Hmmm, the Doolittles... All in the family... From TPMmuckraker:

How do the Doolittles bag easy money? Let us count the ways.

"-- As revealed in the report yesterday, Jack Abramoff paid Julie Doolittle $66,000 for work from August 2002 to March 2004. Most of that work was for planning a fundraiser for Abramoff's Capital Athletic Foundation, the Spy Game Gala that was to be MC'ed by Tony Snow. The event never came off because it coincided with the launching of the Iraq War in March, 2003.
But why, you ask, did Julie Doolittle remain on the payroll for almost a year after the event was cancelled? She also did some work for Abramoff's restaurant Signatures, but according to her attorney, she "primarily performed public relations and other event planning services for the Spy Museum event." So what was all that money for?
As revealed yesterday, Doolittle was indirectly paid by Abramoff's client the Agua Caliente tribe of California, an arrangement she apparently didn't know about.
-- At the same time that Julie Doolittle was working for Abramoff, she was working for Abramoff's corrupt lobbying pal Ed Buckham, doing bookkeeping for his nonprofit U.S. Korea-Exchange Council. She was there -- actually keeping an office in Buckham's lobbying firm, Alexander Strategy Group -- as early as 2002 until as late as May of 2005 (Roll Call, 3/21/05). It's not yet known how much she took home from that."

And what is the Alexander Strategy Group?

The Alexander Strategy Group was a lobbying firm staffed with a number of former aides to Rep. Tom DeLay (R-TX), and known for its access to the once powerful Majority Leader. The flagship enterprise of DeLay's Democrat-purging K Street Project, Alexander Strategy Group (ASG) was the gatekeeper to DeLay for moneyed clients.

the firm was a front to funnel money to the Hammer!

An Open Letter to the Agents of the Crown
BY:richardlevinson@charter.net
PUBLISHED ON: 2006-06-24

An Open Letter to BAR Attorneys (with apologies to Patrick J. Fitzgerald, an American hero, and none to the arrogant Edgar Steele, an admitted member of 13 BAR associations, and who lost the cases he keeps bragging about)

We the People are getting mighty educated these days. We tracked down the original 13th Amendment to the Constitution - you know, the one you started the War of 1812 over so you could burn the copies - and it says you Esquires are not allowed to have a title of nobility AND hold public office in America. Up until now, you have been getting away with it.

We learned that the BAR originates in the Crown Temple in London, England. Therefore, your oath to the BAR means you are not Americans anymore but agents for a foreign power. You have no citizenship. You claim to have licenses to practice law. As a matter of fact there is no such thing as a license to practice law. We searched in the statutes, codes, rules and regulations for every state and also their respective secretaries of state and supreme courts. No authorization for the "license to practice law" exists anywhere. That means every one of you is unauthorized and illegal in the Republic. JOHN HENRY DOE, ESQUIRE is a fiction that exists only on paper.

What you do have is a BAR card that simply authorizes you to use the statutes, codes, rules and regulations, which are all copyrighted. We can't help but notice that all of the law you use is copyrighted, so the People can't use it without using you. People, how well are you doing with these copyrighted statutes?

It wasn't easy since you have us hanging upside down looking in the mirror trying to read the newspaper, but we figured out that statutes, codes, rules and regulations are not law but abrogations of the law. Abrogate means "to abolish by authoritative action: ANNUL". Applying the force of deadly violence, you annulled the real Law and replaced it with color of law. Color of law is a false flag, a pirate flag. You're all a bunch of actors. No license, and no law, either.

We counted the number of statutes, codes, rules and regulations that you created, with the intelligence endowed by your Creator, to use against us. There are many more than 60 million statutes, codes, rules and regulations, certainly more than all of you BAR attorneys put together can keep track of without plenty of software, quarterly updates, and teams of legal researchers - and, voila! You have billing!

You write statutes, codes, rules and regulations at the behest of the putrefyingly corrupt Chosen Masters, the ancient hate-driven cult within a hate-driven racist sect that are the tiresome take-over-the-world crowd and the blueprint for criminality. The beasts of this world have more honor than you. You herd the People you have defrauded into the system of the Matrix like so much cattle, to be processed, robbed of their freedom, families and property, experimented upon with drug sorcery, and all too often killed.

You do this because the BAR Association is a hate-driven money cult. Your masters reward you with obscene hourly rates for the building of your personal empires. You are so far gone from the sight of God that you think you have the authority to write rules to justify torturing your fellow beings. You have much blood on your hands.

And your "noble cause" is what? Why, the U.S. bankruptcy is your noble cause, your reason for destroying millions of lives minute by minute. The U.S. bankruptcy is George W. Bush's noble cause, Cindy. Claiming the authority to enact and enforce new "bankruptcy laws" (statutes) that create debtor's prisons for the People, who since 1933 have had no money to pay a debt with, the U.S. corporation is itself bankrupt and has made us into the surety for the debt.

In fact all so-called governing bodies in the U.S. are bankrupt corporations telescoping from one to the other, back and forth between federal-state-county-municipal, due to the Federal Project of Credit. The SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is a bankrupt corporation and does not exist. Your law firm is bankrupt. There is no money. We have no law because we have no money.

Whether or whether not you BAR attorneys swore a secret oath to administer the U.S. bankruptcy, the bankruptcy is in each and every letter you send, every form you submit, every court pleading you file, every plea bargain you negotiate. It is a fact of your every professional thought, besides billing. "Law" has nothing to do with it.

