More wisdom from GEF today:

"Choice C: Stay Home, Sulk then complain that GOVT is crap in the NEXT Climate Change event(like Katrina). (ZERO)"

"Don't Vote is a valid choice and don't let people fool you about that.."

What a laff! You are mixed up aren't you?

All talk and no action and just as I thought.

Quit doing all those bong hits and go vote.

Good Evening Everybody,

yes good and encouraging info. I voted today - on paper and took pictures of it, of course.

Looking forward to keeping an eye on the church folk's polling place tomorrow hehe

Harvey Wasserman and Bob Fitrakis were on CNN tonight telling Lou Dobbs how they think Blackwell will try and mess things up.

They gave me a hassle when I asked for paper ballot, said you gotta vote on the machine-till they noticed the reporter standing next to me and I pointed out that was not correct according to my poll worker observer training...the place was PACKED. Another (nicer) worker said it has been like that since last Monday. One republican poll worker purposely told people to get in the wrong line and then said she didn't and 5 people said at the same time "No mam, that IS what you said"
They can't win, so they make it as difficult as possible just to vote..

You know I was talking to people in line-dems 3 to 1 standing in that line-the republicans kept their mouths shut, which easily id them!

GEF don't make me come after you telling people not to vote!! This is more important than the presidential election for the simple fact that we are watching and recording any and all cheating-no matter who does it.

Goin' blogging

Fitz why is some intel contractor doing employment screening when I haven't applied yet.

Hmmm...You have a penchant for Bongs I see...

Interesting...

You also have a penchant for taking things out of context..

How about introducing the rest of my post a part of Choice A and B as well...

It's typical of people as Faux news who do the same thing...

Out of Context replaces the truth!

A Voter's Menu

A cannibal was walking through the jungle and came upon a restaurant opened by a fellow cannibal. Feeling somewhat hungry, he sat down and looked over the menu...

Broiled Missionary: $10.00
Fried Explorer: $15.00
Baked Politician: $100.00

The cannibal called the waiter over and asked to speak to the cook. The cook came out and the cannibal asked, "Why such a price difference for the politician?"

The cook replied "Have you ever tried to clean one?"

DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!!!

Yes, actually several! The media should not laugh at the new Party's like if they were from outer space.

Like they did to Ross Perot and the Green Party a few years ago. As well as give them equal coverage and respect as an equal!

We'll see tomorrow! :)

We shall see if those predictions are true. If the Dems get at least 15, then we are home free. The Senate race will be quite interesting. But, Scrotum is definitely hosed. Might as well hand the keys over to Casey. I will be interesting in Burns and Macaca Allen area.

You are right. With the 750 laws that the Gerbil has broken, he has to alter the Constitution to save his neck. I think that is why it is important what is said in the Constitution and what the Founding Father sacrificed for our freedom that we have today.. And I am sure that Feingold will be ready after the election to go over the Gerbil for those broken laws and wiretapping and domestic spying...

Yes, the Dems will win both House & Senate and we are going to get our great, wonderful country back to the people! Everyone on this blog has worked hard for that!
We will succeed! :)

I believe that all poltical parties should be eliminated. This is America and people should be vote for a candidate that he or she chooses that will fit to run the country and not based on a political party or affiliation...

Hmmm...I like how you're thinking Biloxi. That might just work too.

However it will only work if we put through legislation to require every registered voter to take Constitutional classes for about 2 weeks and to start our kids in both Constitutional classes and Civil Responsibility classes as well..

We must never let this happen again!

Our Nation won't change overnight if we implement that but it will change in mindset and direction immediately!

This is not going to be overnight GEF. You know who will change the political party mentality? Gen Y. As long as you have the old mentality elected officals that have been in office for 100 years, it will not happen. With people who innovative ideas such as Obama, Herald Ford, and others, there is hope in the future.. This country will not change unless you have a majority amount of elected officals with new ideas and want to move this country to the next level.

I listened to Clinton, I am so conflicted by him. How I wished he'd been a stronger person and not allowed himself to be set up.
Anyway, he was so funny and hit it on the mark. Wished he'd been everywhere working for all candidates, including LaMont.

Well, I do agree with you guys..we need more to choose from when we vote...more than what is behind door #1 or door #2. And, GEF, I REALLY like your ideas about classes because Americans don't seem to know much about the laws that govern this land.

I disagree, GEF. It will work only if you have a legislation full of elected officials with fresh ideas and willing to change. The problems with Congress, government, and Senate are that we still have people with the old mentality. I look for Gen Y to change the way that we think and do in this country in the future. With the U.S. being ranked number 25 in the country, we are not ready as a unison into the future. But, I do agree with the classes. But, you need a vast majority of people who want to learn and be educated rather than be entertained.

Back in the 70's I had a penchant for bong hits that brought political complacency (except for talk of bloody revolution) and lassitude about life in general. I had the common youth attitude that my vote doesn't count and they're all crooks so it doesn't matter anyway.

I grew out of all that.

Consider if all the youth that have complained about Bush Inc. since 2000 had voted in strong numbers to begin with..we would not even be on this blog most likely...there would be no Libby or Porkrind etc.

Where this country has failed is citizen apathy. The leaders of both parties know that only 40% at best will vote and the others are easily enough manipulated as they are most all activated with their personal causes.

More than 2 parties would be better yet now think how Nader gave us Bush.

Some will say Perot gave us Clinton and I may agree there but i'm not complaining either.

Numerous parties will only give us a system like Italy...one that collapses every 2 years...lol

2 years ago I held my hopes on big youth turnout but it didn't happen...playing golf, lifting weights and girls gone wild took precedence i suppose... ?

Tonight my hopes ride on the minority turnout....make it so.

Correction:

"The leaders of both parties know that only 40% at best will vote and the others are easily enough manipulated as they are most all activated with their personal causes.'

Should have meant the ones that do vote are activited politically usually on personal issues.

too many bong hits tonight.......

Three boys are in the schoolyard bragging of how great their fathers are.
The first one says:"Well, my father runs the fastest. He can fire an arrow, and start to run, I tell you, he gets there before the arrow".

The second one says:"Ha! You think that's fast! My father is a hunter. He can shoot his gun and be there before the bullet".

The third one listens to the other two and shakes his head. He then says:"You two know nothing about fast. My father is an elected official. He stops working at 4:30 and he is home by 3:45!!"
