Do You Ever Feel Like Staying In Bed...

with your blanket pulled over your head? Feverish 103 degree out of the box thinking over President's Day made a new man out of me.

Happy Tuesday - Vente Vanilla Latte, Advil and a salt water gargle to the rescue.

So much time, so little to do...reverse that. ;)

If I stayed in bed, I certainly would never get anything done. I know that it is cold out there. It is differcult to go outside in the cold weather. Latte will wake up and so would an cappacino from Starbucks. But, you know, you have a job to do. SO, GO DO IT!!!!

Take care of yourself, we need you. This year's virus seems to hang on and turn bronchial and hang on some more. Stay at home and work in your pajamas, if you can.

Get some grapefruit seed extract capsules and take them for seven days longer than you think you need to. They are very effective, but easier on the system than oregano oil which kills all bugs, good and bad.

Oh, I had that bug/virus a couple of weeks ago and it really kicked my butt! The salt water gargle is good and plenty of rest, if at all possible.

I'd recommend Airborne for a cold, however you may need antibiotics. I always get sick when I travel to Europe but on my last trip I took Airborne at the first sign of a cold and it went away. It was made by a school teacher that was tired of getting sick every time the kids got something. For me it works. You can find it at any drug store or even grocery store as sore throat gummi lozenges or as a tablet that you put in water and drink. Contains several vitamins, minerals and 17 herbs and nutrients. Keep healthy - the nation needs you Fitz!

I hope SOMEBODY in your staff give you some tissues for the sympathy that you are getting from your fellow bloggers (smile)!

Switching gears. Now, don't starting laughing Fitz (or better yet, blow your nose on this story) and bloggers on this story because I am still laughing. Did you know that the little soldier, Irve, has a website Call the Scooter Libby Defense Trust? Should his website been called: "I. Lewis Libby seriously broke fund?" He is asking for donation to fight justice? Here is a crook asking people to donate to a case in which he is guilty. He certainly didn't give a cat or dog about the American people who he held two prominent positions in the White House. I find this on MSNBC. Here is the excerpt from the website:
MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN
Since September 11, 2001, Lewis "Scooter" Libby has been one of the unsung heroes in fighting the war on terror, working diligently and making countless contributions on some of the most critical life and death issues that our country has faced. For the past five years, Scooter Libby served selflessly as an Assistant to President Bush and as the Chief of Staff and National Security Adviser to Vice President Cheney.

But Scooter's great service to our country has now been cut short, and his good name attacked. A distinguished group of friends, business leaders and former government officials have joined The Libby Legal Defense Trust to help Scooter defray his legal costs from the recent charges. We hope you will join us in supporting this effort. -Ambassador Mel Sembler

Yep, I couldn't believe it myself. The little soldier sank low and you know that his lifestyle has completely changed. He needs the American people to bail him out of money. Well,

Money is the root of all evil only what you do and how you handle that money. Surely, I know prominent people who have money and have done good for others with their money. But, they don’t concentrate on money. The money becomes a tool to help others. A mentor used to tell me that "money will be the important part of your life and anything that you do." So from shopping, to paying bills, etc. money is part of life but it is when you abuse money for power. That is what the Bush Administration has done. They have used the word "money" and connection the word to power. Power turns into greed. The Adminstration has abused the power of money. And in order to take away the power from the Adminstration, you have to put an end to the money. And Bush says that Americans are addicted to oil. He needs to take a look in a mirror and asked who is saying that to. Yes, Fitz does think outside of the box like other great leaders and inventors in this country. The Administration's mentality are dinosaurs (fossils). Outside of the box people like Fitz are like Windows XP computer with 80GB in the world whereas the Adminstration are like the DOS computer with 1 MB.

Which by the way, brings us to our lesson of the day...

Cannot confirm or deny! All, I can tell you is follow the money trail!

Here is something that I read on the CBS news website about the the changes in Executive Order in the Clinton Adminstration vs. the Bush Adminstration. Pay close attention to Bush's revisions of the executive order:

"Throughout Executive Order 13292, there are changes to the original Clinton order which, in effect, give the vice president the power of the president in dealing with classified material. In the original Clinton executive order, for example, there appeared the following passage:

Classification Authority.

(a) The authority to classify information originally may be exercised only by:

(1) the President;

(2) agency heads and officials designated by the President in the Federal Register...

In the Bush order, that section was changed to this (emphasis added):

Classification Authority.

(a) The authority to classify information originally may be exercised only by:

(1) the President and, in the performance of executive duties, the Vice President;

(2) agency heads and officials designated by the President in the Federal Register...

In another part of the original Clinton order, there was a segment dealing with who was authorized to delegate the authority to classify material. In the Clinton order, the passage read:

(2) "Top Secret" original classification authority may be delegated only by the President or by an agency head or official designated...

(3) "Secret" or "Confidential" original classification authority may be delegated only by the President; an agency head or official designated...

