Good Old Fashioned Paper Ballots...

you think?

"The obvious solution, as Gov. Bob Ehrlich said yesterday, is to put the machines in the closet (actually, returning them to the store is an even better idea; does anybody in Annapolis still have that receipt for $106 million?) and go back to paper ballots. The governor bemoaned flaws in the Diebold electronic poll books that Maryland used for the first time last week to check in voters: 'Technology is a wonderful thing, but clearly, given their apparent inability to function appropriately -- when in doubt, go paper, go lower technology.'" <more>
I always say - "Trust, but verify" - so paper is my first choice.

Having seen first hand the utter dishonest of some members of the Federal Government and reporting corruption as a former federal investigator I now why people do not trust the Government. Integrity and Honesty have gone down the tubes so fee honest ethical people are left in Gov. I complained about one corrupt Special Agent OID/OPR did not want to hear of it...then three years later I get a call from the FBI's Public Corruption unit,,, oops your were right can you help us now !

Look Karl needs those machines and other tricks of fraud to keep the GOP in power. It's a matter of life and death for the GOP and the White House. Without our corrupt rubber stamping Congress Bush could be charged with war crimes by the UN as what he did with secret prisons and torture. Not to mention the others crimes. Notice how all the coalition of the willing are leaving fast you'll see the UK pull out when Blair is gone. Yes this is so important on all fronts for the big business, criminals, stolen taxpayers money, payoffs and so much more but Bush could be sitting in a court like Saddam.

COMING: "SUPER CHAOS AT THE POLLS"

Actually even GOP wants a paper ballot now because the GOP no longer has a monopoly to hack the machines...

DEMs can also hack'em and tweak the votes..

It's a free for all now...

“Hotel Minibar” Keys Open Diebold Voting Machines

Like other computer scientists who have studied Diebold voting machines, we were surprised at the apparent carelessness of Diebold’s security design.

I say have both option for the voters: paper and electronic. And yes, get rid of Diebold machines and all voting machines that have links to the GOP koolaid drinkers. Again, I never had problems with electronic voting but I always used absentee voting.. But, I can understand how the people feel in the states that had voting rigging. Then, I say to the people to use paper ballots.

Even with the voting machines gone, the time may be too late...

Prosecute AIPAC NOW and remove these people, or the world suffers dire consequences as a result...

The same neocon zionists who own the voting machines, plan on going all or nothing to destroy the country of Iran.

As Johns Hopkins University computer science professor Avi Rubin puts it, "Computer scientists are pretty unanimous in our opposition" to electronic voting.

I say let them vote with Diebold machines..

Both sides can hack them now...

It'll be a good even election with cheating on both sides :)

The winner will be the ones who count them at the central location.

Independents and Democrats take note of that..

The Diebold machines must be based on the Etch-a-Sketch. If you don't like it the first time, you can just erase it.
;-)

I bet the Cubans will make fun of us again like the hanging chads thing, and offer to send us some election observers.

Linda Lamone our state election administrator should be fired a long time ago. It is the Democrat state legistlators that enacted the Diebold machines (Gee I wonder why) I guess so Martin O'Malley can steal the election from Governor Ehrlich and Michael Steele. The Maryland Democrats are running scared because they are scared of the Gov and Lt. Governor because they know deep down that they can win.

State Senator President Mike Miller and the Speaker of the General Assembly Michael Busch are responsible for saving Ms. Lamone's arse. She bitched and moaned to them because Ehrlich was going to fire her but unfortunately Miller and Busch had the legislature to pass a resolution to make the election administrator post safe meaning that Lamone is there for life which would make her a lapdog for the Dems.
