Hola PJF and Justice Bloggers,

Some funny strange news today:

Trailer Trash Pie

This quote from Firedoglake, Cal Thomas speaking on Fox News about MSNBC and other news channels:

"All of them are trying to copy FOX News now to be honest. Many of them are doing tabloid, more big lipped blonde’s and all this kind of stuff. There’s only so much of that trailer trash pie to go around."

***********************************

Okay I think Cal is an @ss and it was a very sexist condescending remark he made, but I have to come clean here bloggers...that I have had similar thoughts before aobut those blondes ON FAUX news...yada yada yada...

If Bush pardon's Libby you can bet Abramoff, DeLay, Cunningham, Lay and Skilling will be pardon too. New Bush policy if a friend comments criminal acts he/she will not be charged. Now is any other American does the same thing they will go to jail. Clinton was all most impeached for lying Bush has committed 751 crimes and broken international law yet he is not charged with anything. Notice while the Bush Administrtion spending the propaganda money for people to spread the lies the world has moved on. Let's see Iran, North Korea, Iraq, India, Russia and others are now making their move as world leaders. Well when you have the United States govenment stealing the taxpayers money and giving land and businesses to the Saudi's while the US is divided it works to the interest of other countries. Our govenment see our troops dying and being kidnapped because stealing oil yet the racist Press Secretary Tony Snow says our troops aren't human but numbers and don't put the kidnapping of the two GI's on the news just let the public think what Bush said is true " Everything is going well in Iraq and the new Iraq govenment is stopping the terrorist". I notice we have a paid employee of Bush on our blog to spread propaganda nice. I hope it's worth the money he/she is being paid. Oh I forgot those that spread the lies are the so called true Americans. The other world leaders are laughing and building their countries while the US has it's own corrupt govenment. Nice work George "you've done a helleva job destroying what great men have built in 200 years" and the Anon on this blog can be part of that down fall to history sad that he/she isn't proud enough to use their real name but it's all about the money isn't it.

It is such a shame that the media would sink that low to become Fox news wannabes. What happen to true and honest journalism and asking tough questions these days? The media has become a combination of Fox news and Entertainment Tonight all roll up into one.. That is why I watch less and less of the news lately. It is nothing propaganda and sensationalism these days. Who cares about the Pitt/Jolie baby story, the Cruise/Holmes baby story, Simon Cowell has gas on the American Idol and so on.. There is so much going on in this country and overseas and especially the corruption of the Gerbil Administration. That is where the media should be focused on. Instead of worrying about the other countries' backyard, worry about our own backyard first for goodness sakes!

Wow! Unbelievable! What a bunch of crooks! Check this out.

Federal contracts up 86% under Bush; Halliburton rises 600%

Top contractor Lockheed got contracts larger than budget of Congress, Dept. of Interior
WASHINGTON -- A new report claims that a "shadow government" of federal contractors has exploded in size over the last five years.
The document, compiled at the request of Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) and distributed to RAW STORY, indicates that procurement spending increased by over $175 billion between 2000 and 2005, making federal contracts the fastest growing component of federal discretionary spending.

Waxman claims that overcharging -- by mistake or outright fraud -- has been a frequent occurrance. In all, the report identifies 118 federal contracts worth $745.5 billion that have been found by government officials to include significant waste, fraud, abuse or mismanagement.
Each of the Bush Administration's three signature initiatives -- Homeland Security, the Iraq war and reconstruction in Iraq and Hurricane Katrina recovery -- has been linked to wasteful contract spending.
Spending is categorized in the report as highly concentrated on a few large contractors, with the five largest contractors receiving over 20 percent of contract dollars awarded in 2005. Last year, the largest federal contractor, Lockheed Martin, received contracts worth more than the total combined budgets of the Department of Commerce, the Department of the Interior, the Small Business Administration and the U.S. Congress.

What companies and "workers" will be building this super-highway? What is going to be in those containers shipped to and from Mexico? to the Far East? What is the Decider not telling us? What did the leaders in Mexico, Canada and U.S. talk about recently?

What do you picture in your mind when you think "guest workers"?

Folks,

Whem Fitz said that the media will distort the truth out the leak case, he was right!

