All the journalist and those blogging the propaganda should give some of that money their being paid to lie by the GOP. Homeland Security has money to give away to the criminals they hired take some of that taxpayer money and give to Libby fund. Or better yet set up a govenment fund for all GOP criminals that way they wont have to beg.

Terror suspect alleges feds in Chicago covering up torture evidence

April 5, 2006 - A suburban man, who has admitted laundering money for terrorists, says federal authorities in Chicago are covering up evidence that he was tortured into confessing. In this Intelligence Report: the case against Muhammad Salah.

* Watch the Video

Very blunt documents filed in federal court by lawyers for Muhammad Salah allege a conspiracy between US prosecutors and the Israeli government, that they are in cahoots to cover up evidence that Salah and other Palestinians were tortured while in Israeli custody. They are suggesting the judge in the case is being used as a stooge and trying to inject a controversial reporter into the case.

Mohammad Salah contends that in 1993 police tortured him into admitting that he was an agent of Hamas, the Palestinian terror organization.

Salah was held and interrogated for almost two months by Israeli authorities, he says, in torturous bondage and subjected to beatings and mental punishment. The confession at the end of it all resulted in his five year prison sentence and the federal money laundering charges now facing him in Illinois

You can tell that Libby is running out of money for legal fees! His trial is not until January and how many fundraisers has the smurf had? The smurf is just nickeling and diming for loose change for his attorney fees. Desperate people do desperate things! I'm telling you folks. The smurf's attorneys will be soaking in the sun at the Cayman Islands in retirement with the smurf's legal fees. And I wonder how much leftovers will be left from the fundraiser! My bet is that there will be 100 buckets of KFC chicken wings left from the smurf party!

I watched the CNN clip of Fitz making the Libby announcement again, which got me thinking...

What about this theory?
Fitz did indict-Gonzo insisted it be sealed for "national security" or whatever.
Rover REALLY wanted it sealed too-allowing him personally to discredit the non-msm media reporting his immminent indictment and make people wonder about Fitz "being bought"...a two-fer, really- plus they buy more time for their criminal enterprise.

So if/when dastardly Dick is indicted, perhaps they will try to pull the same ploy. I doubt it will work twice...Dick needs to be seen as a flight risk and treated accordingly! If the judge doesn't see it that way, I'd complain repeatedly and outloud...(no kidding, huh? ;-)

Ex-Bush aide convicted in D.C. corruption case

WASHINGTON - David Safavian, a former Bush administration official accused of covering up assistance he provided to Republican influence-peddler Jack Abramoff, was found guilty on four counts of obstruction and making false statements.

Jurors were in their fifth day of deliberations when they alerted court officials that a verdict had been reached.

Safavian, the former chief of staff at the General Services Administration, was accused of concealing from GSA ethics officials, the GSA inspector general and Senate investigators his assistance to Abramoff.

I'm not sure if this was posted already here, but I thought it was interesting on the CIA Leak case. I think he is close to the truth here. I'd appreciate comments from others...

From CitizenSpook:

"If the status of this investigation has been terminated by "SEALED" activity, Fitzgerald has NO LEGAL OPTION to comment. That would give Rove, Luskin and Bush the freedom to liberally comment for Fitzgerald. The only way for Fitzgerald to legally give us a hint that something might be rotten in Denmark is to issue a "no comment" where "no comment" did not exist before.

And that's exactly what we have now, a "no comment" from Samborn to the only question he ever offered a substantive answer to in the past.

It's incredible that a US Attorney refuses to confirm the President of the United States concerning the question of whether a criminal investigation with grave national security interests has been ended.

I believe it's totally in the realm of possibility, if not probability, that Fitzgerald was shut down by "SEALED" activity. Had Fitzgerald seen this coming, it's possible he may have educated the Grand Jury to their Constitutional powers of PRESENTMENT as opposed to INDICTMENT. It's also alternatively possible Fitzgerald was ordered to end the investigation. And it's possible that both of these scenarios are in play.

