Yes you do little angel and your do a great job. I think your under paid but I guess when we're looking to make sure the Iraq people have job,homes and cell phones you'll have to wait. Now that we're giving the Saudi's the rights to our ports maybe they will help us by paying us. You don't have to explain what you do to anyone your actions speaks for itself. By the way, Libby's defense seems to have fallen apart again......We the People need to take out the trash, get the Grand Jurys working on indicting the mafia.
I think the next defense will be "it was for national security", I wouldn't be surprised they pull out every lie from the hatbox. Smoke 'em in the face & take em to the bottom of the 9th....
and we thank you for working for us, since our Vice-President and his staff seem to work for no one but themselves. This becomes more and more evident as his term(s)go on. There are a lot of government workers who indeed do work for the people with low pay and little thanks. There are also a lot of us out here who genuinely do appreciate those who "work for the people". I really wonder in ten years, just how America will feel about what the Bush II administration has actually done.

Ok Fitz SNAP OUT OF IT. Don't let stuff get to you. You don't owe anyone any explaination for who you work for or how you do your job. Move to another subject. These guys are just trying to get on your nerves and because you don't feel well it working on you. All I read on the web news are lies,blame, memory loss and trying to justify corruption. The media and the little soldier's artorneys are trying to get beneath your skin. We all know that you work for the people. Look at your mission statement from your own blog as well as the mission statement for the DOJ. You don't have to prove that to the fellow bloggers who your are and what your job is nor more nor less. It is your integrity, intellect, hardwork, and honesty as an U.S. Attorney and Special Prosecutor that the media and Libby's attornies are afraid of and challenging. We know that you work hard for your money. Michael Brown surely didn't work hard for his money as the head of FEMA.
So, please snap out of it and don't react to such garbage in the media. Any leader will tell you that you have to expect criticism from people but it is how your handle yourself from that criticism. So, be proactive, Fitz, with your work and not reactive. You will do fine!

I find it amazing that Libby's lawyers are saying that you should be removed from this case because you weren't "properly" confirmed by the Senate and/or President. One question I like to ask the mangler-in-chief or the lame duck prez.: If you are saying that Fitz should be remove from this case, why did you allow a U.S. Attorney (who you have claimed had not properly appointed as the Special Prosecutor) to take on this case since 2003? Is that proper procedure to not check someone's resume? Finally, why, Mr. President, why did you tell the public, after Fitz indicted the little soldier last year, that the "we have to let the prosecutor do his job?" And you know I won't get a straight answer from him!

Memos Detail 74 CIA Landings in Canada

TORONTO (AP) - CIA planes have landed in Canada 74 times since the 9/11 terror attacks, underscoring fears that the United States is ferrying suspected terrorists through its neighboring country en route to foreign prisons for torture, according to newly declassified government documents.
The government memos were released this week under Canada's Access to Information Act. The Associated Press obtained them Thursday from The Canadian Press.
Internal government briefing notes revealed senior intelligence officials from six government agencies, including the Security Intelligence Service, met in late November to discuss the flights.
One memo dated Nov. 28 instructed officials to tell the media that there was ``no credible information to suggest that these planes were used to ferry suspected terrorists to and from Canada, or that illegal activity took place.''

"Special Counsel", isn't that something like "Ambassador without Portfolio", since the Independent Counsel law ended. You get to go wherever the President sends you, and he certainly sent you after the bad guys, or that's what the government he runs did.
Such a lame try. It seems to me the law is being followed, just not the one they want to invoke, the law died a while back.

Excellent work all of you on getting all of that vital "evidence" Libby can not claim possession of. This will seal the case on Cheney, and if they tried to "forge" any emails when you cleaned out the offices Fitz, that's obstruction of justice!

The little soldier may think that he can win the battle, but Fitz will win the war. This will be a long and tough battle for Fitz as well as for the bloggers that continue to support Fitz. But, be patient, folks, the little soldier, Irve, will not win. Truth will prevail. And all of Irve's manipulation to twist the judical system and trying to ruin Fitz' reputation will come back and bite him!

Senior aides had sent the emails in the spring of 2003 related to the leak of covert CIA operative Valerie Plame Wilson, Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald revealed during a federal court hearing Friday.
The emails are said to be explosive, and may prove that Cheney played an active role in the effort to discredit Plame Wilson’s husband, former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, a vocal critic of the Bush administration’s prewar Iraq intelligence, sources close to the investigation said.
Sources close to the probe said the White House “discovered” the emails two weeks ago and turned them over to Fitzgerald last week. The sources added that the emails could prove that Cheney lied to FBI investigators when he was interviewed about the leak in early 2004. Cheney said that he was unaware of any effort to discredit Wilson or unmask his wife’s undercover status to reporters.
