Backchannel exchanges, lobbyists, free press and speech...complicated stuff, but if anyone can explain it away, Condi can!
BTW, Condi is wicked smart. I know this first hand from our Klingon Scrabble group. Just one recommendation - when deposing her make sure she is under oath and then do me a favor? Ask if she is running for POTUS in '08 (a Tim Russert w-t dream) or is just content serving as V.P. later this year?

But we digress, this is Condi's fun in the sun.
Well, when I got to Wall Street this afternoon, there was a heavy police presence. It's not that I couldn't perform there, but I could see that the cops would probably be there for several hours, and profitability would have been cut considerably due to the distraction of police radios and such.
So I went to the Rector St Station, which is just 2 1/2 blocks from Ground Zero, around the corner from the Amex. I got to play "Watching You" about 12 times over the course of two and a half hours. Each time I was able to dedicate the song to "Karl Rove, voted most likely to be indicted by the Special Prosecutor."
Most of the time, I sang it after "Goper's Lament." To say the least, a good laugh was had by 'almost' all in attendance.
I had a great time.
I'm going shopping for more shoes..
Libby has an addiction to leaking...he does't realize that job is over..he can't stop himself...but when will he realize..it's the lying stupid!

I just read the update on Libby releasing Fitz' letter. What do you expect from the little soldier? An excerpr:
"WASHINGTON (AP) -- Lawyers for Vice President Dick Cheney's indicted former chief of staff on Friday defended their decision to release a letter to the news media before it was filed in federal court, and they urged the judge in the CIA leak case not to react by issuing a gag order."
"Despite angering the judge with the letter's release, Libby's legal team called the disclosure "appropriate." The Libby team sent the letter to reporters the night of April 11. The letter appeared on the court docket the next afternoon.
Fitzgerald's incorrect filing triggered news stories that Libby had mischaracterized the key judgments of a National Intelligence Estimate on Iraq when he leaked information to New York Times reporter Judith Miller after being authorized to do so by President Bush and Cheney."
What is interesting is that Fitz never commented or leaked any information about the case to the media. This shows the integrity of Fitz as an attorney and a person of his word. But, not the little soldier. He leaked inforation to the reporters which fits his current charges by Fitz. We know that little soldier did that tic for tac against Fitz to discredit him. What a childlish game by the little soldier!
Condi, you need new shoes like you need a hole in the head!

I may not be able to get into the recording studio before the indictment is handed down, but I'm working on a CD ahead of the '06 vote (if martial law isn't declared before hand) and I'll be up to my usual tricks. There is a great deal of comedy beneath the tragedy, and I'll be sure to make my voice heard.
I know, that was my point. Mr. Fitzgerald took a lot of crap in the press because of Beasty boy Libby. Notice they are back to BushCo.'s tricks of releasing things to the press on Fridays.

To save on gas, alot of people ride e-bikes now. I got one myself too!
Its great and works just about anywhere, 5 hour stints at a time. Fuel changes are common now too, lots will be switching to bio diesel and I sure hope I will have it!
