This election is about permitting the GOP pederast network to continue to run Washington with impunity. We have already seen the GOP pouring money into the Minnesota 6th Congressional District in support of far right Michele Bachmann against Patty Wetterling, whose 11-year old son Jacob was kidnapped 17 years ago by a masked gunman. The same ilk of predatory creatures now lurk with impunity in the Republican Party leadership at all levels: local, state, and federal.

The GOP and their North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) and affiliated supporters do not want to see Ms. Wetterling using a US House of Representatives bully pulpit to ruin their cryptic and secretive life styles. That's why they are doing everything to ensure that Bachmann wins this particular seat. Ms. Wetterling is the pederasts' worst nightmare. There has never been a real champion for missing and abused children in Congress, especially someone who has personally experienced the personal and family trauma brought about by these lowest forms of humanity (the GOP had pederast Mark Foley as their co-chairman of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children! If he was their best choice, just think who and what were the GOP's runners-up).

Bush: U.S. Doesn't Torture Prisoners

President Bush said Friday the United States does not torture prisoners, commenting after Vice President Dick Cheney embraced the suggestion that a dunk in water might be useful to get terrorist suspects to talk.

Human rights groups complained that Cheney's words amounted to an endorsement of a torture technique known as "water boarding," in which the victim believes he is about to drown. The White House insisted Cheney was not talking about water boarding, but would not explain what he meant.

Less than two weeks before midterm congressional elections, the White House was put on the defensive as news of Cheney's remark spread. Bush was asked about it at a White House photo opportunity with NATO Secretary-General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer. Presidential spokesman Tony Snow was pelted with questions at two briefings with reporters.

Democrats also pointed to Cheney's statement.

"Is the White House that was for torture before it was against it, now for torture again?" tweaked Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass. Kerry, in his unsuccessful campaign for the presidency, had been skewered by Bush for saying he had voted for war funds before he voted against them.

"Well, it's a no-brainer for me," Mr Cheney replied. "But for a while, there I was being criticized as being the Vice-President for torture. We don't torture, that's not what we're involved in."

But neither that disclaimer, nor yesterday's statement by President George Bush that "this country does not torture", satisfied human rights groups, which said Mr Cheney was endorsing water boarding - a form of torture simulating drowning.

With his comments, Mr Cheney "has issued the Bush administration's first clear endorsement of a form of torture", said Human Rights Watch. They "contradict the views of the US Congress and the US Defence Department, as well as fundamental principles of international law".

Scooter and Lynne....

"Is there a pattern with the people surrounding the VP?"

Excerpt from Trance-Formation of America by Cathy O'Brien and Mark Phillips

Dick Cheney, then White House Chief of Staff to President ... all » Ford, later Secretary of Defense to President George Bush, documented member of the Council on Foreign relations (CFR), and Presidential hopeful for 1996, was originally Wyoming's only Congressman. Dick Cheney was the reason my family had traveled to Wyoming where I endured yet another form of brutality -- his version of "A Most Dangerous Game," or human hunting.

Dick Cheney had an apparent addiction to the "thrill of the sport." He appeared obsessed with playing A Most Dangerous Game as a means of traumatizing mind control victims, as well as to satisfy his own perverse sexual kinks. My introduction to the game occurred upon arrival at the hunting lodge near Greybull, Wyoming, and it physically and psychologically devastated me. I was sufficiently traumatized for Cheney's programming, as I stood naked in his hunting lodge office after being hunted down and caught. Cheney was talking as he paced around me, "I could stuff you and mount you like a jackalope and call you a two legged dear. Or I could stuff you with this (he unzipped his pants to reveal his oversized penis) right down your throat, and then mount you. Which do you prefer?"

A Halliburton subsidiary that has been subjected to numerous investigations for billions of dollars in contracts it received for work in Iraq has systematically misused federal rules to withhold basic information on its practices from American officials, a federal oversight agency said yesterday.

The contracts awarded to the company, KBR, formerly named Kellogg Brown & Root, are for housing, food, fuel and other necessities for American troops and government officials in Iraq, and for restoring that country’s crucial oil infrastructure. The contracts total about $20 billion.

“The arrogance is astounding on the part of KBR,” said William L. Nash, a retired Army major general who is a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and an expert on postconflict zones. “It’s time for Congress to step in, because this has just gone too far.”

PBS did stories about KBR serving sub-par food or soldiers not having enough to eat.

This CFR, is it just some of them that are questionable (not in our best interest nor humanity's?) Since know corrupt people also serve on these type of committees, is that a fair question?

It seems that they want to destroy populations or humanity instead of finding positive solutions. Seeing some of the names on the list, certainly more than a few have their own personal agenda.

Did a PBS program lie when they said KBR was already setting up shop before invading Iraq was brought up to the American people? Have these contractors earned their money? Did they deserve to be awarded the contract (not to mention the fraud) when nothing much was accomplished in Iraq?
One would think that our troops (that give their lives to protect these contractors) have families at home struggling and the Iraqis that had their country "shocked and awed" deserve better.

The latest is that Denny likes to enable pedophile groomers despite what his fellow Republicans have said that he was told. One can also read that Denny might have a secret or two of his own in that area to hide.

