What a waste of a Secretary of State. She is a joke and learning on the job no experience. Just what has she done but carry messages from Bush. She has a bad habit of looking down at people. She isn't respected by anyone overseas. As for a man well if she isn't shagging Bush, some guy will take her for her stolen money. When this Adminstration is gone poor Connie can't even teach anymore at her college. She was kicked to the crub. If any man talks to her now he's only using her. Another person who sold the soul to the devil.

Maybe the US government has a miles and more collector scheme and she's trying to collect for the first prize? Wonder what that would be though...

Blogger airJackie said...

Forget Connie. Now the Libby team is blaming Mr. Armitage for leaking the CIA's name. If this keeps going Libby will have everyone responsible but himself. Whats so funny is Libby isn't charged with leaking the name he's charged with lying to the grand jury and the FBI. If I didn't know better I'd think these guys were on drugs because I wouldn't think no one was that stupid but I guess I was wrong.

Who in their right mind would date her?
She's going to have to go half way around the world to find someone because no one in their right mind would date anyone from the Bush Administration.
On the other hand, Washington DC is full of snakes, she'll probably find one of her own kind there.

Waste of time! We have to hear about her flying adventures when she can't do her job as Secretary of State? And as far as Match.com or Condi trying to find a date, Fitz, she got Bush. What does she need to find a man. Remember, her residence is on the Crawford Ranch. That is where Condi lives. And in her office, she has a picture of herself and Bush fishing and nother pictures. Hint, Hint! Now, what does that tell you. Since we know about Libby and Miller shagging saga, what about George and Condi. She is attsched to the hip with Bush as Cheney is attached to his money and Halliburton.

S-Q,

When Condi got the job as Secretary of State, there was an article in a magazine (I cannot remember what magazine) in which interviewed Condi at her office. As the journalist describe things on her desk, the journalist describes the picture of her and Bush fishing on a boat. Condi talked about how her and Bush loves football but she is not into fishing. I found it odd that ahe didn't have pictures of anything else. Also, she did say that she lives at Crawford Ranch. So, that is true. Bazaare but true. Another thing that I found out is that when Bush went to surprised the troops with the infamous Thanksgiving turkey 2 years ago, the media said that Bush went alone on this trip to see the troops and the family didn't know that Bush left. What I found out later is that Condi went on that trip with Bush. They said it was business. Right! There is a lot more of Bush and Condi's relationship that meets the eye. Bush and his "Stepford wife" Laura are strangest couple I have ever seen. Not a lot of hand holding from that couple. When Bush is out of office, guarantee you that someone will write a "kiss and tell" book about the relationship of Condi/Bush/Laura years in the Oval office.

S-Q,

Here is article that in Washington Post in November 16, 2004 ofthe bazaare relationship with Bush and Condi. Here is an excerpt:

"She was Bush's first tutor on foreign policy, during the 2000 campaign, and bonded with him over a common love of sports. She has frequently joked that her dream job is commissioner of the National Football League.
Her bond with Bush continued into the White House. Rice has spent countless hours at Bush's side -- in the White House, at Camp David and at his ranch in Crawford, Tex. -- forging a relationship that has transcended the statutory position of national security adviser."

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A52730-2004Nov15.html

You have to question ho much of those countless hours did she spent with Bush and how much time has bush spent with his own wife? Match. com, international dateline, and the love connection is out for Condi!

Bluewild,

I think Fitz was joking about playing Klingon scrabble with Condi. Fits would have to have his shots to be next to Condi.

Fitz,

Could you please educate us on on what is exactly is Klingon? I did look that up on Google and is this sort of like Star Trek? I read on an article about Klingon is used to create a lauguage for aliens. Now arw you saying that Condi, Alito, A3G (the fake blogger that you mention on your prior posting) are aliens? I know that it was joke about playing Klingon scrabble with Condi. Because it is wasn't, I would think that you have lost your mind to be associating with Condi. I am Star Trek fan. But, I think you lost Bluewild in your trend of thoughts about the Klingon scrabble. Please explain! thanks!

Is Condi Rice Secretly in Love With President Bush?

President Bush's "warrior princess" committed what may be the faux pas of the year at a recent Washington dinner party. Condoleezza Rice normally chooses her words with careful precision, which is why jaws dropped when she made a revealing slip of the tongue. Rice, who is unmarried, was reportedly overheard saying, "As I was telling my husb-—" before abruptly stopping herself. She continued: "As I was telling President Bush."

Paging Dr. Freud ?