If Fitzgerald has been illegally stopped, and that decision is sealed, then Fitz can't speak out. The Bush cabal would know that he couldn't legally speak out and thereafter choose their statements carefully, making it appear as if Fitz has ended the investigation by selective quotation. Of course, Luskin can help to clear all of this up by publishing the purported document which allegedly clears Rove. But so far, Luskin refuses to do that.

If my analysis is on point, I expect Fitzgerald may be awaiting future decisions of Judicial review before he takes considers more drastic options, ie resignation.

I want to go on the record and say I believe in Patrick Fitzgerald. Everything available to me as a critical human being which influences my instincts is screaming loud to me that Fitzgerald is an ethical man swimming amongst vipers. And I believe he and Samborn have used the only tool available to them to inform the public that the situation is not as clear cut as Luskin, Rove and Bush would have us believe.

Here is a channelled message about the Rove case if anyone's interested:

S: Well, it’s there because so many people want to know what happened to Karl Rove’s indictment and what can be expected from Patrick Fitzgerald’s work. What one reader wrote sums up what others said in one way or another, “Many of us are extremely worried about the direction of our nation.”

MATTHEW: Mother, we know this, and the concern is not limited to the people in the United States! What happened to Rove’s indictment is, in a word, skullduggery. After the indictment was served, dark ones more powerful than he motivated others, also with dark proclivity, to disqualify the meticulously prepared, airtight legal case against him. Do not expect your mainstream media to comment thusly, but many reporters and all others who are thinking soundly see this as greater proof of corruption in the US justice system than the Supreme Court’s complicity in the “stolen” last presidential election.

When I spoke earlier of “delays” that are not “setbacks,” I had in mind the decision affecting Rove, which we know was extremely disheartening to the majority of people in the United States as well as US government observers in other countries. Some see this as the “last straw” of hope and now fear that forevermore, the corrupt ones will be in control. NO! The truth about this derailment of justice and all other dark endeavors cannot be hidden much longer. What we see in this moment is a lull in any apparent movement while the dark ones temporarily put lids on public disclosures such as the monstrous web of the prostitution ring “hooker-gate” that extends to the White House and the total chaos in Iraq, and they enjoy short-lived victories such as the quashing of the indictment against Rove. But the forcefulness of the light will bring these back to the public eye along with all other truths, and it is likely that instead of revelations coming forth incrementally as previously indicated by their energy momentum, due to the acceleration of “time,” it will be more like a prolonged eruption with one truth leading directly to another with little respite between.

Please do not ask when this “eruption” will begin—it is not possible to know this. The momentum of any course of action does not follow a straight line; it zigs and zags in accordance with every bit of input until the energy is played out with one result or another. Only the lowest, or basest, off-planet sources give specific dates for any occurrence, and to a considerable extent, they achieve the outcome they desire: negativity. Because they know the dates will come and go without the forecast event happening, the negativity of confusion, disillusionment and loss of belief in all channeled information results. Even when dire predictions such as a comet hitting Earth do not come to fruition, the fear created by the potential event is a victory for the darkness. How often have we urged you to be keenly discerning about all information!

Let me carry this beyond the Rove situation regarding people’s fears that justice is dead and buried and the environment is doomed, too. Legal decisions like that about Rove and unjust new and longstanding laws in any country will be repealed when wise, spiritually evolved souls take the reigns of governments, and they are ready to do so. All activities that are injurious to your planet’s well being will cease and restoration will take place amazingly quickly when our ET family can openly work with you and put to use their technology at ground level. And as Earth continues on her ascension course, all forms of disease, deception, corruption and violence will end—everything ever devised with dark intent will be only history. I know I am repeating myself here—it’s for the benefit of newcomers to my messages. I ask that the dear souls who want more comprehensive information on these and myriad other topics read prior messages on www.matthewbooks.com.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening folks!

Happy Tuesday!

