Not bad but the Devil went down to Texas to reward the soul he brought is better. Johnnie Cash had problems but Cheney makes him and others in jail look like saints. Look Cheney has profited from causing so many deaths and greed. All this CIA thing is around Rove/Cheney and these two guys call the shots ( no pun intented ) Bush is just a front man with no brains or power. He's still drinking and his eyes show it.

So far the consensus of the bogosphere, based on the E.O' they've seen is that Cheney had expanded power to classify but not to DE-classify...and never to declassify information from another agency without a review.
Although there may be a loophole there. Liberal Oasis says:
In an emergency, when necessary to respond to an imminent threat to life or in defense of the homeland, the agency head or any designee may authorize the disclosure of classified information to an individual or individuals who are otherwise not eligible for access.
I can't believe that would apply in this case, though.

I agree with you about Bush. He is the front man. Remember when Mary Carey, stripper and wants to run for Lt. Governor in California (California will have problems if this woman is voted in office), attended a Bush fundraiser last year. You probably remembered who Ms. Carey wanted to meet? Of course, she wasn't looking forward to meet the idiot president. She said that she was looking forward to meet the man in power: Rove! Cheney probably see ghosts at night for all the greed and deaths that he caused.
My kids told me to look at the big picture not the one in front of you. Here it goes. All the CIA leaks refer to Rove/Cheney and yes the little soldier Libby. But notice the meeting was not attended by Bush when the plan was layed out. Next Rove was notified of the accidential shooting he gave directions and told Cheney to go to Fox. Help for Katrina victims told by Bush changed the next day. The mistakes Bush has made during his speeches and the information has to wait as he gets direction to answer anything. Another thing that keeps coming up is this word executive pivilege has been tried/used as to cover up the corruption. The way this Administration works every Bush appointee has it when their faced with crimes. Now Cheney can declassify at will and then reclassify. No wonder Fitz can't get an honest answer. Did all the attorneys in the White House go to college or did they do what Bush did buy their degrees?

And yes, Jackie! By not taking a leadership role and relying on his base to do his dirty work, this will be Bush's downfall and legacy. Bush is showing the world his leadership role from all of these latest scandals. That is why the leaders around the world don't respect Bush. Anyone can be given title (like Bush as President) but you cannot be given leadership. Leadership is earned. That is what Bush hasn't earned.

Bluewild Cheney says he can declassify secrets but remember Mrs. Wilson was still active and working undercover in an Iran project. So what he is saying is he declassified an active case putting many lives in danger. It was a bad move on their part to release that information. Now Cheney has to deal with a treason charge as Libby was only charged with obstruction of justice. I think these guys gambled because they thought Fitz would give them the information he has on the CIA leak. Remember they really don't know if he has the missing e-mails. Don't worry these guys are playing with the wrong guy. Fitzgerald is a smart lawyer and his smart, these guys are somewhat clueless or they need to go back to law school for a refresher course in law 101.

Well, Cheney's lies are catching up with him. The diagram of the shooting is wrong. Here is more details:
That diagram has been picked up and faithfully replicated by television and newspapers across the country, including the New York Times this week and by Newsday Thursday.
"The only problem is that the diagram is wrong, by all accounts. It shows Whittington hit on the left side of his face, neck and chest when Cheney, the Kenedy County Sheriff's office and the report itself say the wounds were on the right side."

So we have established the distance of the shot.
Now we wanted to see if we could match the wound penetration. As I already stated the shots at the dummy torso from 90 feet had little to no effect.
Alex then decided to shoot the game hen and the watermelon from 90 feet. The results of these shots were penetrations of 1 to 2 millimeters, this means they were just under the outer layer of skin.
There was also evidence of impacts that bounced off, leaving black smudges on both targets. At shots taken from 30 feet slightly deeper penetrations, but nothing that went passed the most outer layers of the actual meat.
The last shot was taken at the game hen from 15 feet and that shot yielded the kind of results that Mr. Whittington experienced, a tight cluster of pellet hits penetrating into the internal cavities of the body.
