Good Fences Make Good Neighbors...

Obama on Rezko deal:
It was a mistake

Other than this single error in judgement...I am sure Chicago politics have left Obama clean as a whistle...better get some Irish Spring, laddy.

The only thing I don't like about Obama is that he is too close to DLC democrats-the ones who are all blah, blah and no action. (The war, the economy, ect)

They seem intent to keep the status quo and that's not working!

When they call the roll in the Senate, the Senators do not know whether to answer 'Present' or 'Not guilty.'

'I don't recall'
The Obamas' mansion, which they bought for $1.65 million in June 2005, sits on a not-so-quiet corner amid other mansions. They purchased it after Obama struck his $1.9 million book deal with Random House and Crown Publishers, a loophole in the ethics laws that limit how members of Congress can make money on the side.<

It's an impressive place from the outside, a stately Georgian revival built in 1910 with the tall wrought iron fence encircling an ample side yard. The fence has a three-foot concrete base that also wraps around the property, and inside that, a row of tall evergreens that help provide a degree of privacy.

Looking for loopholes?

I remember when I was a kid out in the back yard. I was in my good clothes, and me and my brother were just covered with mud. Mom looked at us in disgust, and said: Well it's too late now...just keep on playing...We'll wash the clothes later.

And it is good that Obama had admitted to his mistake of buying property from Rezko. I know that the naysayers will be right there to criticize Obama especially since he is thinking about running for President in 2008.

There are so many unremarkable million-dollar listings all over Chicago these days, I don't know if a mere $1.65 mil structure qualifies for mansionhood.

The loose cannons at cloakanddagger.de have had plenty to say about Obama for a while now.
Looks like the wingnuts were right again.

I'm tired of dirtbags period and why in the hell would he run for president? I mean what the hell has he done?
