsible for coordinating intelligence on Iraq, 2000-2005

Carl Ford, Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence and Research, 2001-2003

Wayne White, State Department principal Iraq analyst, 2003-2005

Rod Barton, Senior Advisor to the Iraq Survey Group, 2003-2004

Michael Smith, reporter for the Sunday Times of London, and the first to report the existence of the so-called "Downing Street Memo"

Joseph Cirincione, co-author of WMD in Iraq: Evidence and Implications

HillaryNow.com is an online group that supports the running of former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton in the 2008 presidential election.

Ellie Stevenson of Hendersonville, a member of the group, said protesters will gather peacefully because they feel Gore is the only person who could block Clinton’s nomination in the 2008 election.

Stevenson also said many protestors are upset because of the war in Iraq.

“If (Gore) had stood his ground in 2002, America would not be in the mess we’re in now,” Stevenson said.

However, protestors are not protesting against the movie, "An Inconvenient Truth," which opens today.

“I completely support cleaning the environment,” Stevenson said. “We think he’s a great person in trying to protect the environment, we just feel he’s not the best Democratic candidate.”

************

Gore never said he's running yet, did he? And Hillary needs to fess up to her own deeds as does the rest of the Bush/Clinton crime family.

"Children's Defense Fund" aka "No Child Left Behind" ???

1. the 400 billion doesn't go to "defense" it goes to padding the bill so all included can have their cut of taxpayer money, example why a toilet seat can be purchased by say Nasa for 3,000? The head of purchasing has "connections" or he bribes others working underneathe him to pad the bid, if you pad the bid - ignoring a law, or paying off those who are involved- guess who? Politicians. So I'm a toilet seat distributor who wants to contribute to joe shmoe in congress, I meet with him, does he play ball? Usually. Then I go to the head of purchasing- "joe Schmoe" said go ahead-he needs the money and cut in whoever takes care of purchasing" meaning cutsy of money up the chain of command for purchasing.
2. some of the 400 billion is used for purchasing and contracting - the rest is for individual profit
3. yes there is an enourmous war besides what you see. this is so depressing and it's late- basically if they look at the international banking records- honestly, everyone would know the truth- which can't happen- then whether you start low on the chain of command like take head of purchasing at a hospital, and the bribes they make- you can see the entire picture- it's the same scam- just either state/federal/DOA purchasing- they all have their own agendas- and tax payer money gets "dilluted". A 16 year long history of it.
4. All those countries do pretty much the same and their are always mafia mafya or what have you that want their share.
5. You don't know this answer? I can't believe you don't know this. Yes. So much money. Bush's ratings go down throw a terror alert with a little persuasive financing.
5a. Yes, if they hire female and minority owned businesss. Subcontracting it's called. But if you weren't "chosen" as the awarded bidder (all bids for work are rigged)
6. they are out buying ammunition for wars- just like our congressmen do
7. on my last trip to London- there is terror on the streets- it's so easy to immigrate- I was investigating possible terrorist funding going thru Barclays Bank -the constable said to me I quote "What gives you the right to come over here and... I'm terminating this call immediately." click
scotland yard was so un organized -no GPS tracking system. If I wanted to "get them" I would have had to stay another week and contact my cousin in the Airforce UK base- but I knew he wouldn't jeopardize his rank to go "covert"
and I was running out of money

I have to go to bed now
