Good Morning/Afrernoon/Evening, Folks:

Happy Wednesday! Bundle up today! Here is what is going on in the Biloxi goodie bag. When it rains it pours:

1. No wonder Bush wants the port deal to go through.
Administration Failed To Conduct Legally Required Investigation Before Approving UAE Port Deal

http://thinkprogress.org/2006/02/22/legally-required-investigation/

2. I want to ask Bush once again: Where is Osama Bin Laden? After reading this article on raw story, many of the 9/11 victims may be confused or outraged:

CIA agent alleged to have met Bin Laden in July

French report claims terrorist leader stayed in Dubai hospital two months before 9/11.

Bluewild,

Believe or not the Guardian article is from November of 2001. Yes, 2001. And we are now finding this news in 2006? Amazing huh? Regarding your comment on the different articles that I read, I took a speed reading class some time ago. So, I can digest what is important. Secondly, I am sometimes on two different screens on the computer at the same time. So, I can be reading an article and working on something. I am very much multitask person.

CIA agent alleged to have met Bin Laden in July

French report claims terrorist leader stayed in Dubai hospital

Anthony Sampson
Thursday November 1, 2001
The Guardian
Two months before September 11 Osama bin Laden flew to Dubai for 10 days for treatment at the American hospital, where he was visited by the local CIA agent, according to the French newspaper Le Figaro.
The disclosures are known to come from French intelligence which is keen to reveal the ambiguous role of the CIA, and to restrain Washington from extending the war to Iraq and elsewhere.
Bin Laden is reported to have arrived in Dubai on July 4 from Quetta in Pakistan with his own personal doctor, nurse and four bodyguards, to be treated in the urology department. While there he was visited by several members of his family and Saudi personalities, and the CIA.

WASHINGTON, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- U.S. President George Bush says he will veto any congressional attempt to derail a deal allowing a Middle Eastern company to run five major U.S. seaports.

"I want those who are questioning it to step up and explain why

all of a sudden

a Middle Eastern company is held to a different standard than a (British) company," Bush told reporters.

More info from truthout.org on the ties with a member of his cabinet and Bush Adminstration's ties to the port sales. One of the bloggers did mention from Fitz's prior blog that John Snow is connected to this port sale. And he is. From one my comments on Fitz's blog, Getting Warmer, I listed members of Bush's cabinet and ties to different corporation. Snow is one of them. I am wondering what other Bush's agenda will Dubya push that is connected to another cabinet member. And what company connected to that cabinet member will benefit?

Good morning Fitz, SPB & everyone:
Do you believe Bush really didn't know about the port deal until a few days ago and after the deal was done? I find it unreal that 6 of America's ports could be sold without the knowledge of the President! Baffling!

does the petulant King really think the American people will want our ports 'outsourced' to an Arab country while he tries to
use biting comments about his
War on Terror?

He is truly bending on the insanity stance .... watch out -- that may be his 'excuse' come impeachment time.

And for the little ditty on 'Let It Snow' I prefer "Impeach Him, Impeach Him Impeach Him" ..

If you think the port sales is bad enough, now Bush is going after reporters. Bush now says that the U.S. can prosecute reporter for leaks:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/02/21/AR2006022101947_pf.html

And the Pentagon made CBS killed one of a story to be aired. Now, if the Adminstration now controling the media? Here is the story:

CBS Pentagon correspondent David Martin acknowledged Monday that he killed a report about how the U.S. was dealing with Improvised Explosive Devices in Iraq after a senior military officer complained that it contained information useful to the enemy. Martin, writing on the CBS blog Public Eye, said that the report had been scheduled to air as the lead story on the CBS Evening News on Thursday and that he pulled it just one hour before airtime. "Not a good career move," he wrote. Martin further acknowledged that he had set aside other stories at the request of the Pentagon "a number of times over the years, and each time it's turned out that going with the story wouldn't have caused any harm." In the latest case, he said, he concluded that his report "might conceivably be news the enemy could use to make their IEDs more effective. It wasn't clear cut, but it was close enough."