At this point you attorneys have made your true function patently obvious. "Attorning" means to take all of the property of the People and give it to the Chosen Masters. Well, your masters' day is over. Oh, it may seem that they are consolidating their control of all the Earth, therefore assuring your positions as their agents for profit and mayhem; but always profit; but we continue to expose the Chosen Masters in this forum and many others, and we are getting quite ready to jam their signals, crash their programs and round them up. Guess where we are going to put the Chosen Masters!

You are being destroyed by leaks from within. From the 13 European families of banking perversion to the Everytown, USA municipal traffic court judge (who would not be caught dead retiring with less than $30 million of the People's money) and all the Satanist racketeering extortionist blackmailing pedophile warmongering purveyors of human flesh in between, the Chosen Masters are finished.

Some of you attorneys may be hearing the jungle drums and growing uneasy, but most of you are 100% in your ego at all times and proud of being arrogant. Your arrogance may interfere with your understanding of this message, but check it out, because now it is your turn to "understand" something. The jig is up. The truth herein is ugly, but we believe Americans are very angry about the truth to date and that they are ready to hear more. Many will even act on it according to their conscience.

Just when we thought your deeds could not possibly get more hideous, we discovered that you create commercial paper for each inmate in prison and put a price on him and hypothecate that price many times. Correctional Corporation of America (Nashville, Tennessee) creates the bonds, and Lehman Brothers underwrites those bonds for being bought and sold on the world financial markets. The Chosen Masters cut you in on the deals and you all take profits from this. We are enraged to know that U.S. corporations are being funded by our brothers and sisters who were busted for pot or for not having a current drivers license. You BAR attorneys created crimes out of nothing and wrote the rules for this heinous and sickening theft of the People's energy, all for administering the U.S. bankruptcy and your own unjust enrichment. We the People, the ones in whom the power is truly vested, are putting an end to your trafficking in human flesh and spirit.

We used to have common law courts in this country. In common law, unless a living being has been injured or property loss has occurred, there has been no crime. We also found out that you BAR attorneys raised the level of the Sea on paper so that it "covers" the land, thereby fraudulently subjecting us to admiralty/maritime law, to the Law of the Sea, to piracy. A cop pulling us over is an act of piracy. It is a kidnapping. That's a pirate flag he's flying, so cops reading this take heed, for the Chosen Masters put you where the rubber meets the road. Get this through your heads now: codes do not apply to the People, only to the corporation for which they were written, and that means you, and it means you are nothing more than corporate thugs. Some of you became cops in order to get respect. But we have been giving you not respect but fear, and people can overcome their fears. We have a God-given right to defend ourselves and our property. Just keep it up, and the survivors of you cops will yourselves become defendants.

The Chosen Masters have decreed that there are too many of us, so you BAR attorneys make it "legal" on paper for vile toadies of the Chosen Masters to poison us and the entire Earth through the food, air, water, and land, and when we sicken, to force dangerous drugs upon us, and when we die, our former employers receive death benefits$$$$$$ on secret, illegal life insurance policies on us, unjustly enriching a variety of corporations so that the Chosen Masters may take profits. You (and the cops) will answer to the People in the lawful courts we establish and you must answer to your families, friends, neighbors and all whom you sold out and sold. Just about everyone - except Freemasons of course - has been to traffic court nowadays. What did you think was going to happen?

You BAR attorneys are the original back-door men, the ones in the back room, failing to adjust the accounts. You never pay your bills. Once you take a case you are the holder of the account for the case. This means, under Public Law 73-10 wherein all crimes are commercial crimes, and under Public Policy, that you must adjust the account to offset the liability for closure and settlement. You always fail to make the ledger entry - there is NO money and the People are exempt from levy - so you attorneys never pay your bills. You impose the charges upon us and put us in prison instead.

You get paid whether you "win" your case or not, and the judicial system enforces the payment of your fees. This is conclusive proof of the criminality inherent in the U.S. judicial system. What else is a criminal but someone in possession of a valuable commodity - human energy - that was acquired without exchanging something else of value for it?

Well, it is painfully obvious to the People that those are not our courts and we will never get justice in them. We are going to do away with them and you. Don't look now, but persons in positions of authority are going to seize the reins. Even now we are turning the tide for a permanent return to a constitutional form of government. The People will no longer tolerate the lies, the corruption and death that are your daily bread.

You BAR attorneys are all drunkards drunk on debt, chasing Federal Reserve Notes which are debt notes and debt (death). You have made it illegal for the People to get out of debt! You put every man, woman and child under the probate statutes and made us into corporate fictions so you could create life-destroying industries such as taxation and the judicial system. You attorneys are harming the entire world, and you cannot make it more clear that you are anti-Life. Through trickery and the deceitful use of language, you would reduce our lives to nothing more than a series of commercial transactions. We who now must pursue such life-diminishing goals as "getting out of debt" or "making the rent" or "paying the bills" - we demand that the BAR stand down and stand aside, now, and make way for the true Law. For starters, the People are exempt from levy. In common law there are only two laws: do not harm another living being, and honor all of your contracts. But then there is really only one Law: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Speaking of "personal debt", we learned from our research that the People, the living men and women of this land and all the lands, are the source of all pretend money; i.e., "credit"; i.e., "commercial credit". So-called credit does not exist until We create it. We living Beings of Light are the source of all the energy that is expressed as "credit". Thus, the People can never be debtors, and you attorneys have slandered our names in your collection letters. We will make claims against you for the slander of your deceit, so EXPERIAN, TRANS UNION, EQUIFAX, take note. Your BAR attorneys will not be able to save you. EXPERIAN, TRANS UNION and EQUIFAX are bankrupt corporations. Yes, People?, in this the Bizarro world the credit reporting agencies are insolvent.

