George Allen - Truth Is Not An Option...

Senator Passes On Disclosing Stock Options

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - For the past five years, Sen. George Allen, has failed to tell Congress about stock options he got for his work as a director of a high-tech company. The Virginia Republican also asked the Army to help another business that gave him similar options.

Congressional rules require senators to disclose to the Senate all deferred compensation, such as stock options. The rules also urge senators to avoid taking any official action that could benefit them financially or appear to do so. <more>

Just say "No, thank you!" to graft.

It is interesting that Allen breaks the Senator rules in stock option and ethics and Frist violate inside trading and Martha Stewart goes to prison are "illegally" pulling own her own money ($200,000) in IMClone stock.. what a bunch if crooks! I guess Martha wasn't with the right people and she was too high up financially in the big boys world..

All,

There's Republicans out there that are just as angry as the Democrats AND Independents at what these criminals have done to our Nation and our Constitution in the name of national security.

For example: The Security Moms are so mad that they have a mean eye twitch that won't quit and NASCAR Dads wanta hang the GOP for that Gas Swindle that they let the Oil Companies pull on all of us this summer..

Everyone is on the same page on this:
"Throw out the GOP criminal incumbents in Nov..."

I'm not afraid and I'm beyond the hate part anyway. I pity these people with the black souls. (well, I strongly dislike them for what they do to human beings and manipulate others to do.)

I think there are a lot of innocent people being blamed for things they didn't do or were set up as patsies.

I agree with you GEF. There are as many GOP voters and constituents as angry as the Democrats and other political party. This is not just a GOP issue. This is an Administration issue in which the Gerbil and company had divided this country: church vs. state. The Gerbil has created the us against them mentality. For 5 years, the GOP party re-created a new genre of GOP party.. I have just as many GOP friends that are just as outrage at their own parry, Foleygate, the gerbil and direction in this country. But, I have to agree with Pelosi: Drain the Swamp!

As reports circulate of a sharp debate within the White House over possible US military action against Iran and its nuclear enrichment facilities, The Nation has learned that the Bush Administration and the Pentagon have moved up the deployment of a major "strike group" of ships, including the nuclear aircraft carrier Eisenhower as well as a cruiser, destroyer, frigate, submarine escort and supply ship, to head for the Persian Gulf, just off Iran's western coast. This information follows a report in the current issue of Time magazine, both online and in print, that a group of ships capable of mining harbors has received orders to be ready to sail for the Persian Gulf by October 1.

RR and all,

Go to the CloakandDagger.de and listen to the Captain May recording. It is about Iran, and the guys on the above ship warning about impending attack.

It's all about the oil and money...
This is an older article but still the same info:

The majority of Iran's crude oil is located in Khuzestan, which borders Iraq and the Persian Gulf which is the home to two of Iran's largest untapped oil fields -- Yadavaran and Azadegan. So it really shouldn't be a surprise that the oil boys in Washington want dibs on Iran's oil-rich land.

But there's a problem, and it could be a substantial glitch in the neo-con's agenda if Iran's nuclear dabbling is taken before the Security Council where it may well be vetoed by China and Russia. The only other alternative if the Council were to veto Iran sanctions would be to invade.

The Chinese government already has its eye on Yadavaran. The Chinese state oil company China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation has a 50 percent stake in the vast Yadavaran oil field.

Russia too has a stake in Iran's oil-rich economy. In 2003 Russia sought to diversify its oil procurement and distribution methods by shipping Russian crude to Iran, where it is was refined for domestic consumption. In return, Iran now delivers an equivalent amount of oil to Russia. As the Asia Times explained in February 2003, ìThis arrangement will make Russian oil available to non-European buyers at a competitive price by sharply decreasing the cost of exports currently done by oil tankers loaded at Russia's Black Sea ports...

Look Ken Lay's on the island living large. Look for more scandals to come out with in the 4 weeks left. Roger you must understand it's not Republicans it's just right now the bad ones are out numbering the good. The Republican people are good people and they shouldn't be judged by the low life's that are crooks. Yes Dems aren't all good either it's just that for 5 years a group of corrupt GOP leaders decided to rob the US Treasury and a few low life's like Foley were allowed to do their sick stuff just for the votes. So don't look at Republicans look at the few that are in the group of corruption.

Huffington Post
A Republican congressman knew of disgraced former representative Mark Foley's inappropriate Internet exchanges as far back as 2000 and personally confronted Foley about his communications.

A spokeswoman for Rep. Jim Kolbe (R-Ariz.) confirmed yesterday that a former page showed the congressman Internet messages that had made the youth feel uncomfortable with the direction Foley (R-Fla.) was taking their e-mail relationship. Last week, when the Foley matter erupted, a Kolbe staff member suggested to the former page that he take the matter to the clerk of the House, Karen Haas, said Kolbe's press secretary, Korenna Cline.

FORTUNE Magazine) – Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld rarely keeps his opinions to himself. He tends not to compromise with his enemies. And he clearly disdains the communist regime in North Korea. So it's surprising that there is no clear public record of his views on the controversial 1994 deal in which the U.S. agreed to provide North Korea with two light-water nuclear reactors in exchange for Pyongyang ending its nuclear weapons program. What's even more surprising about Rumsfeld's silence is that he sat on the board of the company that won a $200 million contract to provide the design and key components for the reactors.

Indian farmers started using Monsanto's GM seeds, then were hit with drought that ruined their crops. The final kicker; the seeds saved from those withered crops won't reproduce, made sterile by the "Terminator Gene" Monsanto builds into them. The farmers have nothing with which to try to rebuild their farms next season.

The United States Government has been financing research on a genetic engineering technology which, when commercialized, will give its owners the power to control the food seed of entire nations or regions. The Government has been working quietly on this technology since 1983. Now, the little-known company that has been working in this genetic research with the Government’s US Department of Agriculture-- Delta & Pine Land-- is about to become part of the world’s largest supplier of patented genetically-modified seeds (GMO), Monsanto Corporation of St. Louis, Missouri.

I had hoped this was just one of those stories..doesn't look like it. Does anyone realize what this means? Millions of starving people or livestock. The government did this. Where is the FBI now?
