Busy day for me.. I'm glad that the FBI and the DOJ office nabs the alleged bomber before anything bad happen or casualities happen at the mall.. That would be a disaster.. And I notice that the DHS was not involved in this since Illnois was dealing with a threat of a bombing at the mall.. And what was the level raised before, during, and after this possible bombing atthe mall. Anyway, great job to the federal officals and the informant who squealed about the alleged bomber's plans... Cheers!

TALLAHASSEE - Amid mounting criticism from the public and media, Gov.-elect Charlie Crist on Saturday abruptly canceled plans for a pricey inaugural ball, saying he should not have approved the solicitation of donations of as much as $500,000 to pay for events.
"I made a mistake, and, yes, it was a doozy," Crist said.
Instead of capping his Jan. 2 inauguration with a four-hour celebration at a civic center in Tallahassee, Crist said, he will go ahead with a more modest prayer breakfast and open house at the Governor's Mansion.

The international hunt for the killers of Alexander Litvinenko, the former KGB agent, took a new twist last night as it emerged that a Russian businessman was being investigated as the source of the radiation used in the murder.
Dimitry Kovtun, 41, a former soldier in the Soviet army, and one of three men who met Mr Litvinenko at a hotel on the day he was given a fatal dose of radiation, is the latest suspect in the case.
German police revealed that they had found traces of polonium-210 - the material used in the poisoning - at properties visited by Mr Kovtun in Hamburg before he flew to London to meet Mr Litvinenko.