No wonder Hastert protests so loudly about the La. crook, he has many secrets of his own to hide or was he tipped off to destroy evidence?

pope_church_abuse

VATICAN CITY (AP) - Pope Benedict XVI said Saturday that the church must urgently rebuild confidence and trust damaged by clerical sex abuse scandals, which have created deep wounds.

The pope made the remarks to a group of visiting bishops from Ireland, an overwhelmingly Roman Catholic nation where the church has been damaged by sex abuse scandals over the past decade.

"In the exercise of your pastoral ministry, you have had to respond in recent years to many heart-rending cases of sexual abuse of minors," the pontiff told the bishops. "These are all the more tragic when the abuser is a cleric."

Excellent of the Pope. He should help expose the truth about these pedophile rings around the world. Secrets, fear and manipulation are how pedophiles, evil, tyrants continue to operate.

Anon 2:14,

Of course it would be excellent for the Roman Catholic Church to finally come to their senses, I'm afraid though their change of heart is caused by public opinion rather than moral conviction...

In fact it was there very same Ratzinger who many years ago was responsible for producing a paper for a procedure that stated the Catholic Church should try protect sex offenders, cover up the matter and just shuffle them around through dioceses.

The Vatican only ever aknowledged the fact of having, protecting and covering sex offenders after the 'Magdalene Sisters Scandal' and the Ferns Report started to raise public recognision of the profile.

So I'm afraid good ole Ratzinger isn't follwing his heart but rather his PR advisors...

I was having a hopeful moment and wishing the Pope had seen his cover-up of pedophiles will always come back to haunt the church and is evil to say the least. His cover-ups, the bishops and other church officials only result in many more children's minds, bodies and souls raped. Any religion, cult, government, corporation, school official, parent that steals the innocent of children for their own sick perverted, power-hungry and greedy agenda should be exposed to the world for the scum and evil they are...keeping quiet only feeds these monsters of hell. We failed the victims and enabled the monsters, enough.

You're absolutly right and I do hope they'll 'see the light' but so far let's be cautious, especially given the history of the current Pope.

I think that goes for any big organizaiton, government or group; if the change course only after public exposure we should be sceptic as to whether it's genuine. But than again; there is always hope!

How the Bush Family Makes a Killing from George's Presidency
Halliburton scored almost $1.2 billion in revenue from contracts related to Iraq in the third quarter of 2006, leading one analyst to comment: "Iraq was better than expected... Overall, there is nothing really to question or be skeptical about. I think the results are very good."

Very good indeed. An estimated 655,000 dead Iraqis, over 3,000 dead coalition troops, billions stolen from Iraq's coffers, a country battered by civil war - but Halliburton turned a profit, so the results are very good.

Very good certainly for Vice President Dick Cheney, who resigned from Halliburton in 2000 with a $33.7 million retirement package (not bad for roughly four years of work). In a stunning conflict of interest, Cheney still holds more than 400,000 stock options in the company. Why pursue diplomacy when you can rake in a personal fortune from war?

Whatreallyhappened.com

Ever wonder what would they have done if the Iraqis did greet with flowers and sweets? Ever wonder if "create a crisis" happens so the war profiteers can continue to make money and get their bases done? Trust the 3 stooges of B,C and R and their greedy ilk? Never.

Democrats lead as poll shows bump for Bush, GOP

As the race for Congress enters the homestretch, the Republicans find themselves limping to the finish line, according to the new NEWSWEEK Poll. President Bush’s approval rating continues a slow but steady climb—from an all-time NEWSWEEK-poll low of 33 percent three weeks ago to 37 percent today. But it may be too little, too late: if the midterm elections were held today, 53 percent of those likely to go to the polls would vote for the Democratic candidate in their Congressional district versus just 39 percent who would vote for the Republican.

In July, a Treasury Department spokeswoman disclosed that a Treasury-led panel had contacted Smartmatic, and a company representative said his firm was ''in discussions'' with the panel. At the time, those discussions were informal. The government has now upgraded to a formal investigation, the two sources said.

Sequoia's electronic voting machines operate in 17 states. In Florida, the machines are used in four counties: Palm Beach, Indian River, Pinellas and Hillsborough.

Miami-Dade and Broward use other technology.

Concerns about Smartmatic are keen on the eve of the Nov. 7 election, given fears that someone with unauthorized access to the electronic system could create electoral chaos. Some critics believe that if the Venezuelan government is involved, Smartmatic could be a ''Trojan horse'' designed to advance Chavez's anti-American agenda.

However, officials in all four Florida counties using Sequoia said they were satisfied with the machines and were not concerned about allegations of a Chávez connection because company officials told them the Venezuelan government had no stake in the company.

Apparently, we are suppose to believe that America's memories have failed on that one too like Repukes want us to do. Trying to shift focas away from Diebold and their other crooked schemes?

Who benefited from the voting fraud? The same that now tries to shift focas off themselves?

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - David M. Walker sure talks like he's running for office. "This is about the future of our country, our kids and grandkids," the comptroller general of the United States warns a packed hall at Austin's historic Driskill Hotel. "We the people have to rise up to make sure things get changed."

