SPB and others:

Dick Cheney will not resign or retire. He says he will stay his full term. Another rat that is not jumping from the sinking ship, but what do I care? The more this administration fails, the more elated I am.
In the Raw Story there is news that Stephen Hadley is mentioned for the first time on public record that he was the source for Woodward. Armitage is the smokescreen as I figured. The press is just seizing on him.
Another from the Raw Story is that Whiny, insecure children grow up to be conservatives. What a shocker! I thought this was hilarious and so true.
This describes the whole Bush Administration! Bush and Karl Rove especially come to mind.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening folks!

Happy Monday!

Well, busy day/week/month for Fitz huh? I can imagine the headache and Advils that he is taking dealing with the little soldier and his Gilligan defence. Makes anyone want to have drink!

Today news from ThinkProgress.org:

SCIENCE -- NASA CLIMATOLOGIST SPEAKS OUT ABOUT ADMINISTRATION'S ATTEMPTS TO SILENCE HIM:

James Hansen, the head of NASA's top institute studying the climate and arguably the world's leading researcher on global warming, told CBS's 60 Minutes last night that the Bush administration is censoring what he can say to the public. As proof, Hansen displayed a 2004 email he received that read, "The White House [is] now reviewing all climate related press releases." Hansen believes global warming is accelerating, pointing to the melting Arctic and to Antarctica, where new data show massive loss of ice to the sea. "In my more than three decades in the government I've never witnessed such restrictions on the ability of scientists to communicate with the public," said Hansen

Anyone that speaks the truth that the Administration doesn't like, Bush tries to silence them. But, Hansen is speaking the truth!

ETHICS -- PENTAGON HIRED CORRUPT CONTRACTOR TO COLLECT DATA ON CHURCHES AND SCHOOLS: Knight-Ridder reports that the Pentagon hired a contractor to "collect data on houses of worship, schools, power plants and other locations in the United States." The company that was awarded the contract, MZM Inc., is headed by Mitchell Wade, the lobbyist "who pleaded guilty last month to bribing Cunningham and unnamed Defense Department officials to steer work to his firm.

And there you go. A crooked contractor is employed!

Well, what do you expect Jodi from Rambo Cheney. He is like Gerbil Bush: they jump on the wheel, run real hard, and stay the course! Cheney is trying to get as much loot that he can before they get caught.. and I knew about the connection with Hadley and Woodward months ago. that was in the London Times. But, that story is now surfacing which put Woodward back in the spotlight and in the hotseat.

On a side note, with Cheney's major heart condition, Cheney better hope that his borrowed time doesn't end.

With four heart attacks and probably a fifth on the way, Cheney is definitely living on borrowed time. As for the environment, Bush is one of the biggest offenders ever and anyone who speaks the truth about ANYTHING
is considered the enemy.
Bush cannot simply handle the truth about anything.
I don't know if you have heard this but according to Americablog,Bushs' new buzzword is progress. What a laugh, Bush wouldn't know progress if it bit him in the ass.

And you notice that he is not mentioning the word "war" today on the 3rd anniversary of the war in Iraq. Yes, I heard the word "progress" and "hope" where Bush is bankrupting this country. I have a friend who very analytical with numbers who discuss with me that raising of the deficit debt of 9 trillion. If Bush keep rising the deficit, we will be pass 10 trillion by the time Bush leaves office. It will be difficult to pull out of that hole for a very long time. In Michael Moore's film, Fahrenheit 9/11, when he said that the Saudias own 7% of the U.S., and what would the percentage of the U.S. would the Saudias own when Bush leaves the office or better yet China and other countries that Bush borrowed money from?

Cheney will leave if Libby continues to attempt in establishing a firm defense.

Wouldn't be surprised if old Tricky Dicky himself and Rat Rove came up with his selective memory game. But that will only go so far..
calling in to detail his recollection on other key dates, visits from dignitaries -- you'll see how far he will get. Not very.

WHY DOES ROVE TO CONTINUE TO HAVE SECURITY CLEARANCE THE AMERICAN PUBLIC WANTS TO KNOW. SAME WITH
HADLEY
BARTLETT and the other part of this corrupt gaggle of evil-doers.
Mr President, you're right in there in the thick of it.

The continued heat from PJF and team on the perjury on the Plame issue will just spill all over Cheney, Rove and the of the hall rats, the WHIGS and yes, the President.

Perhaps we need Barbara Bush to come back out and state how we're so much better off now that we're close to paying 43 at the pump again?

Or remind Rummy of his glad-handing with Sadam caught on film in the late 80's.

Or, the 'I don't know Jack' pics with the various Oval Evil Doers?

WAR!
War, war and war.
How 'bout a little more war?

