About Me
- Name: Patrick J. Fitzgerald
- Location: U.S. Attorney On Assignment - WDC, Illinois, United States
Think Globally Prosecute Locally - I grew up in Flatbush, kept my nose clean, went to law school. Now that I am in Chicago and D.C. I have found that the rampant graft and corruption to be a travesty - a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham. ---Favorite quote --- "Conditional love is an oxymoron." - Yours truly

I might.
But it is my understanding governments often hang poets.
So then again, maybe not.
I was always taught that it is the highest calling and Fitz epitomizes that!
I was a local government employee for nearly 30 years and just recently retired. I started at the age of 20 and saw a whole lot I didn't like, but voiced my opinion and fixed what I could. It was an honor to serve the public and I would do it again. It is a calling not a job.
Interesting Board of Directors.
Amazing how some of these very people helped honest and perhaps naive Americans lose faith in the entire workings of the U.S. Gov't.
I would help, but then I'd be afraid of being ripped to shreds by the noise machine, big media money and whatever else would be thrown my way, if I ever got close to changing real power, exposing lies. Read Paul Wellstone, JFK Jr., and a lot of others....think about it.
Fitz, you must be the cleanest guy in the world, because if you weren't we'd sure as hell hear about it.
Thank you.
Hey Grandma!!
I was born in '60. I bet that I'm only a few months older then Mr. Fitzgerald. But I have fibromylgia which makes you feel about 80 years old in pain and fatigue along with some other fun health problems.
I'm working on my kids though---both my sons are studying engineering. :( My youngest son would make a terrific cop, lawyer, or judge.
Nice slogans, Fitz! Are those slogans going to be public advertisement on T.V.? The photo of you looks like Uncle Sam! Instead of "do you have what it takes to be in public service?", it should say "do you have what it takes to say 'no thanks' to graft? then you will be right in public service."
Christy I love poets and my first proposal will be for a Center Of Creativity to put all the talents to work in Nursing Homes..Children's Homes ..etc..to put their dream minds back to work..to make everyday beautiful for those beginning life as well as those in twilight..because one thing I have learned that those eyes that mirror the soul are just as beautiful from the day you are born til the last breath..I was my mother's caregiver and those eyes were just as beautiful when they closed for the last time..
A talent is something I cannot see..
Because it's down inside of me
I must work to make it show..
So my talent down inside will show..
And when my talent is close at hand
I will use it to help my fellow man..
Fitz does that
so does John Edwards
thats why I love this blog
those who govern us now do not mirror anything in their eyes
their lights are out
noboby's home and in my opinion those who follow this crowd are the same way...
I've done Public Service at the Federal, State, County and City level and loved every minute of it! :)