Bluewild I agree we are dealing with so serious issues in this country my daughter has put her life on the line. But as she has told me more then a million times if you can't laugh then you are dead. As for Fitz I pray we can help him laugh just a little because reading about this case has given me a headache and I'm not the Proscutor. Our lives have changed since this Administration has destroyed the country we love. But if we and Fitz/his staff can't laugh once in a while we'll all burn out. The corruption and problems will be waiting for all of us once the laughter is over. How many of us on this blog have so much to lose that we can't laugh once in a while I know I've sent my heart to protect and serve I pray I can keep smiling and have a laugh until my heart comes home safe. Your my friend and I care about you too.

All,

Jason Leopold has a new article of the lastest on the CIA Leak. 6 miles, thanks for sharing some of the article.

Libby Attorneys Identify CIA Officials in Plame Leak
By Jason Leopold

Fitz is right. Libby's case is whether is he lied to the jury or not and not whether he leaked the CIA name. I like what Fitz says:
"And the issue is whether he knowingly lied or not," Fitzgerald added. "And if there is information about actual damage, whatever was caused or not caused that isn't in his mind, it is not a defense. If she turned out to be a postal driver mistaken for a CIA employee, it's not a defense if you lie in a grand jury under oath about what you said and you told people I didn't know he had a wife. That is what this case is about. It is about perjury, if he knowingly lied or not."

However, on Friday, Libby's lawyers disclosed a 39 page document of "the identities of four CIA employees who possibly provided their client with information about Plame Wilson's work for the CIA."
Here is the 39 page document:

http://talkleft.com/libbydiscov317.pdf

Now Libby is switching strategy by indicating that these 4 CIA employees provided Libby with Ms. Wilson's employment at the CIA. What a joke! If was the procescutor in this case, I would say: "Fool, why didn't you say that in the beginning?" This is sounding like an Albert and Costello show.

What is interesting is that two people who used to work for the CIA will be called in testify. One of them is John McLaughlin. McLaughlin "was deputy director of the CIA. He resigned from the agency in November 2004 over bureaucratic infighting." and Robert Grenier who was the "head of the agency's top counterterrorism office. Grenier was fired last month because he opposed using torture tactics against al-Qaeda suspects at secret detention facilities abroad, intelligence sources and news reports said." And there you have it. Two CIA ex-employees left because of disagreement with the policies. I wonder what they will say when they testify. I would consider these two people more dangerous because they didn't leave the CIA on good terms. Don't be surprised if Richard Clarke, Paul O'Neill, and others that had been fired by this Administration are called in as witnesses. Libby is simply trying to save his hide, protect the major players in this CIA case, and convince the jury that the intelligence agency was involved in the CIA leak. And those involved were ex-CIA employees. Libby, that sounds good. But, my question to Libby and his lawyers is what do the ex-CIA employees (who had security clearance at the time of their employment) gain for leaking Ms. Wilson's name?

Blogger Sandra said...

Good eve,

Thanks for the news SPB, interesting question about why bring in the CIA?

Looks like a red herring to me
...call up some CIA, make it look as if learning about Plame was watercooler chatting
... then throw in the DPB to show how busy Libby was with important work
...bring the shrink to testify about brains incapacity to remember gossip when trying to help run a country
... and voila ready is the soup, coupe, whatever...

Kind of quiet on the blog today, huh?
Thanks for the info on truthout. It's one of the best resources on the web.
As for the ex-CIA agents leaking Plames' identity, it doesn't make sense. But I would love to hear what Richard Clarke has to say!
And what Jackie said before about Condi Rice being a waste of Secretary of State, I couldn't agree more. She seems like no more than a Stenographer. Bushs' Gal Friday or whatever.
I really don't know why other people keep singing her praises. I just don't see what they are talking about.

5:52 PM
Blogger SP Biloxi said...

Waterflake,

That was funny! Plame as the "watercooler chatting" or better yet, the breakroom gossip at the CIA. And nobody said a word? What kind of leader is Tenet allowing watercooler chatting? Or is Tenet going to claim "memory loss?" Libby is getting more deep into trouble by adding this new bogus evidence. He is adding a new can of worms by trying to insinuate an incompetent CIA division in which CIA employees gossip amongst one another on confidential information. Next thing you know, Libby and his lawyers will say that the butler did it!

Jodi,

It is basically trying to boost Condi's name. We know that she has no experience as the Secretary of State because she doesn't have miltary experience. She is simply an indenture servant to Bush or what I call a "yes'em" type of person to Bush. So, is Gonzo. Both of them are like the sheep in the herd that will follow the other sheeps. It is such a shame that minorities like Gonzo and Condi who have achieved such a higher level in life and which other minorities can have the hopes and dream to achieve that level, would turn out to be sellouts. This is certainly showing the public who can be brought and paid for by the WH and who cannot not!

