There are still plenty of honest folk in government willing to point out the many crimes they see. Too bad they don't work at the White House. Or do they?

I am open to new info, thanks-interesting topic.

I am also looking for a cure for injustice obsession. But me thinks that will rest with the prosecutor...

The newly "discovered" emails are going to send Big Fat Dick Cheney down!
To where, God only knows...

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening folks!

I finally got on the computer. I am experiencing computer problems but will be resolved next week. I got a message from a fellow bloggers asking: "Where is Biloxi?" That is what is going on.

Now, it sounds that the stones are being unturned in this case. 250 explosive emails? Huh? And the Cheney was the leader of the band. Well, all I can say, especially to Fitz, is to go after Cheney first before Rove. Cheney is more weak than Rove. Cheney's weakness is that he acts on emotion rather than logic. But, Cheney's strength is that he is a smart business man. With the exposure from truthout.org of the secret meeting between Hadley, the little soldier, Rove, and Cheney, that told you, folks, what kind of mindset of Cheney(eg. the choice words that he had about Wilson). And if Cheney said anything emotional in that email due to anger toward Mr. Wilson, Cheney surely expressed his emotions verbally on paper as well as in person. On the other hand, Rove is very logical rather than emotional. That is why Mary Carey, stripper, wanted to meet Rove at the fundraiser at the White House. She said that she wanted to speak to the man with power. Rove is more powerful than Cheney and Bush (of course, Bushdoesn't have business sense,. After all, he let 3 businesses go down the drain in Texas). The only way that Fitz can break Rove if there is a strong eyewitness or eyewitnesses that spill the beans or Cheney fesses up. I am sure that Fitz will make sure that any of those emails weren't doctored. He probably has an expert that will comb through those emails. But, it sounds that the focus is on Cheney first. And noticed that Cheney has not been seen. The man is scared. As far as the little soldier, well, Irve did tell the truth that he had orders by Cheney. But, the only problem that he lied to Fitz. Irve doesn't understand that his charge by Fitz has nothing to do with his confession about Cheney. Remember, folks, in order to get number 1 is to get number 2 person. Cheney will get caught. It is the matter of time or if his heart gives out. You know that he is on borrowed time. And Rove will get caught. The truth will unravel. To be honest, when the whole truth finally come out about the Bush Administration, there are going to be some very angry people who were or are affected by the Adminstrations' corruption. And many of the American people will not be too willing to forgive.

Hats off the Fitz and his staff for all of their hard work on this differcult and intriguing case! I bet Fitz feel alot better physically and emotionally knowing that the three amigos (little soldier, the hunting man, and Turd Blossom) will be brought to justice. And I am not forgetting the mangler-in-chief. Bush, Laura, and Barney the dog are going have to find another planet to live on after this case is finally revealed.

Or the government of Israel...there must be public trials at the ICC of these men. Bush, Andrew Card and all the rest can witness their trials for being used by them....but there must be public TRIALS of Cheney and all his bosses.

And of little Soldier Libby and Big Soldier Sharansky and lets see........Rove for agreeing to this BS and letting Ledeen take over his body.....Oh Rove will hit rock bottom once I'm done.

We'll get that once Wolf Blitzer is arrested and they are out of there....those people are who have twisted the media's arms.

They won't report on anything any longer unless it is heavily damaging to someone that their people don't like....including Bush.

ENRON will come back like a smoldering puss.....Berkowitz has just about convicted Ken Lay so some of these media moguls will be laid bare.

Anon 7:50 pm, (demanding public trials at the ICC)

I take it you’re referring to the International Criminal Court in De Hague.

I'm afraid that won’t be possible. The court only has jurisdiction over countries that are party members of the "Roman Statute" and guess what? The US ain’t!

(In May 2002 President George W. Bush, informed the UN that the United States would not ratify the agreement, terminating the effect of Clinton’s signature.)

Peculiar considering the US having introduced the very idea of it. It’s a bit like judge but don’t be judged.

In any case the ICC is complementary to national courts, so put your faith in Mr. PJF.
He’ll make sure Justice is served.

The American people can understand this:

Martha served time for lying to investigators. They couldn't prove the insider trading rap. But they got her for lying about the trades. Like her or not, she took her lumps like a mensch. If Dick Cheney, who, evidently is not a mensch and hides behind skirts, walks for doing essentially the same thing--lying to investigators--then we have two systems of justice. And it's not broken down into rich and poor. It's broken down into powerful and impotent.

Then we cease to live in a republic based on the rule of law, but rather we live under tyranny based on political will and whim. Some say we are already there. I think perhaps we have one foot in each world and we may be witnessing the tipping point.

Orate pro nobis,

Saint Brigid

We'll get him in national court and we'll force them into the Hague anyway....

All we have to do is seize their offices and they have no choice....whether the US is part of the ICC currently or not.