We recently heard that the authorities will start to confiscate our gold fillings and gold teeth. (This is for paying interest on the U.S. bankruptcy, folks.) Attention municipal, county, state, federal, United Nations Chosen Masters/Powers in Charge: We will not tolerate it. We denounce your obscenely unjust and unlawful codes and refuse to obey them. We hereby declare your illegal statutes, codes, rules and regulations to be null and void and of no further effect. You can take my drivers license and shove it!

You are parasites. You create no value. You bring nothing to the table. All of the invisible so-called contracts by which you think you have us in a chokehold are null and void for lack of consideration, lack of full disclosure, for threats, duress and coercion in the formation of the contracts, and for being unconscionable. You ain't got nothin'!

We the People demand forgiveness of all the debt. We demand the restoration of money of substance, backed by gold and silver. We demand our money back for all the illegal income tax on our labor that you converted (stole and gave to a foreign corporation; i.e., the Federal Reserve's collection agency INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE - also a bankrupt corporation). We demand the return of all the money you defrauded us out of for your cash cow Social Security Ponzi scheme. We demand our money back for all of those bull##### illegal parking tickets and illegal court cases. Inasmuch as those funds are collected by corporate thugs and therefore illegal, the funds cannot be added to municipal budget so therefore the People's property goes straight into the judge's retirement fund. We demand that you make reparations to us for having defrauded and enslaved us.

We demand the immediate stand-down of INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE. Further, once INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE has returned to us every penny plus interest, we demand the permanent abolishment of INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE. Then we shall sue our corporate employers for theft (Form W-4 and wage levies).

We learned that our real government is in the county. In the Republic, where all of our rights are intact, our highest elected official is the county sheriff. We will restore lawful government first at home, in our counties. Generals and Provost Marshals, duty calls like never before, and we are taking names. Do your duty and put the county sheriffs under arrest, or we will!

We will open the prison doors and send home everyone busted for pot and every other innocent victim of your unlawful codes. They will go home with all of their property restored to them plus reparations and public apologies. A goodly portion of those reparations will come from your pocket, Mr. BAR Attorney. We will return back to the prisons all of the real criminals routinely set loose into our communities by the pedophilic treasonous "authorities", and many, many of you BAR attorneys will join them for your crimes.

Judges merit a special note. Municipal traffic court, bankruptcy court, probate court, federal court, makes no difference, you are the most venal and rapacious type of creature imaginable. We have awakened to the real state of affairs: that we live in the Bizarro world. Thus it should come as no surprise that the man in the black dress, supposedly learned in the "law", is in reality an extortionist, a career criminal, the most unlawful creature on Earth. The judge's bench ("bank") is a moveable feast, his black robes highly appropriate for a bird of carrion.

You are all in breach of the Covenant, in breach of the Trust, in breach of the Contract. In your souls and in commerce, you are in dishonor. Your rights are forfeit and your property is forfeit - trust or no trust.

We the People who are Beings of Light are taking responsibility and taking over. We are creating a world without parasites. Even as you read this we are ... phasing you out. You cannot turn back this tide.

Members of the BAR, here are your choices: Come into the Light, or go into the Light. You very dark ones face uncreation or the Hell planet. You will not be missed.

By: We Oppose Deception

P.S. for the People: BAR Attorneys passed a very sneaky law in 1980 that says they represent both sides in a case! But it is a felony for an attorney to take money from someone he does not represent. So if an attorney bothers you, tell him he's fired! Enjoy!

Folks,

More on the Homeboy Terrorists:

From Talking Points Memo:

IT'S GOOD NEWS whenever we roll up anyone who aspires to become a terrorist whacko. But even if Al Gonzales won't 'fess up, I'm sure the FBI special agents working this case must have realized this was the stupidest group of would be terrorists they're likely to come upon.

From the DOJ release ...

"In addition to conducting surveillance, the defendants allegedly provided the individual, whom they believed was an al Qaeda member, with a list of materials and equipment needed to wage jihad, including boots, uniforms, machine guns, radios and vehicles."

Boots and uniforms? Terrorist uniforms?

Here's the indictment.
And check out their names! LMAO!

Lenny Berkowitz "alias The Terrorist"

They're going beyond laughable..

But with the sheeple all hypnotised out there it doesn't matter if you call them all Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory....

They'll believe it all! ;)

"Would you donate a $100,000 for a date with the Gerbil or Porkrind???"

Good question, SPB. After careful thought...

I would donate $100,000 if Shug would run off with Shrub to Pakistan to cohabitate with Osama bin Laden and carry on with their threesome...

I would donate $100,000 for Jeff Gannon to pick up his girlfriend, Porkrind and take him to Pakistan for a meetup with Dumbya & Condi...

If given $100,000, I might go over to George Clooney's house and fix his computer...but don't tell my wonderful husband because I really love him.