But Walker doesn't want, or need, your vote this November. He already has a job as head of the Government Accountability Office, an investigative arm of Congress that audits and evaluates the performance of the federal government.

Basically, that makes Walker the nation's accountant-in-chief. And the accountant-in-chief's professional opinion is that the American public needs to tell Washington it's time to steer the nation off the path to financial ruin.

What they don't talk about is a dirty little secret everyone in Washington knows, or at least should. The vast majority of economists and budget analysts agree: The ship of state is on a disastrous course, and will founder on the reefs of economic disaster if nothing is done to correct it.

There's a good reason politicians don't like to talk about the nation's long-term fiscal prospects. The subject is short on political theatrics and long on complicated economics, scary graphs and very big numbers. It reveals serious problems and offers no easy solutions. Anybody who wanted to deal with it seriously would have to talk about raising taxes and cutting benefits, nasty nostrums that might doom any candidate who prescribed them.

Rawstory

Most people do have a good idea anyway, didn't Poppy leave office the same way? Bush's lies about Americans are doing great is all bullshit.

Next, Harris gets her turn.

"Nothing that we believe in the world would exist without you," she says to Jewish leaders in the crowd. "We're all sort of Jewish wannabes."

Jews "are the chosen people," she tells the crowd, to uproarious applause and whistles. "You are the apple of God's eye."

The crowd of more than 1,000 people is part of a movement that believes Jews play a key role in the fate of Christians.

For them, the Rapture -- a miraculous event where Jesus Christ resurrects the dead and sweeps his loyal followers from the Earth -- depends on a complete restoration of the nation of Israel, including the rebuilding of the Temple on the Mount and the reclaiming of all the holy lands.

Actions and words speak very loudly to a lot of Americans. Fooled no more.

Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Karen Hughes heads off to the Middle East this weekend for a round of public diplomacy. Think Progress has obtained this internal memorandum sent from Hughes to National Security Council Principals earlier this month entitled “Thinking ‘bigger.’”

A key section of this memo offers the Bush administration’s strategy for “Public Diplomacy to Counter Insurgency in Iraq.” Far from “thinking bigger,” the recommendations for defeating the insurgency are small-minded, unambitious, and disconnected from reality. Here are Hughes’ three ideas:

– Substantially expand…[the] “Micro scholarship” program…targeted at youth in key disadvantaged areas in Iraq, such as Sadr City or Anbar Governorate.”

– Create a fund to support media projects by Iraqis, such as documentaries, short films, animation, audio-visual productions and other material that would show Iraq’s reality to pan-Arab and pan-Islamic audiences.

– Revive book publishing in Iraq to fill the intellectual vacuum…and support…Iraq’s hard-pressed intellectuals.

See the full memo HERE.

These are all nice ideas in theory, but the problems affecting Iraqi society go much deeper and are far more serious that the administration wants to admit. Iraq is in a state of endemic chaos, marked by four raging internal conflicts, ethnic cleansing, and few significant advances in Iraq’s economic reconstruction.

These recommendations fail to scratch the surface of the underlying problems and do not address what the recent Iraq NIE described as “a deep resentment of U.S. involvement in the Muslim world.” Hughes’ memo sadly reveals that the administration is not “thinking big” enough about the problems resulting from our current occupation of Iraq. To get things right in Iraq, we need to embrace a complete shift in strategy and adopt a policy of strategic redeployment

Democrats point out that House Speaker Dennis Hastert's four top aides, his Chief of Staff Scott Palmer, his Deputy Chief of Staff Mike Stokke, Hastert liaison with the House Clerk's Office Ted Van Der Meid, and former House Clerk Jeff Trandahl have all been implicated in the House page scandal, along with the entire House GOP leadership and current and past Republican members of the House Page Board.

The GOP is trying to make the claim that the House Ethics Committee, which it runs, is almost finished with its "investigation." However, senior Democrats in the House claim that there has been no "investigation," merely a cover-up to dowse the flames from a serious sex scandal days before the election.

What exact date did Lady Justice take her blindfold off to see if the criminals were special or elite? I bet there are millions in America that wonder that very question. Didn't anyone take an oath?

Karen Hughes, the "image-maker," communication strategist for Bush. She appeared on each TV network. If you know who she is, you know she is always casual looking, usually appearing in a blazer jacket of some kind with windblown hair. Ah, but now she was magically refreshed, meticulously groomed, and coiffed without a loose hair. Her makeup was very exacting. I noticed because she looked "different." She didn't look like a bedraggled campaigner who was up all night. Her persona was completely transformed. She was wearing as best I can recall a taffeta-like dress of black and white, tiny checkers, complete with a cloth flower on her lapel or shoulder made of the same fabric. It was reminiscent of styles worn a long time ago by "ladies."

Her manner of speaking exuded intimidating confidence, like so many Republican women speak. She said was convinced that Bush had been reelected. She said it was clear that even when all the provisional ballots would be counted there will not be enough votes for Kerry to win Ohio. In a condescending way, she said that Kerry perhaps "needed more time to reflect." She seemed to make sure that every channel carried what she had to say. Kerry could not have missed this if he was watching TV, nor could he have missed the following.

Very interesting flashback while we are waiting on the elections.