That's true... I know that this website is being monitored from the power of beings. I certainly don't want the defence getting any type of ideas of what Fitz's next move. Luckly, Fitz doesn't give any hints on this blog to his strategy. Only the bloggers are giving opinion but we amy be closer to truth than what I realize. Yeah, I will be careful. It is a shame that this is turning into a "1984" society!

6:28 PM
Blogger Sandra said...

Truthout said:

The attorneys claim that Plame Wilson was not a very important figure at the CIA and that therefore no damage was done to national security by unmasking her identity.

Now what about the story about the 2600 CIA names the Chicago Tribune found? The whole mess started with Plame because you can't just google such info out without a starting point, like a name or cover id for cross reference...which in this case was? BINGO

Plame

so if anything else did leaking her (maybe unimportant) ID create the security mess by Chicago Tribune and not vice versa

So if they use this as a defense strategy it could boomerang big time

6:31 PM
Blogger SP Biloxi said...

Exactly the point! If Ms. Wilson wasn't the important figure in the CIA according the lawyers, then what would the CIA employees gain (political or personal) for leaking her name? As you said, a boomerang that will smack Libby in the head for opening up this ridiculous evidence. Have to agree with Raw Story, Libby will be an embarrasment to the Administration.

6:40 PM
Blogger Sandra said...

Sorry you lost me on the 1984 society, please be patient with me as I'm no native english and sometimes lack background info
...but about being carefull what to say...Well here's what I think:

if we all stop being afraid and speak our minds whenever and to whatever subject it would kill the governments capability.

The Chinese developed an interesting defense strategy in case they should have to fight the US. They had a code upon which approx 10 Million where going to surrender at once. As US is bound to Geneva Conventions they would have to take them, house them, feed them, process them and so on and so on Mission Impossible I dare say so
...if everybody was refusing to be intimidated what they gone do? Bring everybody in for questioning? (except the 29% pro Bush of course)

Waterflake,

I referenced " 1984" to the book by George Orwell. It is about society of Totalitarianism or "big brother watching you". A lot of people have reference the Bush Administration to the book "1984." I have read that book as well as other Orwell's works. I am an avid reader on current events, business, philosophy, and cultures of life. So, a lot of Bush's antics do reference a lot of books that I read. Bush should read the book: ”Lincoln on Leadership” which Bush can learn from Abe Lincoln. I didn't realize that you did know when I meant "1984."

I do agree with you to speak your mind. People are afraid to speak their mind here because of the fear of retaliation. People need to understand that because the people who stood up, spoke, and sacrifice their lives for the freedoms we would have never have the Constitution, Civil rights, Women's rights, the right to vote, disability acts. etc. in this country. FEAR stands for False Evidence Appearing Real. At this point, I could care less if the Libby, government, whomever is monitoring this blog or any blogs. Maybe they can learn something from the bloggers.

On a side note, I have never been afraid to speak my mind. Always have and always will. My great grandfather used to tell me that "God gave you a voice so use it!" Have a good evening!

the heat will only help to demonstrate the rampant, blatant corruption, matched only with their arrogance, greed [hmm, those 7 sins I seem to recall they play very nicely here]...

Data/facts, will smother and choke Libby. He just hasn't realized he's no longer part of the 'clique'... he's radioactive.

The selective memory game only goes for so long.. hmmm, wonder how good Libby is on history, and other factoids.. but then Fitz, your team has probably already uncovered that.. waiting for him to step right in to the crevice.

Figures, he'll stay on the sinking ship, but what do I care?
Otherwise, they are reporting that Stephen Hadley is also named for the first time on public record as Woodward's source. Armitage is just a smokescreen the press is seizing on.
And also on an amusing note in the Raw Story is that Whiny insecure children grow up to be conservatives. What a shocker!
Also there is a new posting, which is an open thread.

Maybe you morons should go on Wikipedia and look up Condi's resume. I'm no Republican, but even I'll vote for this woman rather than vote for my Libertarian in 2008.

You people are deluded if you think this woman can lose, she cannot, no matter how much she is "Uncle-Tom-ed"..

Condoleeza Rice is a capable woman and Democrats need to be very wary of self-imploding on this one. The race card won't work, Hillary can't match her resume - not even close..

You Dems are fucked.. I always am, because my Libertarian Party will get 1% or something along those lines. You people think you can win in 2008, and it is not going top happen. Condi can't lose and that is something you folks need to realize sooner than later.

A poor, black woman from Birmingham, Alabama is Secretary of State. How is the hell do you think you can beat this woman? She has obviously overcome massive odds and proved her detractors wrong before. I'd be happy to vote for a proper Democrat, but I can't think of one that I like more than this woman.

And who will be the first person to say Condi isn't qualified? None other than Jesee Jackson
