Is Mark Foley Really in Rehab?

It's a reasonable question. Despite his lawyer's assertion that he's checked in to a program for alcoholism, the New York Times today noted that "a former aide and other associates said in interviews that they did not believe Mr. Foley had a drinking problem."
Foley's lawyer said that his client kept his drinking "a secret," but it was what led him to engage in lewd online chats with teenagers. "Mark is an alcoholic. He drank in secret. He did not drink in public," Roth said yesterday.
There are some problems with that. To begin with, we learned today from ABC that he was having a dirty online chat with a young man while waiting for a House vote. If his lawyer's statement is accurate, that would mean Foley would have to have been drunk in his office. During a House vote. Don't you think that would stand out? At the very least, it would make his secret tough to keep.

There is major difference between the rehab for alcoholism and being a ongoing pervert! Besides many celebrities and wealthy people who go to a rehab for alcoholism is more like retreat for them. So, Foley chose the world "alcoholism" to shield the media and the public to the fact that he is a pervert and a sick person. With Foley's statement, he is sending a wrong message to pediphiles that they can claim alcoholism on preying on children!
If anyone from the MSM keeps criticizing Chavez in his remarks that the Gerbil is a "devil," than they are in a delusional world. The Gerbil has created in this country a page from the bible of Sodom and Gomorrah. And you know what happen....Really a shame how much values has changed in this country...

Now we can debate on the different between Clinton vs. Bushes (since the Gerbil and his daddy have dirty laundry in which all haven't been revealed).
Let's now forget other Presidents in our past history in which had indiscretions such as Thomas Jefferson with Sally Hemmings and John F. Kennedy with Marilyn Monroe. But, did Kennedy or Jefferson degenerated this country? Not really.. As far as Clinton, Clinton was wrong of his affairs with Monica, Gennifer Flowers, and Paula Jones. But, that was between himself, his family and God. And the elected officials had no business trying to exploit Clinton's affair like as though we were watching Entertainment Tonight! And Clinton didn't exploit family values in his campaign and in his job as President in both terms unlike the Gerbil. But, nevertheless, the word "family values" in this country have been completely destroyed and the MSM are not helping with their spin of sensationalism.. But, right now, it is up to the moms and dads and the everyday people who serve as role models in this world to rebuild that word "family values" to the future children. And it is certainly not up to the next President nor the government to fix that problem!

And Foley now admits that he is gay??! Amazing... Now, I had gay newspapers in Florida have claims for years that Foley was a closeted gay and Foley kept denying that he was not gay. That is Foley's business if he reveal that he is gay but to prey on children for years and then now use the excuse that he is gay???!!! My answer would be: And??? Sorry, Foley.. People are not going to buy the beans that you preyed and had internet sex with young boys for years and while you held an elected official position because you were molested as a young kid and a closeted gay!

Well, there are other prominent people that had indiscretions. But, I certainly won't be too critical on a person because no one in this earth is a perfect person. That means including myself. And the Gerbil has really programmed a lot of people since he has been in office to a different term of family values and faith. But, this country really need to get back to basics in terms of values and respect in this country because it has been really missing for a very long time. And thank goodness for me, that I still maintain my values and respect for myself and this country despite the mess that the Gerbil created because I see many people, young and old, around me that have lost that.

And I think that what bothers me is that the Gerbil has combined both Church and State rather than separate the two.. I know that we talked about values. I forgot to talk about the changes in law by the Gerbil and company. Taking away the rights of people. I know that the red states have been hit the most with many of change of law especially the rights of women and equality.
But, I do believe it will take time for people to get back to the baasic but the people really need to want that as a whole. But, the few people in the mass want to get back to the basics.. The few friends that I have we shared the same values and respect from this country from the Founding Father's blueprint. I pray others will do the same.

Well it seems like a battle with religion vs religion since we have 3 out of 5 in Surpreme Court that are Catholic yet the Gerbil have been spreading the faith based inititative and the Christian coralition which is different from the Roman Catholic faith.. I just see a battle with both religions in the aspect of law, family values, and so on.. When we talked about the separation of church and state, it is battle in which the Gerbil has created in this country. The Gerbil tried to turned this country in the Christian conversatives when we know this melting pot society is made of so many religions and values.

Everyone gets their own religion , there is no tax and sex is a regulated industry , 10 dollars per 10 minutes, no excise, no long distance. And I'd like a piece of toast with my coffee.
