You will be waiting for the cows to come home. Al Gore will not run for President. He said that on a conference call that I was on in December and among 1,000's of other Move on.org members. I know everyone wants him to run. He is more devoted to his passion of the environment.

Biloxi/Obama 08. The winning ticket! LOL!

Gore was very impressive at the Oscars but I seriously doubt he will run. Too bad he isn't in the WH now though!

Al Gore should receive a "free" term in the Whitehouse. There is proof now that our voting system is unreliable & Dubya is a thief/murderer, etc...who should be "under" the jail.

Al Gore indeed in his rightful place;-)

From the Yurica Report:

For the war companies, things have worked out perfectly. Whatever the rationale for the invasion of Iraq, business is booming. Not long after Bush took office, Lockheed Martin's revenues soared by more than 30 percent, as it was awarded $17 billion in contracts from the Department of Defense, a far cry from the lean years of the Clinton administration. (Under Clinton, it did win $2 billion in contracts with the Department of Energy for nuclear weapons activity; recently Bush called for 125 new nukes a year, opening up new contract horizons in that area, as well.) Its stock went from 16.375 in October of 1999 to 71.52 in June of 2002. As professor of finance at the State University at Buffalo Michael Rozeff observes, "the stock market anticipates many events."---mmm what kind of "events", the Asian stock market began a second day very low--

------ He had also been a staffer for Mississippi Senator Trent Lott when Lott was the senate majority leader -- Scheunemann had in fact authored the Iraq Liberation Act. The act authorized the $97 million in Pentagon aid that would fund the Iraq National Congress, led by Ahmed Chalabi, who subsequently got close to New York Times reporter Judith Miller, explaining to her where Saddam Hussein's WMDs were supposedly located...

No justice no peace for Emmett Till. This is truly sad for justice...

Once again, no justice for Emmett Till. The grand jury investigating his 1955 murder has returned a "no true bill" against Carolyn Bryant, now 72.

The grand jury in Leflore County wrapped up its work this past week and issued a "no bill" against Carolyn Bryant, the widow of one of two white men originally acquitted of Till's death. A "no bill" means the grand jury found insufficient evidence existed for an indictment on a criminal charge. Documents made public Tuesday show prosecutors sought a manslaughter charge

.....Till was kidnapped from the Leflore County town of Money in 1955. Three days later, the 14-year-old's mutilated body was found in the Tallahatchie River.
Roy Bryant, Carolyn Bryant's husband, and his half brother, J.W. Milam, were acquitted of the crime by an all-white jury. The two men later confessed in an interview with Look magazine. Till had been accused of whistling at Carolyn Bryant, and some witnesses have said a woman's voice could be heard at the scene of the abduction.

My lady told me about this story. I just hope in the near future that Till family have some closure.

I just saw on Firedoglake that the jury passed a note and there will be some announcement tomorrow at 9:30? I pray that there is a verdict. Good luck, Mr. Fitzgerald.

Mr. Biloxi,

Could you please email me tomorrow on what happens in court? I'm in an all day meeting with my staff. Thank you.

That is a funny comment: Biloxi/Obama 08.

You must be humorous at home as well at the office. Have a good evening. Good luck tomorrow.

You bet!

My favorite quote from Gonzo about the firings of the U.S. Attorneys:

ALBERTO GONZALES, U.S. Attorney General: I would never, ever make a change in a United States attorney position for political reasons or if it would in any way jeopardize an ongoing serious investigation. I just would not do it.

LOL!

Please take one small 'mutha may I' step backwards and help me with my fashion sense (or lack therof) for tomorrow.

Hi, Mr. Fitzgerald!

I was about to shut down my computer for the evening. It is late on the East Coast.

So, you want me to help you in fashion? Gosh, I am honored that you asked me that. My ex used to say that I had expertise in his attire.

I'll give it a shot. This is just my opinion. I would go with a dark blue suit with a red tie and dark shoes. Make sure they are shine. And no dimples in the tie. With your complexion and lighting, you look better in dark blue, dark brown, black, and a dark grey. This neutralizes you. Stay away from light colors. I hope this helps you. Ask me anytime for advice. I am happy to help you. I hope to see you in New York if you ever come to New York again. Good night all.

Yes it is pretty sad case. I have heard that case for years and years. Mississippi still carries that human stain of shame of that unclosed case of Emmett Till. The family needs closure and the state needs to heal but Emmett should never be forgotten. His death caused a outcry of justice.

Oh, I am glad Mrs. X went back on the blog. I alerted her of Fitz's message to her. And I hope, Fitz, Mrs. X helped you with attire advice. Anyhoo, I will say good night. Can't wait for the outcome tomorrow. Biloximan out!