I remember Jeb called CBS to report his brother's victory in Florida. No conflict of interest, no sirree.

The detective from Florida has once again tried to convince the public that Johnny was not in the photo of the three boys, who were bound and gagged on a bed. We had this photo on my website for a time. Three weeks ago. we were contacted by the parents of two of the boys. We have verified that the children were missing /abducted and have removed that photo by request of the parents. We also have an eye witness who identified all three boys,(including Johnny) the communication was made possible by the attorney representing the witness. From the moment I received the photos I stated that it was my intent to try and locate the parents to bring some peace to them. We have done that and we are now concentrating on resolving the origin of Johnny's photos. The other parents do not want further press coverage at this time in their lives so we are respecting their wishes.

http://www.johnnygosch.com/

This Florida detective has such an "unusual interest" in Johnny and this case, it makes me wonder WHY.

"83 boys tied and gagged on this website." (link found on gosch site, I don't want to see that)

Every parent needs to start talking again to your kid but most important talk to your neighbors, family, community and show them what is being hidden by the government. No sick S.O.B.'s freedom is worth a child's life or innocence. How many more kids' abductions are being covered up to protect elite pedophiles?

Rockefeller Predicted "Event" To Trigger War Eleven Months Before 9/11
Hollywood director Russo recalls remarkable "forecast" of coming attack

Paul Joseph Watson/Prison Planet.com | October 28 2006

Hollywood director and documentary film maker Aaron Russo, currently receiving a wave of plaudits for his latest release, America: From Freedom to Fascism, told The Alex Jones Show that Nicholas Rockefeller had personally assured him there was going to be an "event" that would trigger the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq eleven months before 9/11 took place.

Right, Anthony.

Why were the taliban meeting in Texas, I believe, in July '01 about a pipeline?

I was watching PBS late last night, that magazine 'Home Made Simple was giving tips how to save dried out chicken, blah..blah.

Anyway, they had this quote from John Rockefeller

Went something like this: "I try to make an opportunity out of every disaster."

Rockefeller owned WTC (previously), all I could think was 9/11--you all sure the hell did, you made it happen.

In simple terms like the magazine's slogan. The whole BushCo. and their ilk over-reacted to 9/11 while the media lied and played those scenes again and again to traumatize a nation into submission. All these mistakes by BushCo., the military leaders (civilian and top dogs), FBI, CIA, NSA, Congress, whatever....are not really mistakes. They are making planned opportunities....at the expense of their citizens and the memories of the victims of 9/11.

Hard to justify building all those bases in Iraq, if they had met us with sweets and flowers, eh? Nope, we need chaos, lots of chaos to deny, divert, divide, conquer and CONTROL.

Demand the whole truth about Iraq, Afghanistan, 9/11, OKC bombing, and WTC '93 bombing. Demand the truth about the chaos meant to deny and divert.

Think ole Rockefeller ever once in his life had to figure out how to make do with dried out, over-cooked chicken?

Yet, ironically, the death squads are the result of US policy. At the beginning of last year, with no end to the Sunni insurgency in sight, the Pentagon was reported to have decided to train Shia and Kurdish fighters to carry out "irregular missions". The policy, exposed in the US media, was called the "Salvador Option" after the American-backed counter-insurgency in Latin America more than 20 years ago, which led to 70,000 deaths and countless instances of human rights abuse.

The initial tests on samples taken from the site of the Israeli strike on Khiam present an enigma which will only be solved when the people who produced and deployed the weapon explain themselves. Speculation that the device was some form of "dirty bomb" or micro-yield nuclear weapon can probably be dismissed. The radiation levels and the amount of Uranium-235 in the sample clearly indicate that it was not a nuclear fission weapon.

It is also uncertain whether the munition was made in the US or by the Israelis themselves. If the Israelis or the Americans want to avoid accusations, at the very least, of a cavalier attitude to the use of nuclear waste products, they need to explain what was in that bomb and why it was there.

Dump these evil-doers out of our government and DoD, get Israel out of the U.S. flawed policy. Vote for change-- don't you think children deserve better than this?

I didn't vote for either one in 2000 or 2004. I did vote in Local races tho.

Although I seriously believe that using the Judiciary to select a President is UnConstitutional. There's also a good majority of Americans believe that there's evidence being suppressed that shows that Ohio's Vote was Hijacked in 2004 by the NeoCONjobs.

My motto when it comes to Presidents is to Vote for the Best of two "good" candidates. I don't like voting for the Best of two bad choices for America.

When you vote for the best of two bad choices you set a condition that allows the worse one to do something shady to hoodwink the people and put himself as emperor...

We saw this happen twice folks yet the people are still to this day walking in a delusion that their candidate is some heaven sent dream.

And, by that I don't mean giving them handouts...but helping them to improve their lives through education, employment, or whatever it would take to help them to be productive member of society again!

It is very sad to me that we have homeless people in this country!! We also have children that go to bed hungry every night!

Yet, our government wastes billions of our tax dollars for unnecessary, senseless expenditures! You all know what I'm talking about and we need to hold our government accountable for the way they spend our tax dollars!