On Fox News, Gibson and WSJ's Pollock served up debunked falsehoods on CIA leak investigation

Summary: On Fox News' The Big Story, Wall Street Journal editorial board member Robert Pollock and host John Gibson falsely claimed that "we know" that special counsel Patrick J. Fitzgerald "concluded very early on in his investigation ... that there wasn't a crime committed when somebody revealed the CIA identity of Valerie Plame." As Media Matters for America has noted, Fitzgerald in fact said the opposite -- that he could reach no conclusion about whether the alleged leak was a violation of law because of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby's testimony.

Discussing recent reports that special counsel Patrick J. Fitzgerald has informed White House senior adviser Karl Rove that he does not anticipate pursuing charges against Rove, Wall Street Journal editorial board member Robert Pollock baselessly claimed on the June 14 edition of Fox News' The Big Story with John Gibson that "we know" that Fitzgerald "concluded very early on in his investigation ... that there wasn't a crime committed when somebody revealed the CIA identity of Valerie Plame." In fact, as Media Matters for America has noted, when Fitzgerald announced the indictment of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby on charges of perjury and obstructing the grand jury's efforts to investigate the alleged leak of Plame's identity, Fitzgerald stated that he was unable to determine whether the alleged leak itself constituted a violation of the law. During the program, Pollock and host John Gibson served up various other debunked falsehoods regarding the leaking of Plame's identity.

Jason, IMO, may have had his problems, but he's no coward. I hope he keeps right on reporting because people know that he's not finished yet...I'd love to see more Enron and Bush/Cheney reports from him, people need to see that connection clearer.

Folks,

More information about Rep. Jerry Lewis. From TPMmuckraker:

Grand Juries in San Diego, L. A.; Summer of Scandal Heating Up?

"As part of the investigation surrounding Rep. Jerry Lewis (R-CA), the City of Twenty-Nine Palms received a subpoena to produce documents relating to their relationship with the lobbying firm Copeland, Lowery and Lewis. The city is a Copeland, Lowery client. The subpoena was obtained by The San Bernadino Sun."

"With a grand jury apparently in San Diego examining evidence in support of an indictment for Brent Wilkes, is the summer of scandal about to heat up?" The answer to that is yes!

Here is a copy of the only subpoena known to be released to the public from the Lewis probe -- from a US Attorney in Los Angeles to the City of Twentynine Palms.:

Roger,

I know that the media, the American people, and the fellow bloggers on this blog would like for Fitzgerald or Randall Samborn, Fitzgerald's spokesperson to come forward and release a statement about the leak investigation. I know that the bloggers have heard this statement a thousand times but this is still is ongoing investigation. By no shape or form that the investigation is closed nor being shut down. Yes, the Administration is trying to spin distorted comments about this investigation because neither Fitz nor Randall have commented on the case. Yes, I know that WSJ editorial and Fox News has been spinning negative comments about this case. Roger, the Administration is scared to death of the leak case going forward because they are so many key players in the WH that will implicated. They are going to try everythingthat they can to dismantle ths leak case because Fitzgerald is close to the truth. When that happens, it will exposed the truth on why the Administration went to Iraq in the beginning. But, there is a very good reason why Fitzgerald, FBI agent Eckenberg, and the entire DOJ office is in secrecy in the leak case. But, we all have to be patient with Fitzgerald. And I know that you have been very passionate about your concerns about the election fraud. And that is a very important issue for all of us. But, all I can say is let Mr. Fitzgerald do his job. He got to do what he got to do. And we all got to do what we need to do and this is Novemeber election. Get out an vote and not vote for those key people in office that are involved or have ties to any of the scandals!

With all of the spins, distortion, trash talking, sensationalism, and propaganda going on with the journalists and the media, we have to appreciate Fitzgerald by taking the law seriously and true to heart! Yes, we all hate secrecy or keeping a secret. We all want to know what is going on.. But, this sort of secrecy by Fitzgerald is in good reason. and when this case is over, the fellow bloggers and the American people will have sense of appreciation on why Fitzgerald has kept his investigation in secret for 3 years.

'Reception to be held at home of Democratic strategist
Conservative political strategist Mary Matalin will host a reception Tuesday night at her home in Alexandria to help augment the defense fund of indicted Cheney aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby according to an invitation read to RAW STORY.