Murtha is calling for the resignation of Rumsfeld. You know that's never going to happen.
Another rat going down with the ship. I just love that analogy.
The Bush administration is just full of vermin. And as for Barbara Bush, she can just stay in the crypt where they usually keep her.
Don't need to see or hear from her again!

Bluewild,

The Gerbil is out of touch in reality. There are people protesting all over the world on this anniversary and he still doesn't get it. Remember, Bush wouldn't say the word "evasion" or "attack" three years ago. Bush said that this was a "war." I think that the more that he stayed the course in this unjustly war that the more people will want him out of office.

Speaking of that, two more Senators back Feingold in censoring Bush:
From Thinkprogress.org

Sen. Pat Leahy (D-VT) and Sen. Jim Jeffords (I-VT)
say hearings should be held on Sen. Russ Feingold’s proposal to censure President Bush for violating the Constitution and the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Hi guys: Fitz you sound a teacher and we're your students. Your leaving the class for a while so we have to keep busy. Well SPB will sub. for you and does a great job too.
I read truthout. Nice moves keeping it to the point and not letting anyone know your cards in the leak case. Some nice points from Libby's attorneys at lease they digging. I guess I'm getting to old for law now even while reading it I was yelling at the article thats sad. But you gave strong points and Walton must be really getting a headache from this case. I love those time lines and the words facts speak for itself. If I were a bitting person I'd say they will continue to dig for as much info as possible before the trial date and then as for a plea agreement. It gives them time to pack, steal, make deals and resign before all go down. As must of these lies come out the harder it is to cover it up. SPB was right all these cases are linked together and as one gets exposed it exposes the other. I'm glad you have Special Proscutor Biloxi on this blog to help give us information and web sites to up dated news. Your flygirls are thankfull and these young people on this blog keep me young. All,

Here is the lastest from Jason Leopold. This is give you a prelude to what Fitz will argue in court in the Libby case;

Fitzgerald Previews Government's Case Against Libby
By Jason Leopold
t r u t h o u t | Report
Monday 20 March 2006

From Fitz:

"I will argue during that week Mr. Libby was consumed with [Wilson] to an extent more than he should have been but he was and you can look at the time he spent with people," Fitzgerald added. "When talking about Mr. Wilson for the first time, he described himself as a former Hill staffer. He meets with people off premises. There were some unusual things I won't get into about that week. At the end of the day we're talking about someone who spent a lot of time during the week of July 7 to July 14 focused on the issue of Wilson and Wilson's wife."

On July 7, 2003, Libby "had a lunch where he imparted that information in what was described as a weird situation," Fitzgerald said at the hearing. "He had a private meeting with a reporter outside the White House with this meeting. He was quoted in a very rare interview on a Saturday on the record in an interview with Time magazine, a very weird circumstance. There are a lot of markers I won't get into that show that this was a very important focus, the Wilson controversy from July 7 to 14 because it was a direct attack on the credibility of the administration, whether accurate or not, and upon the vice president and people were attacking Mr. Libby. So it was a focus."

http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/032006J.shtml

On a side note: Remember, Libby is giving limited documents ordered by the judge for his memory loss. Interesting how Libby will get out of this!

On last note on my last comments:

From Firedoglake:

"Libby had originally asked for documents pertaining to June 9, 2003 to July 12, 2004. The judge restricted the very general summaries to:
6/7/03 to 7/14/03
10/12/03 to 10/16/03
11/24/03 to 11/28/03
3/3/04 to 3/7/04
3/22/04 to 3/26/04"

These are the dates restricted by the judge. Good Luck little soldier!

I received an email from Waterflake who a frequent blogger here. Bush now claims that he never said that Hussein and 9/11 were linked together. Sorry Bush, but we remember his speech in 2003. From thinkprogress.org:

"In fact, Bush justified the war against Iraq by directly linking it to 9/11:
The use of armed forces against Iraq is consistent with the United States and other countries continuing to take the necessary actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations or person who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. [Bush’s Letter to Congress, 3/21/03] "

Here is the letter to Congress:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/03/20030321-5.html

And he thinks he can hookwinked the public! Be careful what you say Bush becuase those words can come back and bite you. He tends to forget why Mr. Wilson was sent to Niger in the beginning. Bad choice of words by Bush since there is an ongoing investigation into the CIA Leak.

Yeah good luck to the little soldier (not)!
He has painted himself into a corner with his pathetic defense, and Fitzgerald will basically tear him apart!
It's really not much information that the judge has given Libby.
Let's see how well he spins it.

Hi all and SPB,

I see you keep the show running ;-

Bush speech was hilarious especially when it came to answering questions. I don't actually think he did answer them.

He talked a lot but said nothing...

3:29 PM
Blogger SP Biloxi said...

He does that in every interview. He talks nothing but nonsense. I am looking forward when Webster Dictionary adds a new vocabulary word called "Bushisms" with Bush's face next to the definition.