Final two postings:

This is an interesting article about Porkrind:

"But against that undercurrent of tension, how ironic that I just read this story from last week (via TPMmuck) that revealed that Katharine Armstrong, the adjunct Vice Presidential spokesperson for shooting accidents and a real "Where's Waldo" of planning illegal wars, bought Rove a hunting gun last year.
Katharine Armstrong, the owner of the South Texas ranch where Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shot a hunting companion, chipped in on the gift of a gun for presidential aide Karl Rove last year.
Specifically, a Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon II, a handsome 20-gauge hunting rifle worth $2,073 that she and 10 other friends gave the senior adviser and deputy chief of staff to President Bush, according to financial disclosure forms released Friday for top White House aides.
Rove would have received the gun before Dick's little accident, so Armstrong can't have bought it for Rove's self-protection. And Rove wasn't at the Ranch that weekend, so he wouldn't have needed it during Dick's bout of wild shooting. But if I were Dick, I'd make sure I alternated trips with Rove when I went down to the Armstrong Ranch."

The Democrats' bitter harvest
by Klaus Rohrich
Sunday, June 25, 2006

Last week I heard a sound bite of Dennis Kucinich ranting about America’s "illegal occupation" of Iraq and it dawned on me that the Democrats have fully and wholeheartedly adopted an agenda that embraces the destruction of America. I arrived at this conclusion not specifically because of what Kucinich said, but because the Democrats appear to have lost all sense of perspective when it comes to current world realities.

"No war for oil" and "Bush lied; people died" are snappy short slogans that are essentially meaningless. The bottom line is the Democratic Party hasn’t had a new or original idea in nearly 40 years and that’s why they will remain in the wilderness, no matter how low Bush’s ratings fall.

The Democrats appear to be relying on events over which they have little or no control to transpire and bring them back into power. Recently Chuck (the Rat) Schumer had a hemorrhage on the Senate floor because Karl Rove wasn’t indicted along with Scooter Libby in the Valerie Plame affair. He demanded that there be a Senate investigation into why Rove wasn’t indicted when he, as well as all the other Democrats were sure Rove was guilty. Surely, Schumer must have thought, Patrick Fitzgerald is on the take. Why else would he have Rove testify before the grand jury and then choose not to indict him? Why Schumer thought he had the power to call for a Senate investigation is anyone’s guess, as the Senate has no oversight power over a Grand Jury investigation or independent prosecutors charged with investigating allegations of criminal behavior.

Whenever good news comes out of Iraq, such as it did recently with the death of Abu Musab-al Zarqawi, the Democrats go into a tailspin of wailing and teeth gnashing that rivals even the most virulent lamentations emanating from Dante’s ninth circle of hell. Democratic Senators such as John Kerry (and Congressmen like the Above-mentioned Kucinich as well as Jack Murtha) insist that they don’t care if we are winning in Iraq; we need to get out as soon as humanly possible.

Then there’s the stand-up shtick many Democrats do about the GOP’s "culture of corruption" hoping that they can convince voters all Republicans are crooks. Only problem the Democrats have is that their ranks include people like Ted Kennedy, captain of the Chappaquiddick swim team and Congressman William Jefferson, (D) Louisiana, who attempted to engage the assistance of rescue officials in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina to salvage a suitcase filled with cash whose origins the FBI is currently wondering about. I think there are some parables about people who live in glass houses or pots calling kettles greasy the Democrats may be well advised to reacquaint themselves with. After all, the stink of corruption has sullied both parties and in many cases the Dems more seriously than the Republicans.

The Democrats seem to rejoice at news that the economy is slipping or that over 2,500 American soldiers have laid down their lives in Iraq and they positively hyperventilate at polls that show the President’s popularity is in single digits. What they don’t seem to understand is that the bad news for America or the President is not necessarily good news for them. George W. Bush’s unpopularity does not automatically translate itself into a Democratic boost at the polls.

The only Democrat who appears to understand that the party is in the hara-kiri mode is Hillary Clinton, whose fluidity is making her ever more unpopular among voters. Those on the left of the Democratic Party, i.e. their mainstream, see Hillary as a sell-out with all her talk of moderation, supporting the troops and being in favor of national security. Those in the rest of the country see a woman desperately attempting to hold on to the possibility of achieving the Presidency by changing her position to suit popular opinion.

If you think back to all the Presidents over the past 50 years who were Democrats, only two stand out as having left a positive legacy, John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. Kennedy’s legacy was more one of form rather than substance, as his administration evoked shades of Camelot, the once and future kingdom. Johnson, on the other hand, initiated The Great Society, which Democrats are lauding as a major achievement to this day. The other two Democratic Presidents were absolute duds. We can thank God that Jimmy Carter was voted out of office before he could complete his plan to turn America into a third-world swamp water and Bill Clinton, hey, he’s Bill Clinton and so long as he had enough interns to satisfy his ravenous appetites, the country could run itself.

What the Democratic Party in America needs is a NEW IDEA, a subtlety that seems to be lost on the likes of Patrick Leahy and Nancy Pelosi and most other Democratic luminaries. So long as the Dems continue attempting to gain political advantage from America’s misfortunes and so long as they continue to entertain the kooky ideas of their lunatic fringe leadership, the Dems will continue to reap the bitterest of harvests.