The Politico-Christian right is the product of an Unholy Trilogy forged in the 1970s between avaristic power mongers like Paul Weyrich, their corporate-America financial backers (including Richard Mellon Scaife , the Coors family, and the DeVos-Amway founders), and the Christian Right televangelist-demagogues like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. Through Weyrich's numerous "think tanks," as well as through groups like the super-secret Council on National Policy, these three tentacles of the Politico-Christian Right have worked together to manipulate the masses to further their own avaristic goals.

Over the past three decades, the Politico-Christian Right has worked has become progressively more involved in manipulating American politics. Despite the fact that, nationally, voters have consistently demonstrated that they are uncomfortable with a candidate who voices plans to implement their religious beliefs into law, the Politico-Christian Right has continuously--by big$$$ financial support and by touting its voting bloc--increased its control over the Republican Party.

It does not take a history major to realize that these tactics used by the Politico-Christian Right to manipulate its followers are the same tactics used by Hitler in Nazi Germany. It should come to no surprise, then, to learn that Paul Weyrich has worked closely over the years with a convicted Nazi war criminal.

Honor the dead by truth said...
Right, Anthony.

Why were the taliban meeting in Texas, I believe, in July '01 about a pipeline?

I don't know, honor the dead by truth. Why were the taliban meeting in texas about a pipeline?

You'll have to help me out here.

It's taken me five years to work out what the belated American involvement in Yugolsavia in the 1990s, 9/11, the war in Afghanistan, then Iraq, the murder of Dr David Kelley, the London 7/7 bombings, the “accidental” killing of Carlos Menezes, and now the US naval exercises going on off the Iranian coast are all about.

Do you remember how the Americans sat on their hands for years while the Serbs slaughtered Bosnians and Kosovans? Basically, they found that they could not get enough oil through the Dardanelles by ship quickly enough, so they tried to get China-sponsored Albania to let them build a pipeline across Albania to the Adriatic. China-sponsored Albania refused. So they decided they had to weigh in Yugoslavia to make it safe for them to build the line across Serbia. And for good measure they accidentally on purpose bombed the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade to express their disappointment.

Most of the world’s oil lies under lands occupies by Muslims. The west wants to get its hands on that oil. In order to do so, it must go to war against unfriendly Muslim lands. In order to go to war it has to have a pretext. Hence 9/11, and the fable that this vile deed was masterminded by a man hiding in a cave in Afghanistan and carried out by a few Arabs with boxcutters.

And, despite the fact that there is no link between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda, we all fell for it.

So the Americans first went in to Afghanistan ostensibly to catch Osama bin Laden, couldn’t find him (unsurprisingly, since he isn’t in Afghanistan), but in reality to make sure that Afghanistan is safe for their oil line from the central asian oil fields, and rounded up a few Muslims who were there, in some caes, because they were volunteers for Muslim charities, and locked them up in Guantanamo Bay in order to make it appear that they were getting somewhere in the so-called “war against terror”, which, incidentally, is being used also to justify the tearing up of Magna Carta, Habeas Corpus and the Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, Dr David Kelly was found dead and it was made out that he had committed suicide. The world’s leading expert on chemical and biological WMDs does not commit suicide by cutting his wrist, and in any case it’s impossible to kill yourself by this method except in a hot bath. The slash to his wrist was made to disguise the hole left by the injection of the substance used to kill him.

Then there were the London bombing, a false flag operation like 9/11. Having already begun to look into 9/11, I knew almost straight away that what we were being told in the press was a pack of lies. Suicide bombers don’t strap themselves to the underside of underground (that’s subway in American English) railway carriages. And, as on 9/11 there was, by “amazing coincidence”, a terrorist attack drill on that very day in that very place. Funny, also, how Netanyahu, who was in London that day, got a call from his friends at Mossad, warning him to stay in his hotel and not go to a place near where one of the bombs eventually went off on the morning of 7/7. Sinister also was Giuliani’s presence in London at the same time. He went on the telly later that day with some guff about Londoners exhibiting the spirit of the Blitz.

Then a few days later, that poor SOB Carlos Menezes gets shot in very suspicious circumstances. The police said that he had been mistakenly identified as a suicide bomber and they killed him to prevent him from letting off a bomb. Bull. They killed him deliberately in order to silence him. I don’t know what he knew, or who he was going to go with his knowledge, but it is highly likely he went to a Fleet Street news editor, the editor happened to be in the pay of MI6, the editor went to MI6, and they executed him.

At the moment, the US navy is carrying out naval exercises off the Iranian coast with the intention of provoking the Iranians to attack them Gulf of Tonkin style and use this as a pretext for attacking Iran. A few days ago, I read a story about the US government’s intention of carrying out a false flag operation against the USS Enterprise, the oldest nuclear power aircraft carrier in the US Navy which is due to be de-commissioned in a few years’ time.

It would also constitute a wonderful “October surprise” to rally support for the GOP in the forthcoming Congressional elections which I’ll be following with keen interest.

So, you see, honor the dead by truth, I’ve been a bit slow here, and I can’t help you out on the pipeline one unless you give me a bit more information.

Public Law 109-364, or the "John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007" (H.R.5122) (2), which was signed by the commander in chief on October 17th, 2006, in a private Oval Office ceremony, allows the President to declare a "public emergency" and station troops anywhere in America and take control of state-based National Guard units without the consent of the governor or local authorities, in order to "suppress public disorder."

