..what happened was, FBI had this information since 1997. In 1999, the Clinton Administration actually asked the Department of Justice to appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate Hastert, and certain other elected officials that were not named in this (VF) article, to be investigated formally. And the Department of Justice actually went about appointing this prosecutor, but after the Administration changed they quashed that investigation and they closed it despite the fact they had all sorts of evidence, again I'm talking about wiretaps, documents- paper documents- that was highly explosive and could have been easily used to indict the Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert. That investigation was closed in 2001, and this was around the time I started reporting my cases to the Congress."
Get this...a lot of the pro border fence immigration voters are going to be not so happy when they find out:
In border fence’s path, legislative roadblocks
"No sooner did Congress authorize construction of a 700-mile fence on the U.S.-Mexico border last week than lawmakers rushed to approve separate legislation that ensures it will never be built, at least not as advertised, according to Republican lawmakers and immigration experts.
GOP leaders have singled out the fence as one of the primary accomplishments of the recently completed session. Many lawmakers plan to highlight their $1.2 billion down payment on its construction as they campaign in the weeks before the midterm elections.
But shortly before recessing late Friday, the House and Senate gave the Bush administration leeway to distribute the money to a combination of projects -- not just the physical barrier along the southern border. The funds may also be spent on roads, technology and "tactical infrastructure" to support the Department of Homeland Security's preferred option of a "virtual fence.""
The biggest joke is Michael Incompetent Chertoff is in charge of these funds!!! Personally, I don't believe a fence is the way to go...but to look at these slimy lawmakers actions make me sick.

House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi is thinking 100 hours, time enough, she says, to begin to "drain the swamp" after more than a decade of Republican rule.

Hastert will help the GOP lose the election. Hastert isn't Foley but he did nothing to stop the attacks. In some ways he's worse then Foley. It's like knowing children are being attacked and knowing you can stop it but you don't. How many kids could have been saved if he only put a stop to Foley. A true Christian would never look at him the same way. I wonder if he would have stopped Foley if one of his kids was a page.

- I grew up in Flatbush, kept my nose clean, went to law school. Now that I am in Chicago and D.C. I have found that the rampant graft and corruption to be a travesty - a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham.

And Hastert I call into question your "work as a coach"- since he covered for Foley.
James Baker III, has a book out and Harry the ass-kisser and cover-up reporter interviewed this piece of shit this morning.
"My friend George Bush. Manipulate the supreme court?" How about bribe it, how about threatening Gore's family?
Baker, controlling the oil fields, controlling the puppet strings.
