Pink On Fire - Neil Never Tires...

You won't hear this on Clear Channel Radio stations, but it's one of the more powerful protest songs to come along in a very long time.

And if grey matters and Neil Young is more your cup of tea his new release - "is one mo----fo---- of a protest album. In fact,
Living With War may just be the Fahrenheit 9/11 of rock." - Raw Story

Highly recommended for lazy Saturday viewing is a patriotic interview with Neil sharing his views on impeachment, America and other life wisdom below.

Keep on rockin' in the free world!

Impeach the President by Neil Young

I'm living with war everyday
I'm living with war in my heart everyday
I'm living with war right now

And when the dawn breaks I see my fellow man
And on the flat-screen we kill and we're killed again
And when the night falls, I pray for peace
Try to remember peace (visualize)

I join the multitudes
I raise my hand in peace
I never bow to the laws of the thought police
I take a holy vow
To never kill again
To never kill again

I'm living with war in my heart
I'm living with war in my heart and my mind
I'm living with war right now

Don't take no tidal wave
Don't take no mass grave
Don't take no smokin' gun
To show how the west was won
But when the curtain falls, I pray for peace
Try to remember peace (visualize)

In the crowded streets
In the big hotels
In the mosques and the doors of the old museum
I take a holy vow
To never kill again
Try to remember peace

The rocket's red glare
Bombs bursting in air
Give proof through the night,
That Our flag is still there

I'm living with war everyday
I'm living with war in my heart everyday
I'm living with wat right now.

This is about exchanging ideas...it's about getting a message out.

It's about empowering people by giving them a voice.

I know not everyone believes what I say is what they think. But like I said before.. ya know.. red and blue is not black and white. We're all together.

It's a record about unification." -

I read that he once supported President Bush on the war. ---

Most everyone believed him after 911....until--well you know the rest.

Glad the artists and celebrites like Pink and Neil Young are speaking out against the Gerbil through music. The power of the voice in all form of arts is a powerful tool to give a important message.

I am guessing all you folks already heard A Perfect Circle's "Emotive" from 2004. The sound is a little harsh, so Google the lyrics. You will not be disappointed.

Contessa37--Yes, Pink's "Stupid Girls" is right on target. Men--please tell all your friends that there is nothing wrong with smart girls. We can do your taxes, fix your credit rating, pick stocks, and we do not nag. How are those bad things?
