Joe Biden is a good man from what I know and served honorably but I too am underwhelmed. He doesn't seem to be presidential material, for lack of a better phrase, I don't see the fire in the belly. I see an opportunity that crossed his path and he reached for it.
That said, I also believe that the more good men and women in '08 POTUS race talking about the issues - especially the War but just as important the soaring debt and the failing infrastructure - the better. Assuming he does more than just trash the Bush Administration. That's our job, us bloggers for truth and justice.
Let the candidates speak of the future, not the debilitating present. Bush will be brought down and disgraced, and the next president has to regenerate our country and return our honor.
I don't know that Biden is up to that challenge but I welcome his presence.

Personally, I would like to see RFK, Jr. and Obama run together, they are both brilliant and have the energy and drive that this country needs.
No comment on Biden running for President. We will see if he puts his money where his mouth is. Whomever becomes President in 2008, whether it is a man or woman, the person will be tested by the public and all across the country. It will take a long time for this country to heal and gain conference within each other and across the world. The person must have a strong character to lead and serve the people! And I mean serve the people! That is what is missing for the past 6 years from the Bush Asministration.

Woodward might have done a great job for not disclosing over 30 years of Mark Felt as "Deep Throat." We may not have to wait 30 years for this identity. Is it Hadley or Armitage? Also, what is puzzling is that a reporter has to have two sources. I wonder who are the two sources for Woodward, Novak, Russett, Miller, Cooper etc. And are those two sources were sources for some or all of those reporters?
I like Joe Biden. But I like Russ Feingold better.
Obama is a good choice, but not Condi Rice or any one from the Bush Family!

Yes grandmanuk the senior vote rocks. As for Joe Biden well we can do better. He's stayed at the dance to long without doing anything. Biden knows he's not qualified for the job he's only doing this to help his policial position. If Bush/Rove/Cheney yell at him he'll cry and run. We can do much better for a leader who has to clean up this mess.
