Karl and Susan just want to have fun...

"The folks around Karl Rove are on the hot seat again. The White House has launched an internal ethics inquiry into one Rove aide in response to new e-mails showing that Rove's office had far more extensive conduct with convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff than previously acknowledged. The e-mails, obtained by a House committee, show that Rove's executive assistant, Susan Ralston, may have violated a White House ban on accepting gifts worth more than $20 from lobbyists. At the same time, Ralston—who previously worked for Abramoff—was helping the lobbyist and his associates set up meetings with Rove and providing them with inside info about presidential appointments and White House decision making, including at least one matter relating to a business deal in Iraq for an Abramoff client, the e-mails show. Ralston also discussed future business opportunities with Abramoff, such as her plan to help him capitalize on the "rush to get lucrative government contracts" being awarded by the Department of Homeland Security—another possible breach of ethics rules." <more>
I think we will have to sit down with Ms. Ralston again...

I read somewhere , Rove has a thing for Katherine Harris. History question ? What was demise of every great civilization ? Money, Power , Greed ? Sure, but ultimately, it was a WOMAN.

I don't "recall" anything..

At least I don't think I do.

I don't think I remember that, actually.

Ah I have a faulty memory....

What? Scooter Libby has that too? It must be contagious, really!

Well Fitz, have a productive week.

Pinky (Rovus porkus unamericanus)-already smarting from cooperating-is now back in the spotlight. May his tenderness be brought to perfection on Justice's BBQ.

I notice Rice is doing the endless tape defense-which I'd expect from all dovetailed WHIGs. She has no choice, I think. Their lips will move and they'll say the same thing.

I wonder where the now reticent Karen Hughes is lately.

Anyway, I'm not going to party in earnest, yet.

Keepin' it all locked in imagery, my good People's Prosecutor.

Karl doesn't want a lawyer.

Lawyers don't let their clients have any fun.

Why would anyone pay anyone not to let them talk to a sexy girl ?

If I was a lawyer, I'd do the unethical and have a friend recommend me to Karl and all the boys.

Most all. No Ambien.

If I were a lady lawyer or if I was a lady at all .........I might represent Rummy. Just to get in his head.

Heck, half of these people are lawyers right ? They can represent themselves . I'll just go sit with them . Or not.

Creepy ? I learned from the best as they listened to me. I put ideas in their heads.

230 years. No wars lost. A few stalemates.

I never heard of anyone bringing a lawyer to a surrender.

Have you ?

There is no pride in hiding behind a lawyer.

History tells us ........many do not realize when a war is done.

The brilliant generals , even the ones who failed will acknowledge defeat and do so gracefully.

But there will always be fools and it may take them a few years and firing into the shadows to realize it's done.

Warfare changed and the weapons of mass destruction moved across the assembly lines.

The new gray ghosts were fast a work in the books and in every shadow of every large corporation and law firm of the nation.

Did someone say we couldn't do that ?

Pretzels, feel free to erase.