For the current President, "enforcement of the laws to restore public order" means to commandeer guardsmen from any state, over the objections of local governmental, military and local police entities; ship them off to another state; conscript them in a law enforcement mode; and set them loose against "disorderly" citizenry - protesters, possibly, or those who object to forced vaccinations and quarantines in the event of a bio-terror event.

Is Bush planning some more chaos for this country? Hasn't he and his "friends" done enough to this country and the world? IS THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE NOW?? DOES BUSHCO. HAVE SECRETS THEY NEED TO KEEP HIDDEN?

BERNE - in the CIA affair the Federal Prosecutor's Office crushing proofs are present. Now the Upper House of Parliament must decide whether it explains the CIA agent Tom as the unwanted person.

Yesterday the crucial break-through succeeded to the Federal Prosecutor's Office BA. This after it two days long the CIA informants Peter* and a further witness asked. “The intensively transacted determinations confirmed, say the existing suspicious factors” to BA-spokeswoman Jean-nice Balmer to it.

Bush Signs Bill Enabling Martial Law (apparently he signed this on October 17) Maybe this is part of why he seems so concerned about the election. Has anyone else seen this?

Also, http://www.rawstory.com/showarticle.php?src=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mediatransparency.org%2Fstory.php%3FstoryID%3D156 Seems to be lots of swiftboating money pouring into these campaigns. And finally, good old Diebold. I will try to find the link again and post it, or maybe someone else has it, but what percentage of American votes are being cast electronically this year? On a more cheerful note, the sun is shining gloriously in my part of the world today, and I hope it is in yours, too.

After they call Martial Law, the DHS trucks will roll to pick up those designated as "Enemy Combatants" and taken to an Internment Camp for free labor and exploitation.

They're as transparent as a plain bagel...

quote from Article on Slashdot

"In a stealth maneuver, President Bush has signed into law a provision which, according to Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont), will actually encourage the President to declare federal martial law. It does so by revising the Insurrection Act, a set of laws that limits the President's ability to deploy troops within the United States. The Insurrection Act (10 U.S.C.331 -335) has historically, along with the Posse Comitatus Act (18 U.S.C.1385), helped to enforce strict prohibitions on military involvement in domestic law enforcement. With one cloaked swipe of his pen, Bush is seeking to undo those prohibitions."

I guess when you live in a city infamous for vampire stories this sort of thing is to be expected:

In recent days, New Orleans has been riveted by an all-too-true tale of tragedy: A man chopped up his girlfriend and cooked her head and legs in a French Quarter garret above a voodoo temple earlier this month before leaping to his death. It is one the ghastliest cases ever in a city drawn to the morbid.

In just about any other city, the spot where such horror took place might lie empty for years, regarded as cursed. But Midge Jones, a cemetery guide and enthusiast of the 19th-century voodoo queen Marie Laveau, said he has already inquired about renting the one-bedroom 1829 apartment, still cordoned off as a crime scene.

No, the guy was a former Iraq military vet that didn't understand why he didn't have 'remorse' for killing and hacking his girlfriend's body up. So he jumped off a building. PTSD maybe, no voodoo unless it is some kind of weapon used against the American citizens we don't know about yet.

GEF @ 12:14 I expected it too. The fact that it was not reported in the MSM is probably a really good indicator of how embedded our media is in the machinations of this administration. They are part of it and perhaps actively colluding? We will all die for one reason or another, but I would prefer not to die in a work camp somewhere. I also saw that Bush is now actively campaigning in more open settings. He apparently packed a high school gymnasium in southern Indiana with a few thousand enthusiastic supporters, and cheerled them in rousing style. I believe he will make about 4 more such stops. Maybe he is activating his minions and preparing his November surprise. Ugh! Well, back to the sunshine.

"A Bush opponent, Carl Rising-Moore of Crawford, Texas, heckled the line of supporters yesterday morning, calling on security officers to arrest the president for war crimes when he arrived and telling those in line that the United States needs to pull out of Iraq.

He got boos from the crowd and eventually officers surrounded him, asking him to leave but not forcing him to.

Inside, a few Bush opponents yelled during the speech, jeering the president and taunting the crowd. "Bring home the troops," one yelled. "Leave Iraq," said another. "

Bush and his ilk use the same tactics that child abusers, wife (and husband) batters use, bullies, dictators and anyone that is a coward deep in their soul uses...FEAR AND FORCE. They are master manipulators to get their way, only their way.

They want to control everyone because they feel so damn lousy about their own selves. They will suck the soul out of you just to pump themselves up so they can feel good. As you become less and less a person...they lose interest and move on to their next victim. People need to stop enabling this 'rise of the narcissist pedophiles, crooks, liars, nazis and so on'...chances are someone bailed them out all their lives and they cannot handle the truth about themselves.