Media Owe Rove an Apology…or at Least a Few Hugs
Written by Noel Sheppard
Tuesday, June 20, 2006

In America, people are innocent until proven guilty, unless of course they are Republican.

Potentially no finer example of such legal relativism has occurred in recent memory than in the case of President Bush’s top advisor, Karl Rove. For months, virtually every mainstream media outlet proclaimed his guilt regarding the Valerie Plame Wilson affair, or what has been not so affectionately named the CIA-leak case.

For example, take the media’s excitement over pending indictments for Rove. This hit a fevered pitch last fall as special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, after almost two years of research, depositions, and grand jury testimonies, was about to announce his findings on October 28.

Sadly for the drive-by media, no indictments were handed down that day for Rove.

As a result, restaurateurs and bar owners around the country were likely forced to give back millions of dollars in deposits for all the “Rove is Going to Jail” parties that ended up being cancelled by disappointed Democrats coast to coast.

However, hope--which some ironically claim springs eternal--reemerged in late April when Rove appeared in front of a grand jury for the fifth time to answer more of Fitzgerald’s questions. This re-ignited a media firestorm of enthusiasm over the ominous portent for such a visit, raising the possibility that Rove was once again in the prosecutor’s crosshairs, and that indictments were imminent.

Giddy Democrats around the country were again making party plans. One can only hope that restaurant and bar managers learned from their previous mistakes, and this time required deposits that were nonrefundable, for as reported (go here) by Byron York of the National Review, Rove’s attorney Robert Luskin released a statement on Tuesday indicating that there would be no joy in Demville tonight:

“On June 12, 2006, Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald formally advised us that he does not anticipate seeking charges against Karl Rove.

”In deference to the pending case, we will not make any further public statements about the subject matter of the investigation. We believe that the Special Counsel’s decision should put an end to the baseless speculation about Mr. Rove’s conduct.”

Imagine all the wasted confetti and cocktail wieners sitting unused in Democrat warehouses all around the country. This must be especially disheartening coming only days after the killing of al Qaeda leader Abu Musab al Zarqawi.

Yet, before we shed a tear for the grief that liberals in America must be feeling, shouldn’t we instead be demanding a huge apology--if not at least a couple of hugs--from the drive-by media for their innocent victim?

Certainly, the first of such apologies should come from MSNBC, as no network focused more attention on the possibility of Rove being indicted since he was last questioned by Fitzgerald on April 26. In fact, according to LexisNexis, MSNBC logged 34 separate reports on this subject since Rove’s last date with the prosecutor.

Without question the worst offender on MSNBC was correspondent David Shuster, who typically logs reports for Chris Matthews’ “Hardball,” though he is also a frequent guest of Keith Olbermann’s “Countdown.” In the weeks subsequent to April 26, Shuster seemed to make it a personal mission to attack Rove on virtually a daily basis. This crusade culminated on May 8 when, as reported (go here) by NewsBusters, Shuster predicted on “Countdown” that indictments were imminent:

“Karl Rove’s legal team has told me that they expect that a decision will come sometime in the next two weeks. And I am convinced that Karl Rove will, in fact, be indicted.”

Not so surprisingly, Shuster didn’t show his face on either of the two broadcasts of “Hardball” on Tuesday. However, he was a guest on that evening’s “Countdown,” where, according to NewsBusters, (go here) he blamed his mistake on his legal sources:

“Well, sometimes when you're trying to track a secret grand jury investigation, the legal sources, the defense lawyers who have witnesses in front of that grand jury, sometimes they get it wrong, and that seemed to be the case in this particular case.”

Nice out, David. Very crafty. Even better was how Shuster punctuated his statements of disavowal by suggesting that Fitzgerald would only indict Rove if he felt there was a 99 percent likelihood of winning if it went to trial.

I guess the special prosecutor that worked on this case for two and a half years wasn’t as convinced of Rove’s guilt as Shuster.

However, on a comical note, a competitor of MSNBC’s felt it was important to point out just how wrong Shuster was. NewsBusters reported (go here) on Tuesday that Jake Tapper, on ABC’s “World News Tonight,” after stating, “And some Democrats and some in the media wrongly predicted Rove would be next,” aired the May 8 videotape of Shuster claiming that Rove would be indicted.

You really can’t make this stuff up.

Yet, Shuster wasn’t the only MSNBCer actively seeking an indictment for Rove. In fact, the person who first offered up Bush’s advisor as a target of Fitzgerald’s was none other than MSNBC’s senior political analyst Lawrence O’Donnell who in July 2005 said on “The McLaughlin Group” that Rove was the source that Time magazine’s Matt Cooper was protecting. Subsequent to that broadcast, O’Donnell wrote twelve pieces for the Huffington Post dealing with the possibility of Rove being indicted.

We can only hope that McLaughlin has O’Donnell on as his guest this Friday evening so that the rest of the gang--conspicuously absent Newsweek’s Eleanor Clift who likely is in mourning over this announcement--can help Larry remove all the egg from his face.

Another MSNBCer who should apologize to Rove is Chris Matthews, whose “Hardball” program prominently featured discussions about pending indictments for Bush’s closest advisor on fifteen shows since April 26.

In the end, it is highly doubtful that any of these networks or their representatives will actually acknowledge getting this story wrong, or apologize for impugning the character of one of America’s most important political figures this decade. Instead, they are likely to take the Matthews approach, and continue to focus on guilt that a special prosecutor couldn’t find after two and a half years of trying. Or, they’ll luck out like Cafferty and not have to face the music at all.

