As far as Lay not being dead or living on an island somewhere, all I can say is follow the money and watch Lay's wife's moves on her financial decisions since she is the main beneficiary to her husband's estate. I would really be curious to look at the financial statements of Northern Trust in Chicago and other banks that were financially connected to Enron. But, it leaves alot of questions unanswered to Lay's death and the man who was a witness in the NatWest/Enron case who mysteriously died and his death was ruled as a suicide.

He had watched "Hardball" until 2 a.m. and somehow tracked me down in my hotel room. The person he could not track down was the state’s lame duck senator, Joseph Lieberman—a fact for which he blasted Lieberman once we were on air. He told me that Joe had time for "GMA" and "Today," but not for the hometown media. He said this is what’s been wrong with Lieberman for years—he’s a national senator playing to his friends in Washington and New York, but too self-important for the people who made him a senator.

Randy Stapilus, veteran political reporter, has an interesting post at Ridenbaugh Press, comparing the current state of rural America to the populist revolt at the turn of the last century.
A century and more ago, farmers and the other people of rural communities were in an almost riotous protest. They were being abused by powerful interests and social forces, these things could be addressed by politics, and they knew it, and they acted accordingly. They formed political parties, they did battle within political parties, they got leaders of major political parties (William Jennings Bryan, for one) to pay attention and take up their cause. They got radical and they got uppity. And partly as a result, their lot gradually improved in the early 20th century.
Much of rural America in a condition no less dire today, and a good many of the reasons are external and attributable to decisions made by politicians and leaders of various powerful interests. And where is the protest today in rural America?

As a former professor of political science, I completely agreed with Tully on the illegality of a war of aggression against a country that posed no threat to the United States. Good job Fitzgerald! update and cure for decacerma- I'm putting this up because I don't want fellow fitzgeraldites getting illnesses that these buggers can bring on. I took a week to try to find something quicker- but no- it all depends on how many mites you have, if your "mite count" is low and you just see "zits" or weird lumps on scalp that itch- you need the canadian product Face Doctor RX. Follow directions on box. Kleen Free baths if you have suffered for years from these symptoms and clean your house, put in laundry and treat your cat. Also use Colon Clense if you have had them for years and been untreated properly by doctors. It is very important because if you don't take care of these mites they can cause primary infections to become far more serious than they should be. We had a case in my town where a woman had a manifold crush her leg, and the wound would not heal, these mites are the reason for wound healing to fail because they have become antibiotic resistant. The young woman is dead because the family wouldn't listen to me about mites interfereing with wound healing. The pharmacuetical companies will give you a pesticide which will destroy your liver. That is not a cure. Skin so Soft by avon will keep them off of you, and I know all this has nothing to do with politics, but this issue should have been dealt with by somebody in power because this isn't like scabies where you pick them up from a dirty hotel room etc. Hospitals should be cleaning with Kleen Free, bleach doesn't kill these mites, radiation treatment only makes you not feel them. Keeping your thyroid healthy is essential. As we continue to screw up our planet, parasites like this will become more virulent,and just like with the flea and the bubonic plague, a parasite can carry it's own parasite that causes a disease. Everyone knows that we are at the highest population level ever, and the ozone layer depletion has to have something to do with these new problems. If you have the mites in your eyes, which cause a blackish or darkening around the eye, please do something soon.
There are going to be more of these weird diseases coming in the future, and if we keep an open mind and continue to treat them, we will get through this to see better days.
Roger- did you look up info about the difference between black vs white magic witchcraft? The hand sign that the Bush family uses is not a Satanic sign, but an old pagan sign meaning to invoke the God of the Hunt, or Pan, or the Green God of the Hunt. It is black witchcraft because no one needs to hunt and kill anymore since we are trying to be a civilized society.