Saint Brigid,

Indeed, it's called a Bannana Republic.

Are we there yet? If nobody else pays for these crimes against humanity soon, then we will know for sure.

If it comes to seizing their offices, that means DOJ and the US military are failing in their responsibilities to the Constitution.

Pray it NEVER gets to that level...PEACE, p

I met some of the Vets Against The War during the Nixon days in their DC office and the talk by some turned vehemently to such as enmasse "storming the WH and Congress" (similar to the above comments).

A few days later the office was turned upside down in a break in and many of the files were gone missing.

So watch it, take care now...........

Did the rule of law die in 1913 with the Federal Reserve Act and the 16th "Amendment"? Maybe it was when Lee surrendered to Grant in 1865. Or the French Revolution in 1789. Or in 1535 when St. Thomas More was beheaded. Or when Cain killed Abel.

"Nothing," writes Freeman Tilden, "has been more amply demonstrated during the past three thousand years than this: that the great majority of men do not esteem, or understand, or even desire personal liberty. What they value is the semblance of liberty accompanied by indulgence."

Man's inhumanity to man is older than dirt.

Their day will come. In the mean time, practice, practice, practice.

P, Anon, cjt,

In your head, take your decision about what line you won't cross. Or you won't let them cross. And pray for the strength to follow through when the time comes and you're forced into action.

Let the brutal pictures coming out of Abu Ghraib serve as an important lesson. When you are their prisoner, you become their property, and that makes you their slave. Humiliation. Rape. Torture. Death. You won't be able to buy your way out of it with your mastercard.

St. B,

I've seen DC stadium filled with mostly peaceful protestors held illegally. Many included headbashed helpless hapless beaurocrats and office workers going to lunch or getting off work who had the misfortune of wearing longish hair or beards that May Day. It was a "shut down DC" day if I recall correctly. History shows that one as when the DC Police Dept. and the other LEO agencies had their own riot. It was a general roundup of the suspicious....

All those armored oinkers, gas and police canines in a large force are mild compared to what the future may bring...I'm onto it but not The Bus.

Bluewild,

It's a questionable quote but I still like it. Seems that "lunch" was not yet a word in Franklin's era.

Bluewild,
I'm not sure I understand your question. The more you practice, the better you get--at anything. I am far from perfect.

As far as knowing the future--that is beyond my skill-sets, as the planners say. Only God knows. Personally, I don't know how the world still stands. And yet stand it does.

Consider the following passage from Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged." Perhaps it offers a clue. It's long, but worth it.

“‘But when a society establishes criminals-by-right and looters-by-law–men who use force to seize the wealth of disarmed victims–then money becomes its creators’ avenger. Such looters believe it is safe to rob defenseless men, once they have passed a law to disarm them. But their loot becomes the magnet of other looters, who get it from them as they got it. Then the race goes, not to the ablest at production, but those most ruthless at brutality. When force is the standard, the murderer wins over the pickpocket. And then society vanishes, in a spread of ruins and slaughter.

Do you wish to know whether that day is coming? Watch money. Money is the barometer of a society’s virtue. When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion–when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing–when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favor–when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you–when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice–you may know that you’re society is doomed. Money is so noble a medium that it does not compete with guns and it does not make terms with brutality. It will not permit a country to survive as half-property, half-loot.

“Whenever destroyers appear among men, they start by destroying money, for money is men’s protection and the base of a moral existence. Destroyers seize gold and leave to its owners a counterfeit pile of paper. This kills all objective standards and delivers men into the arbitrary power of an arbitrary setter of values. Gold was objective value, an equivalent of wealth produced. Paper is a mortgage on wealth that does not exist, backed by a gun and aimed at those who are expected to produce it. Paper is a check drawn by legal looters upon an account which is not theirs: upon the virtue of the victims. Watch for the day when it bounces, marked ‘Account overdrawn.’”

They stink, they lie and the American people get that.

Some how Fitz, your team will need to help to paint the picture very clear that the 'lying' begins and ends within this Administration, the most corrupt in our nation's history.

Yes, the more you practice at something the better you get.

Unfortunately, this entire Administration, instead of focusing on 'serving the public' as the 'public servants' they take an oath for,
they are serving themselves via lies, corruption, treason and espionage.

Take them out with the trash Fitz and team.
As the Brits would say, 'its the dogs breakfast'.

Good Riddance to this sham of an Administration toiling on behalf of the American public.

I'm ready for one of those asses to be so brash as to say the US Mint should also be outsourced... perhaps we should look to Halliburton to provide just that answer.

Hmmmm, I'llhave to search to see who's on Kangaroo Court a/k/a the Board and who they're related to.. oh, thats right, 'none of them know Jack'.
Sure. I'm convinced the tentacles of Halliburton extend far and wide and are quite frightening, just like Jack's.