One can only hope that Americans will take heed of what has transpired in the past three years since Bob Novak’s now infamous column revealed Plame’s name, and recognize that as much as they might distrust politicians, the media are to be held in even lower esteem.

Of course, most polls already suggest such a condition exists. What a shock.

How many more soldiers and civilians have to die in the hands of the Gerbil??

From Thinkprogress:

"50,000.
Number of Iraqis “have died violently since the 2003 U.S.-led invasion, according to statistics from the Baghdad morgue, the Iraqi Health Ministry and other agencies — a toll 20,000 higher than previously acknowledged by the Bush administration.” And according to associated press, "Fifteen U.S. servicemembers have died or been found dead in Iraq this week."
"At least 2,520 members of the U.S. military have died since the Iraq war started in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count." Reality bites, folks!

2. Like this commentary from Talking Points Memo about the Gerbil. And it is the truth!

Josh Marshall on Bush's lack of a plan for Iraq
by John in DC - 6/25/2006 10:26:00 AM
From Josh:

"He's like an owner of a business that's slowly going under. He doesn't know how to save the situation. So he won't get more money or resources to fix the business. That's throwing good money after bad. And he won't just liquidate and save what he can, because then he'd have to come to grips with the fact that he's failed. So his policy is denial and slow failure. Here of course the analogy to President Bush is rather precise since he only has to hold out until 2009 when he can give the problem to someone else, just as he did in his past life with other businesses he drove into the ground."

"But for the country that's not acceptable. We don't have a policy except for slow burn and denial. And the president's ego isn't enough to ask men and women to die for. We need an actual plan. And the president doesn't have one."

"Democrats need to hammer this point again and again and not get tripped up in the president's bully-boy rhetoric. The president has no plan. He wants to stay in Iraq forever. He says for at least three more years. All the Republicans agree they want more of the same."

Post: Ex-CIA agent's warnings on WMD validity ignored

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- A former CIA officer says he made repeated efforts to alert top agency officials to problems with an Iraqi defector's claims about the country's mobile biological weapons labs but he was ignored, the Washington Post reported Sunday.
CIA officer Tyler Drumheller said he personally crossed out a reference to the labs from a classified draft of a U.N. speech by Secretary of State Colin Powell because he recognized the source as a defector, code-named Curveball, who was suspected to be mentally unstable and a liar.
Drumheller told the Post he was surprised when a few days later, on February 5, 2003, Powell told the U.N. Security Council that "we have first-hand descriptions of biological weapons factories on wheels and rails."

Thanks Roger! To add to your comments to connecting the dots, here is an article from Truthout.org:

Big Brother" Bush and Connecting the Data Dots
By Jonathan Turley
The Los Angeles Times
Saturday 24 June 2006
The Total Information Awareness program was killed in 2003, but its spawn present bigger threats to privacy.
The Disclosure this week of a secret databank operation tracking international financial transactions has caused renewed concerns about civil liberties in the United States. But this program is just the latest in a series of secret surveillance programs, databanks and domestic operations justified as part of the war on terror.
Disclosed individually over the course of the last year, they have become almost routine. Yet, when considered collectively, they present a far more troubling picture, and one that should be vaguely familiar.
Civil liberty-minded citizens may recall the president's plan to create the Total Information Awareness program, a massive databank with the ability to follow citizens in real time by their check-card purchases, bank transactions, medical bills and other electronic means. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, was assigned this task, but after its work was made public, Congress put a stop to it in September 2003 as a danger to privacy and civil liberties.
However, when Congress disbanded the Total Information Awareness program, it did not prohibit further research on such databanks, or even the use of individual databanks.
And, according to a recent study by the National Journal, the Bush administration used that loophole to break the program into smaller parts, transferring some parts to the National Security Agency, classifying the work and renaming parts of it as the Research Development and Experimental Collaboration program.
It was long suspected that Total Information Awareness survived, and the disclosure this week of another massive databank operation has only reinforced that fear. The spawn of DARPA seem to be turning up in secret programs spread throughout agencies.
The administration learned that it could not create a network of databanks in one comprehensive system, but it could achieve the same results by creating smaller systems that could be easily daisy-chained at a later date into the same kind of massive computer bank that Congress thought it had shut down. It is DARPA, albeit with assembly required for the ultimate user.
Consider some of the recent disclosures:
• A domestic surveillance program operated without warrants involving thousands of calls that are isolated by computers at the NSA.
• A massive databank that contains information on hundreds of millions of telephone calls of Americans that is described as the world's largest database.
• Access to information in a massive databank that carries 12.7 million messages each day on international financial transactions.
• Use of massive private databanks with access to an array of information on citizens, including at least 199 data-mining projects.
• Quiet support for a national registered-traveler program in which citizens voluntarily submit private information and subject themselves to background checks for faster passage through airport security. (The information would then be housed in a computer system accessible to the government.)

The Gerbil certainly violated Article 2 in the Constitution.