Kentucky Woman,

Thanks, it's good to know that people protesting were there and not quiet. The article I read minimized the protesting and indicated the people inside the gymnasium who began chanting about getting us out of Iraq were shouted down by Bush supporters. Carl Rising-Moore is a hero, but he would never claim that status for himself. I believe he would say he is simply doing his duty as a citizen to speak out. And boy do I wish I were in the Caribbean. Hey S-Q,

There is a good movie that came out and deals with the personal aftermath soldiers have to deal with and the fact that the very same people who sent them through this ordeal will leave them behind once they've served their purpose... "The Ground Truth"

Boston Globe review:

The “Truth” hurts. In “The Ground Truth,” veterans of the war in Iraq describe the conflict in their own words, and they will move you to pity and awe. In this acclaimed documentary, director Patricia Foulkrod has assembled a powerful, impossible-to-ignore chorus of veterans and their loved ones.

Beginning with what many speakers describe as deceptive recruiting techniques and concluding with the government’s alleged attempt to avoid paying for postwar benefits and health care, the film paints a devastating portrait of the war and the wrenching plight of the men and women serving in it.

Contrary to images depicted in such films as “Top Gun,” these men and women have come back from combat disillusioned and depressed, some of them horribly maimed and disabled, many suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Out of the public gaze, high-profile politicians like Vice-President Dick Cheney rub their hands with antiseptic gel provided by an aide. Avoiding the germs of the public has become so common that now aides ensure people who greet their favourite candidate use Purell too.

Even President George Bush is reported to use the antiseptic, which claims to kill '99.99 per cent of most common germs that may cause illness'. 'Good stuff, keeps you from getting colds,' Bush told Senator Barack Obama, at a White House encounter last year, after which Obama too started using Purell. Other prominent figures spotted using the gel include former US President Bill Clinton (during his 1992 presidential campaign after eating a pie with dirty hands); and Arizona's Republican Senator John McCain, (after observing former presidential hopeful Bob Dole's excessive use of it).

But not every US politician is happy about the practice. New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson said it was 'condescending to the voters'.

And let's remember something else Cheney was up to that Spring: not only was he supposedly coordinating federal preparedness against a terrorist attack, he was also heading the task force to craft a new American energy strategy, one which had dramatic implications for US military policy.

A busy man. Very busy the morning of September 11, monitoring multiple wargames, including live-fly simulations of hijackings, which taxed and confused resources available to intercept the genuine hijacked aircraft.

Just doing his job.

Cheney ever go to Ground Zero much? Or did he know how dangerous it was to breathe the toxic dust mixed with his victims?

Thanks for that one, it almost made be laugh it wasn't so sad and stupid because Humans (well we migth exclude Cheney from that description) shake hands for the very reason of exchanging gems. It's a way for our immune system to get introduced to very small amounts of unknown bacteria/gems and develop resistance/antidote in order to have the white army ready and poised in case of a "big bug" attack.

Using antibacterial gel defies the purpose of the handshake so why not stop doing it altogether, in any case I believe many wouldn't mind not having to shake hands with them anyhow...

HL0610/S00291.htm

Six months later, a young enlisted man, Spec. 4 Tom Glen, sent a letter to Gen. Creighton Abrams, commander of U.S. forces in Vietnam. Without specifically mentioning My Lai, Glen said that murder had become a routine part of Americal operations. The letter was shunted over to Americal Division, and then to the office of the same officer who had been leading the South Vietnamese arson campaign five years earlier, since promoted to major. He was now the deputy assistant chief of staff of the division - a functionary who was directed to craft a response to this report of widespread atrocities against Vietnamese civilians.

"In direct refutation of this portrayal," wrote the officer dismissively and with no investigation whatsoever, "is the fact that relations between Americal soldiers and the Vietnamese people are excellent." Perhaps he believed that those killed were MAMs, and therefore outside the protection of the Geneva Conventions and international law.

That officer was Colin Powell.

I don't think people remember how much the public (and our own troops) were duped by Bush 41 and Powell in Desert Storm.
(But this is about Rumsfeld anyway. All of them have blood dripping from their hands. Was 9/11 worth it?)

Interestingly, Rumsfeld publicly supported Richard Nixon on the continuation of the Vietnam occupation and Nixon's murderous bombing campaigns, but behind the scenes he was considered an administration "dove." Rumsfeld confided his misgivings to his congressional buddy Robert Ellsworth, who would later recount: "[Rumsfeld] could see that we were not figuring out a strategy to win in Vietnam.... Neither could we figure out a strategy to withdraw. And it was very frustrating." The U.S. could not win, and it could not leave!

BLOOD FLOWS IN THE STREETS OF IRAQ LIKE DRUGS OUT OF AFGHANISTAN AND MONEY OUT OF WASHINGTON!!

This President and his administration show a flagrant disregard for the constitution of our country’s and a complete lack of understanding of our values. We need to send representative who will not follow this leader, but will, instead, manage him until he leaves office.

This American will use her freedom of speech (while I still have it) until our representatives produce a solution. At a salary of approximately 165,000 per year for our representatives I want results!

Every time your candidate is quoted discussing Hillary’s looks, something equally trivial, or with a misleading negative statement, go to Google or Yahoo and e-mail the video "Loading Zone" to their office. Only we can stop the senseless murder of innocent Iraqis. We need to roll up our sleeves, reluctantly or not, and get done what we started so we can reverse the damage we have done in this misguided war, and stop the humanitarian crisis we have started, when we got sidetracked from our mission to bring to justice the culprits of the September 11, 2001 attack on America. more

LONDON - A humanitarian group called Monday for government regulation of private security companies in combat zones, saying "mercenaries" often operate with impunity in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The London-based War on Want delivered a list of recommended regulations for the private security industry to Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett, calling for increased scrutiny of allegations of human rights abuses by private security staff.