New Jeresy Senator, Jon Corzine is filing a suit to block the transfer of the port operation. New Jersey is fighting this port sale. Also, there is more and more more and more information about the GOP money spending that hurt the American people. Enclosed is a 118 page report (I didn't all of that report. Just basically skim through it) of money that have been wasted and expendures of certain politicans and lawmakers in this circle. That is why our deficit is so high in the trillions. With the cost of everything (Mass, you better get toilet paper quick or the toilet paper may get too expensive like everything else. With high cost lof living, we all may be using sandpaper.) Here is an excerpt of the article and the pdf file. This is very disturbing:

The report delivers a smackdown on major Democratic campaign themes while delicately omitting names: "a corrupt politician who lives on a yacht" (Duke Cunningham, (R-CA), who resigned), "three mysterious Russian industrialists who laundered $1 million to a prominent political leader" (Tom DeLay (R-TX) and "a radical religious anti-gambling activist on the take from the gaming industry" (Ralph Reed).

The little soldier, Irve is fighting back to Fitz. This is, indeed, a brutal battle with Fitz and the little solider over documents. Here an excerpt article from Michael Moore's website on court filing Tuesday's night from Libby's lawyer and Libby's comment to the court. Libby sounds like a baby that needs his pacifier.:

In a court filing late Tuesday night, attorneys for I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby said their client must be given access to large amounts of classified material.

I tend to get between 100 and 200 pages of material a day that I’m supposed to read and understand and I — you know, I start at 6:00 in the morning and I go to 8 or 8:30 at night,” Libby told the grand jury in testimony his lawyers released in their latest filing.
“I can’t possibly recall all the stuff that I think is important, let alone other stuff that I don’t think is as important ... I apologize if there’s some stuff that I remember and some I don’t,” Libby added.

And there you have it from the words of the little soldier. Go Fitz go!

Everybody needs to be prepared because these foolish neocons are going to be spilling all over the woodwork, and now we have prosecutors like Fitzgerald, McNulty and Berkowitz to deal with them all. We will then win but everyone needs to stay focused on the goal.....

Bring down the FIFTH COLUMN

Got anything on neocons? Send it into the DOJ/international police/interpol secret force and everyone else......they need to be dragged out. Make sure the Grand Juries get some power drinks as well, its time to clean out treason.....

Special Prosecutor Biloxi,

Lawyers say AIPAC defendants "reserve" no such defense of their actions

"There plainly is no exemption in the statutes for the press, let alone lobbyists like the defendants," Justice Department lawyers wrote in response to a motion filed last month seeking to dismiss charges against Steven J. Rosen and Keith Weissman, former lobbyists for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

Is this not the same defense little soldier Libby used? Are these spies all going to use the same ridiculous stupid defense? If so, we need to make sure judge walton gets removed....heres to it

The Bush Adminstration is trying to change the rules in their favor. There has been too many people who speaking out against the Adminstration. Bush is desperately trying to change or chip away at the Constitution for the American people. And certain cases or people that are a thorn to the Administration, the Adminstration's attack mode is simply changing the rules to their advantage. Cases such as CIA Leak with Fitz, Enron case with Berkowitz, AIPAC case (as you mention), and DeLay/Abramoff case with Earle, etc are a thorn to the Adminstration. And people such as reporters David Gregory and Helen Thomas, Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore, outspoken lawmakers, etc. are a thorn to the Administration. Yes, by changing the rules in the AIPAC, Bush feels that it will work in his advantage. As for the little soldier, Libby, yes, he is thinking by pulling the "greymail" strategy will pull off because he has not idea what Fitz is doing. But, you are forget something. That the playbook that the Adminstration and Libby are using is the Tricky Dick or the Warergate handbook. What worked in the 1970's will not work in 2006. No one in the Adminstration don't know how to think outside of the box or change their mentality of the past. Fitz is smart enough to know the Adminstration's game. I know that this week has been nothing but "Bush gets away with everything" news blah, blah, blah, but rest assured, a rat sooner or later will need to return to the rathole and then the rat will be caught. I just read on Raw story that Senator Dole (got him out of retirement) is hired to lobby the port deal and Bush is having a GOP meeting with Frist to hold on the port deal. There is a lot of anger and protest from this latest Bush's antics and there has been outbursts from bloggers about this heated issue. Just remember, desperate people do desperate things. A lot of people are now looking at Bush Adminstration for who they really are because Bush is putting the corrupted agenda in our faces. Just hang in there....