Full transcript:

FEINGOLD: Our number one moral responsibility is to protect the American people — to focus on those who attacked us on 9/11, to not be distracted into a situation where even the administration did not have Iraq as one of the 45 countries that was connected with al Qaeda.
Our number one responsibility is to protect the American people from being killed by terrorists. Iraq has very little to do with that at this point. Iraq is obviously a place where they’re training people, but the idea of standing up and keeping a military involvement forever in Iraq will actually weaken the American people’s ability to go after terrorists who, frankly, look like they’re taking over Somalia right now.
You know, Tim, today it was announced that a guy named Hassan Dahir Aweys is now the head of the government that has taken over in Mogadishu in Somalia. He is on the State Department’s terrorist list. He is known as an al Qaeda operative, or somebody that is connected with al Qaeda. While we were asleep at the switch, while we were bogged down in Iraq, while we were all focused on Iraq as the be all and end all of our American foreign policy, we are losing the battle to al Qaeda because we’re not paying attention.
I asked [Coordinator for Counter Terrorism in the State Department] Ambassador Crumpton at a hearing the other day, how many people in our federal government are working full time on the problem in Somalia? He said one full time person. We’ve spent $2 million in Somalia in the last year while we’re spending $2 billion a week in Iraq. This is insanity if you think about what the priorities are of those who have attacked us and those who are likely to attack us in the future.

Jason Leopold has some explaining to do, and he'll probably take the opportunity when he discusses his memoir, "News Junk-ie,'' at 7 p.m. Monday at Borders, 1390 University Ave., St. Paul.

Leopold, a former bureau chief of Dow Jones Newswires and now a freelance journalist, announced on a Web site in May that White House adviser Karl Rove was indicted on charges of perjury and lying to investigators in the Valerie Plame spy case. Rove is not going to be indicted, and it looks now as though Leopold's critics were right.

In "News Junkie,'' Leopold chronicles how he lived his daily life in fear someone would discover his past, filled with lies, drug addiction, theft, Mafia entanglements and prison. As a journalist, Leopold covered the California energy crisis, Enron's corporate fraud and insider trading scandals.

Publishers Weekly says: "While there's a lot of lying admitted to in this scrappy memoir, from Leopold's hiding of his criminal past to his playing of sources to get his scoops, it's (probably) not an untruthful memoir — indeed, it might become required reading for aspiring journalists.'' — Mary Ann Grossmann

"WASHINGTON -- Inside the Bush administration policymaking apparatus, there is strong feeling that U.S. troops must leave Iraq next year. This determination is not predicated on success in implanting Iraqi democracy and internal stability. Rather, the officials are saying: ready or not, here we go.
Well-placed sources in the administration are confident Bush's decision will be to get out. They believe that is the recommendation of his present national security team and would be the recommendation of second-term officials. An informed guess might have Condoleezza Rice as secretary of state, Paul Wolfowitz as defense secretary and Stephen Hadley as national security adviser. According to my sources, all would opt for a withdrawal."

From Firedoglake,

Connect the dots, folks!

With a history dating back to the late 19th century, General Dynamics is among the top five defense contractors based in the United States and involved in land, sea and air weapon systems.

In a November 2004 article in the Providence Journal, it was noted that General Dynamics is "the largest maker of armored vehicles for the U.S. military." According to Oakland, Calif. based watchdog, CorpWatch, General Dynamics received almost $10 billion in government contracts and made $1.42 million in political contributions (57% to Republicans) in the 2004 election cycle. (The blogosphere’s favorite senator, Joe Lieberman, received $10,000 from GD in 2005. Just one of the many defense industry donors to the junior senator from Connecticut.)

The Boston Globe noted at the time of his nomination that "Gordon England had no military experience, but he had just the right qualification to become President Bush’s pick for secretary of the Navy: Two decades in the corporate world." Former Pentagon and military officials populate General Dynamic’s Board of Directors, including Jay L. Johnson, Chief of Naval Operations in the U.S. Navy, Paul G. Kaminski, Under Secretary of U.S. Department of Defense for Acquisition and Technology, and George A. Joulwan, former U.S. Army Supreme Allied Commander, Europe.
Former Secretary of State Colin Powell had an interest in the company as well. He received $1 million of stock in General Dynamics, as well as more than $20 million in other corporate investments, when he joined the board of America Online.
General Dynamics’ ties to the federal government were further strengthened as former Attorney General John Ashcroft’s lobbying firm, The Ashcroft Group, was recently hired by GD.

But Al what you really mean is conservatives a dumb and ugly.
The bloggers on this blog know that we can take anything you say and turn it around.
So what you're saying is that conservatives are dumb and ugly I couldn't agree with you more!

As for Ann Coulter, she will always be a hate monger piece of trash. You two should get along very well seeing that you have so much in common.

I don't trust Feingold as far as I can throw him- he teamed up with McCain to take away my freedom of speach by passing some crap that says I can't say, "don't vote for that SOB" a week befor an election. Then come to find out the most votes for that crap came from Dem's- that hurt! And, look what happened, the GOP already had a plan to "swiftboat" the election anyway- Feingold was used and cheated me out my right to speak my mind before an election :/

Post: Afghans losing faith in Karzai... Developing...

Hmmm. Karzai.. Let's see.. Hamid Karzai is the current and first democratically elected President of Afghanistan (since December 7, 2004). Yet, Karzaionce worked as a consultant for the oil company Unocal. And Unical is "one of the key players in the CentGas consortium, an attempt to build a pipeline to run from the Caspian area, through Afghanistan and probably Pakistan, to the Indian Ocean." And the person who benefitted from the building of the pipeline was Big Dick Cheney and Halliburton... All about oil and profits!