I read some of the comments for today.. Hmmm.. Presentment vs. Indictment... This sounds like Luskin's spin to try to confuse the public and the media. Presentment is a written document issued by the grand jury of any offence, from their own knowledge or observation, by officials charged with specified public duties. It doesn't include a formal charge of crime. Whereas an indictment is a formal charge. My thoughts since neither Fitz or Randall are talking about this case, Luskin is taking this opportunity to confuse the average citizen who may not under the terminology of law. Leopold was told by his sources that there was sealed document and that document is for Rove. Because there are so many major players involved in thie case, we have no idea what new information cropped to Fitz. But, nevertheless, the only way that this investigation is closed for good is that Fitzgerald, himself, would have to make that statement. This case is not over by a long shot.If he had a press conference for Libby's indictment, surely, he would have one to announce the closing of the leak case.. But, the secrecy by the DOJ office and Fitz is what has gotten the Gerbil and company very nervous...

A good morning for justice, as Safavian is convicted. And Abramoff's reporting date to Club Fed has been postponed. If I used to hang out with Abramoff, I'd be mighty nervous right about now. Best part about Safavian is that they convicted him without putting Abramoff on the stand. An interesting prosecutorial strategy that fortunately worked.

Anon at 11:50-- I have often speculated that the Dems might have a "Kim Philby" type lurking in their senior leadership. And the Carville-Matalin union is strange indeed. I have personal knowledge of what happens when you can't talk to a person you share a home with about what you do at work. The increased stress associated with that situation is difficult to take over a long period of time. Usually, something gives: 1) someone changes jobs (which is what happened in my case), 2) the people who share a home stop sharing a home, or 3) The people sharing a home start talking about things they should not talk about, to the detriment of third parties. Of course, there are those rare people who are able to make things work over long periods of time, notwithstanding the stress associated with not being able to talk about what you do at work. I hope for everyone's sake that such is the case with Carville-Matalin.

Chimpcoulter,

I know this case is a serious matter. I know Fitz takes this case seriously.. But, to be honest, the major players in this case are like a novel, comic strip, or a soap opera.. Many of their tactics are just the joke of the year! I have never read on some many nimrods from the Gerbil Administration. And I thought some of my own relatives are retarded, gone space city, just plain stupid, on another planet, or dropped when they were born! But, these cats take the cake! The smurf party funraisers are like the milk machine. The mike is all dried up just like his case. And Porkrind is running around with a temporary freedom card spreading the bullshit for the November election. And I know very soon that his temporary visitor card will be stamped "expired" and his parole officer, Luskin, will hall his ass back to court. And this time it will be a "real" indictment! I cannot wait for Rip Van Winkle Cheney to finally get brought to his knees to justice.. Maybe Fitz can hand his indictment in the daytime since Cheney has his uptime events and taking the blue pill at nights while resting his body in the afternoons. And the Gerbil? He will do what he do best and yearn for the bottle. I just read Jackie's comments that she hope that Condi is taking protection with the Gerbil. God helps us if there are multiple Gerbils running around this earth that yearns the bottle. What will happen to species on this earth?

Roger,

A lot of media will have different spins and answers to this leak case since Fitz is keeping mum about his investigation. People can harping about why this case has to be in secrecy or why can't Fitz come out and tell the public what is going on. I learn this from a grandparant that silence is powerful tool. And quiet people can be dangerous at times. You don't know actually how to read that person's thought which frightens people. Just watch between now and November election of some the slip ups, blunders, mistakes, and more scandals that will come out from the Gerbil and company. The Gerbil and company are too busy watching Fitz and his move. If they have a brain which they don't, they should put Henry Waxman, rep. in California on their radars. Waxman is the only one that has spearheaded questions about Rove's role in the leak case..The Gerbil and company are too busy focusing on Fitzgerald being the only leader of the pack to bring them down but never realized that there other army of leaders (Murtha, Feingold, Waxman, Conyers, etc) that have developed who are waiting in the wing to bring down the Gerbil!