In the Bush order, that segment was changed to read (emphasis added):

(2) "Top Secret" original classification authority may be delegated only by the President; in the performance of executive duties, the Vice President; or an agency head or official designated...

(3) "Secret" or "Confidential" original classification authority may be delegated only by the President; in the performance of executive duties, the Vice President; or an agency head or official designated..

Both executive orders contained extension sections defining the terms used in the order. One of those terms was "original classification authority," that is, who in the government has the power to classify documents. In the Clinton order, the definition read:

"Original classification authority" means an individual authorized in writing, either by the President, or by agency heads or other officials designated by the President...

In the Bush executive order, the definition was changed to read (emphasis added):

"Original classification authority" means an individual authorized in writing, either by the President, the Vice President in the performance of executive duties, or by agency heads or other officials designated by the President...

In the last several years, there has been much talk about the powerful role Dick Cheney plays in the Bush White House. Some of that talk has been based on anecdotal evidence, and some on entirely fanciful speculation. But Executive Order 13292 is real evidence of real power in the vice president's office. Since the beginning of the administration, Dick Cheney has favored measures allowing the executive branch to keep more things secret. And in March of 2003, the president gave him the authority to do it. "

I can see in the near future colleges teaching a course of the total downfall and corruption of the Bush's presidency from 2000-2008. As I mention before in many of comments in the past, Bush had plan seed to appoint his base. It is slow in 2001 but we all are seeing it very fast and bluntly. You heard the old saying: get all you can. Bush is trying to work his planned agenda before the next Prez of 2008 comes in. This is unbelievable, just unbelievable....

"According to the indictment, Amawi is a citizen of Jordan and the United States, Mazloum is a legal U.S. resident and el-Hindi is a naturalized U.S. citizen born in Jordan.

They worked with a U.S. citizen identified in the indictment only as "the Trainer." The indictment said the Trainer, who was not charged in the case, had a U.S. military background and was recruited by el-Hindi in 2002 to help provide security and bodyguard training.

As part of the conspiracy, the men researched and solicited potential funding sources for jihad training, the indictment said.

The men were also accused of gathering and viewing training materials, some from Web sites, for use in training sessions.

Amawi was charged with downloading a video, "Martyrdom Operation Vest Preparation," on how to make a suicide bomb vest.

The indictment said the men used code words to communicate with co-conspirators in the Middle East. It said they tried to find and provide various resources and materials requested by the co-conspirators for use in fighting against the U.S. military and coalition forces in Iraq and elsewhere.

The resources included money, training, explosives, communications equipment, computers or personnel."

I just had a thought...and I don't know why I haven't thought of this before. Actually it's a question worth pondering on. IF Americans were misled into the Iraqi invasion under false pretenses, with the Bush Admin. knowing full well the intelligence was bogus...is there a criminal charge for spending the trillions of taxpayers money for the invasion? If so, what is it? Fraud?

He'd be impeached over gross failure as well as NSA wiretapping.

The lies for war would be added to the resume, but it would be the spying and lawbreaking that is his impeachment. It wouldn't be about the war because thats impossible to prove, without the whole republican leadership agreeing to investigate & get him on record.

That won't happen and Cheney already has been proven to knowingly lie, not so with Bush.

Bush, the joint chiefs of staff and many others are used as stage props and blackmail bait. He'll be tied to the illegal war lies and wiretapping, I don't believe it will have anything to do with CIA.

In case anyone here did not see this-from his Base-Do they still think BUSH is born again

PORTO ALEGRE, Brazil - A coalition of American churches sharply denounced the U.S.-led war in Iraq on Saturday, accusing Washington of "raining down terror" and apologizing to other nations for "the violence, degradation and poverty our nation has sown."

The statement, issued at the largest gathering of Christian churches in nearly a decade, also warned the United States was pushing the world toward environmental catastrophe with a "culture of consumption" and its refusal to back international accords seeking to battle global warming.

"We lament with special ANGUISH the WAR in Iraq, launched in DECEPTION and violating global norms of justice and human rights," said the statement from representatives of the 34 U.S. members of World Council of Churches. "We mourn all who have died or been injured in this war. We ACKNOWLEDGE with SHAME ABUSES carried out in OUR name."

Finally after all the damage---"". we, as people of faith, have to say to our brothers and sisters,

`We are so profoundly SORRY,'The churches said they had "grown heavy with GUILT" for not doing enough to speak out against the Iraq war and other issues. Our country responded (to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks) by seeking to reclaim a privileged and secure place in the world, raining down terror on the truly vulnerable among our global neighbors ... entering into IMPERIAL projects that seek to dominate and control for the sake of national interests," said the statement.

"Nations have been DEMONIZED and GOD has been enlisted in national AGENDAS that are nothing short of IDOLATROUS"""

The World Council of Churches includes more than 350 mainstream Protestant, Anglican and Orthodox churches; the Roman Catholic Church is not a member.