The demand comes as a conference of British defense firms working in Iraq and Afghanistan was set to open Monday in London.

Both the British government and private security companies agree that regulation is needed. But the companies say an independent ombudsman - rather than government regulation - would be more effective.

Americans should be wondering about these private companies for the sake of our troops and innocent Iraqis. They certainly get paid more than our troops and cause many problems for them.

THE American pornography business is growing so fast that for the first time in a decade it is attracting the unwelcome attention of the White House and federal prosecutors.

When George Bush entered the Oval Office in 2001 he accused his predecessor Bill Clinton of being “soft on porn” and vowed to crack down on an industry that was generating $9.8 billion (£5.2 billion) a year. But anti-porn campaigners in Bush’s own party say that since then the president has been distracted by the war on terror and has done little.

Thanks in part to a new generation of “crossover” stars such as Jenna Jameson, who appears in both sex videos and the book charts with her bestseller How to Make Love Like a Porn Star, industry earnings have risen to more than $12 billion a year. Top producers such as the Private Media Group are even listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

He was the White House Senior Assistant to Daddy Gerbil. He currently serves as National Finance Co-Chairman for The Republican Governor’s Association and has served in the same capacity in Nevada for President George W. Bush. Connections to the Gerbil and his daddy. Nevada is needed to be a red state and Rogich is a powerful figure in Nevada. And yes, indeed, this is a coverup. But, the gerbil put certain powerful people who is in his base to continue the total GOP control of Congress and politicans for the gerbil's hidden agenda!

Final note:

I hope Fitz will crossexamine the smurf about his career as an attorney and his high profile case of Marc Rich. Since the smurf is claiming memory loss, I hope Fitz asked the smurf about his 1992 draft of Defense Planning Guidance (DPG) when he worked under Daddy Gerbil. The smurf seemed to be sharp as a cookie prior to the leak case especially when he drafted the DPG.

Also, here is gotcha moment!

The Post reports that "Loftus was completely caught off guard by Fitzgerald, creating some very awkward silences in the courtroom."
"One of those moments came when Loftus insisted that she had never met Fitzgerald," the article continues. "He then reminded her that he had cross-examined her before, when she was an expert defense witness and he was a prosecutor in the U.S. attorney's office in New York."

Loftus swallowed the same memory loss pill as he smurf! Cheers, Fitz!

If Libby says his memory lost has been a problem for many years Rich might want to appeal on the grounds of his attorney being incompetent. Then we have his involvement in the Iraq invasion. Was Libby having those memory lost problems while making decisions of our country invading Afghan/Iraq. Did he send our troops to die based his lost memory of important information. Libby's problems might be bigger then the CIA Leak Case if he continues this defense.
Oh I did read about the little angel and he kicked butt.

I am passing along very belated condolences to the Rugby Man on the loss of the Mets to the Cardinals. At least the soccer hooligans, I mean Tigers fans, did not get another chance to burn down Detroit.

For any Cubs fans out there, how does it feel to have both your arch rivals, the Sox and the Cardinals, winning back-to-back? At least next year Cubs fans will get to watch Lou 'Anger Mismanagement' Pinella in action.

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Six new samples of toxic E. coli bacteria matching the strain in tainted spinach that killed three Americans and sickened 200 have been found on a California ranch, a state health official said on Thursday.

Investigators have now discovered a total of nine samples of the matching E. coli 0157:H7 strain on the ranch where the spinach was raised, Kevin Reilly, a deputy director with the California Department of Health Services, told reporters during a telephone conference call.

lieberman_says_potential_for_
leadership_role_helps_candidacy/

HARTFORD, Conn. --Sen. Joe Lieberman says the likelihood that he would take a leadership role if the Democrats take control of the Senate on Nov. 7 is helping him in his race against the endorsed Democrat in Connecticut.

"People are reading," Lieberman said after attending Sunday services at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Hartford. "They see that there's a chance that Democrats might control and they know that if that happens, that I would be a committee chair and also would be in the majority."

LIEberman needs to take a hike, damn war-monger.

No one in any of the branches of government runs a physical risk to themselves by entering a war with Iraq, and we can bet that none of their family members are at risk, either. That is, until the next "terrorist" attack. I put "terrorist" in quotes because its definition is subjective, and I myself used to be in the Marine Corps, part of the most powerful "terrorist" organization on the planet: the U.S. government. Of course, we never call our operations "terrorism" because every operation is considered legitimate to us. When found guilty by the World Court for violence in Nicaragua, we ignore the decision. Too bad the nations we hurt can't just ignore what we do to them. When the planet condemns us for killing between 2,500-4,000 people in Panama, we're too busy planning the next invasion of a country that can't fight back. --more

Truth shouldn't be so shameful to a country, especially when the country "judges" others so harshly. Stop the war profiters and change U.S. policies.