According to those familiar with the reception, a mailing for the event included some 17 co-hosts, each contributing $5,000. The co-hosts listed on the mailing include former Commerce Secretary Don Evans, former Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham, Bush political media strategist Mark McKinnon, as well as former Congressman Bob Livingston, Ed Rogers, Rich Galen, David Kean and Bobby Birchfield."

"Individual tickets are $500, according to the individual who read the invitation."

"Lawyers and staff tied to the Fitzgerald Investigation are now in revolt. They are reporting that Karl Rove was indicted by the Grand Jury in Washington DC for perjury and obstruction of justice
and the indictments were recorded and handled to Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald.
It can now be reported that a Federal Magistrate (a Republican hack) expunged the indictments without objection from the Special Counsel." It appears that Fitz did get that raise he mentioned wanting several weeks ago.

Waterflake,

I knew sooner or sonner that the truth would come out. Now, I am not knocking anyone that has or going through problems in his or her marriage. But, the Gerbil ran his campaign in the 2004 election on moral values. And he has gotten on the soap box to preach to people about values especially to the gay community. I find it now hypocritical of King Gerbil to preach how we should look up to the Gerbil and Laura as the upstanding citzens when the rumorsare flying about a possible extramarital affair with Condi... When the truth does surface about his problems with Laura, he better worry about his own legacy.. The Gerbil will get a dose of his medicine being in the press for sensationalism just the same thing that Clinton faced with Monica and his wife!

Kiswrite, umm, yeah, unfortunately, one does not have to go that far south for there to be disapproval of a tryst like that. You wrote what I was thinking and, I think I can back up that statement with a story. My apologies for bringing up something sensitive . . .

Years ago, I lived a different northern state. For a while, I dated a guy of Irish descent and his friend, an African American guy, would sometimes tag along on road trips. Neither one of those guys had a car and I did (which probably explains why I was so 'popular' then!). The shorter of the two, the Irish guy, sat in the back seat based on leg room. We could not figure out why hillrods in pick up trucks (with gun racks) kept following my car. Sometimes, it got quite nasty with the hillrods trying to run me off the road on a few occasions. The hard way, I learned what 'pedal to the metal' really feels like, how to drive to escape, where not to go, and my favorite trick, how to drive at night with the headlights off just long enough to elude hillrods. Yes, I am a 'real' night owl. Too bad there were not cell phones then, some of those good ole boys would have been caught more easily for what, attempted reckless homicide? At least, reckless driving?

After seeing a couple of hillrods in white hoods, we figured it out. They must have assumed I was dating the African American who rode in the front seat.

Seeing any pick up truck with a gun rack and a Confederate flag still makes my blood run cold.

Just say 'no way' to close-minded racism (and attempted reckless homicide).

Hi - sorry to be so late but I have a question of all of you.

Is it just me, or is Tony Snowjob possibly the STUPIDEST person in the entire bunch of Administration hacks?

It isn't just that he parrots stuff. It's more than that. He genuinely appears to have "foot in mouth" disease.

He babbles like Bush - saying nothing and even then, the nothing he says sounds stupid.

And you think so, Basheert! We have a King Gerbil who thinks Global warming is warming the globe. We have a VP who for the third time falls asleep thru meetings. And we have Girlfriday who was never qualified for her position from the get go who was giving the job by the Gerbil. And sleepy Cheney has been doing Condi's current job and past job as National Security Adviser. And finally, we have DOD Rummy who needs to be in a nursing home. we are dealing with an entire WH that are not playing with a full deck here! http://cassiopaea.com/cassiopaea/psychopath.htm

If you discover you too have no conscience and might be a "psychopath," then formulate a conscience intellectually and operate on that basis at all costs!

Hey there are psychopaths in every walk of life who present a picture of normality. The problem may vary but if you really think about it government is like sugar, and there are too many people like this occupying top positions. It may be a problem for people with a conscience who are forced to "go along to get along." After a certain point they too void their conscience, say like a science fiction movie such as the "Body Snatchers."

Well have a good read, and keep your senses, you too may have to form an intellectual conscience, if your reflexive conscience is already gone!