Looks like the Gerbil's plans are foiling in Iraq... Have a good evening folks! Signing off!

Good night, SPB.

One thing I read too about Afghanistan, the contractors hired did shady work or no work at all. The work they did do wasn't finished or is falling apart already, they were totally ripped off. Money was robbed for rebuilding. Not sure by who, probably the same as Iraq.

Is Halliburton in Afghanistan too? I joke but wouldn't doubt it.

Jan, is there anyone that you trust in gov't?

Nice comments and yes Teak Halliburton is in Afgan. Read SPB's report on that he got the job after working with the Bush group. I wondered Bush massed up every business his father gave him even the baseball team. Now he's doing the same with the US. Bush is trying to down play the go out of my country order by the PM of Iraq. Talk about egg on your face that's what the GOP look like. We will not cut and run then Iraq PM saids US has to leave now. While Japan is leaving and England to follow. Now how's that again we will stay in Iraq even if they want us out. Oh and the trillion dollars we gave them they don't have to pay it back. Bush thought he was playing Iraq but as it turns out Iraq played Bush.

People on the Titanic were doing some hearty partying before the ship hit the iceberg. Everything seemed great for those who were running the show on the ship. Then the ship hit the iceberg and all hell broke lose. Just goes to show you that many important events take place below the water line, where most people can't see what is going on. And if I was a Republican, I'd be scared S**tless about what is below the water line right now.

(Snip from Greg Palast's article)

After two mad years of hunting, I discovered the real plan for Iraq’s oil, the one that keeps our troops in Fallujah. Some 323 pages long and deeply confidential, it was drafted at the James A. Baker III Institute in Houston, Texas, under the strict guidance of Big Oil’s minions. It was the culmination of a series of planning groups that began in December 2000 with key players from the Baker Institute and Council on Foreign Relations (including one Ken Lay of Enron). This was followed by a State Department invasion-planning session in Walnut Creek, California, in February 2001, only weeks after Bush and Cheney took office. Its concepts received official blessing after a March 2001 gathering of oil chiefs (and Lay) with Dick Cheney where the group reviewed with the Vice-President the map of Iraq’s oil fields.

The problem with Afghanistan is that the Bush regime "cut and run" to Iraq, long before Afghanistan was stabilized.

Shame on them. They have not made the world safer for American's, they have only made it more dangerous for us, and the innocent people in the Middle East.

The criminal's in the middle east are growing stronger because of the regime's policy. Shame on Bushco.

Bush and his band of talking chimps are the "cut and run" afficianado's.

The severe right is getting increasingly hostile because they've been busted and will continue to be exposed for the traitors they so convincingly are.

http://www.light-to-dark.com/ann_coulter_republican.html

These individuals-including Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Savage and others are generic cowards and avoid public forums where the true nature of their propaganda would be exposed. Rather, they are represented by surrogates who, by repetition of the same tired fascist talking points, hope-now beg-to move their dwindling numbers to support the junta.

--

And what is this? Mueller is using the phoney bust of domestic terrorists-which Bush helped to create-as fear inducement. Mueller, once again, has shown that he is not on America's side, but on the side of the enemy. He will be having a propaganda moment to explain this for his fuhrer.

http://www.light-to-dark.com/warrantless_wiretapping.html

Expect me to be less gentle on F.B.I. traitors in the future. I hate to break it to those with unblinking faith in them. The F.B.I. needs a harsh light shown on them for complicity with the junta. Patriots in their ranks must leak, testify, and cleanse the institution of it's traitors.

No more softball.

Blogger teak said...

Great drawing, Mr. Pitt. Mueller, I believe, was on Larry King bragging about the 'capture' of the 'terrorists' in Florida.

The ghosts of the innocent beckon for answers, do they have one that is not more lies?

12:06 PM

Isn't it convenient that the state of Bush (Florida) III was the stage of the "bust"? Jeb is a traitor.

Jeb signed the PNAC manefesto, essentially claiming criminal intent to break international law by totalitarian preemptive killing.

As the junta implodes we witness af tighter and tighter consolidation of power. Notice how Fox News is now the blatant organ of the junta, with the talking becomming ever so more shrill?

If I was in Sybel Edmond's shoes, I'd take prison time to save my country from fascism. Getting back to the top Blackwater Ops, Mueller, I ask:

Why did the F.B.I. willfully suppress pre-9/11 evidence that could have spared our country?
----
Why, Mr. Mueller? How many traitorous agents will you assign to the ACLU march in October? Stop protecting subversion, Mr. Mueller, and do what you are sworn to do: Protect the Constitution. Doing your job means arresting criminals who would threaten it and what it stands for. Protect the Constitution or the People will do it for you.

Stop being the mouthpiece of a criminal enterprise.
--------

Thank you, Teak.

http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/062606K.shtml

The timing of this "bust" is suspect on it's face and screams, "Bush @ 31%!!!"

Are we connecting the dots through the Bush mob, media enablers, Florida and the White House yet?

From the article:

"Justice Department officials used the arrests to justify their expansive tactics in combating terrorism and even released a "white paper" on 261 defendants, showcasing what they called their "impressive success" in thwarting terrorism. The release did not reveal how many people had been convicted of direct terrorist links and officials also refused to disclose those facts."

There is no justification for BushCo's attack on the Constitution, which Mueller enables. None.

Leak to a flood, patriots.
