It Ain't Pretty...

Beauty Is In the Eye of the Beholder

"With the midterm elections less than seven weeks away, Americans have an overwhelmingly negative view of the Republican-controlled Congress, with substantial majorities saying that they disapprove of the job it is doing and that its members do not deserve reelection, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll."

"By overwhelming margins, respondents said that members of Congress were too tied to special interests and that they did not understand the needs and problems of average Americans. Two-thirds said Congress had accomplished less than it typically does in a two-year session; most said they said they could not name a single major piece of legislation that cleared this Congress. Just 25 percent said they approved of the way Congress was doing its job."

It is black month for the Devil and his GOP koolaid drinkers. Every dice that they roll for good luck keep coming up "snake eyes." LOL! They have less than two months left. Too little too late for the Gerbil and his crew to get on that chitlin circuit to spread the koolaid love. The koolaid love juice is drying up.

Here is trivia for you:

In mid-August of 1974, Gerald Ford had to name a Vice President. His search narrowed to three finalists.
One was the man who got the job: Nelson Rockefeller.
Another was the man who badly wanted it: George H.W. Bush.
Do you know who the third finalist was?
Answer below the fold.

Donald Rumsfeld

And this country would be in a hell of problems if we had the nursing home committed patient with a FDR mentality running the WH as Vice president!

Goog Night, Folks!

Ok this is true so listen. I lived in Jersey and voted for Bill Clinton the polls showed Clinton far behind. Same day I flew to LA got to the kids home and turned on the TV for the results in Jersey. Clinton won by 97 per cent. So much for the polls. If Americans want an honest govenment they'll vote for change if they like being robbed blind and letting our troops die for oil they will vote for the crooks.

As for Rummy being VP if that had happen we wouldn't be here today. Rummy belongs in a nursing home and he most likely would have started wars and we would be speaking the language of the country that invaded us by now.

Rummy belongs in prison. He's evil..cut his teeth with Poppy and Nixon. He should die in prison.

He's never cared about harming innocent people from the military to people in countries all over the world. He made his bucks off Tamiflu, pushed that crap in diet-pop knowing it might not be safe and we are finding out the FDA might be one big grafty joke too. Rumsfeld knew exactly what he was doing and from what I've read he was in on sessions of the torture going on---let him die in prison. Look up depleted uranium and see how innocent Rumsfeld has been. No pity.

Dummy Rummy is totally divorced from REALITY...and he's done sold his soul to the devil...

I'm with Jackie, you can't read too much into the polls; they're not always reliable...I just hope the American people are smart enough as a group to throw all of the bumbs out!

At least Tweety Bird Matthews is talking about the Iraq war, and how it is not being covered in the MSM press. Today on Imus:

Matthews: "It is like we are at war — we have killed 15,000 people that died over there in that war, we still get guys knocked off every couple of days, a couple more guys are killed — and yet it is not on the tube. It’s like, are we bored with the war now? Is that the new thing? We don’t cover a war guys are fighting? And I watch the news, I don’t see the war any more. It has been taken off television, and Bush must love it. Certainly Karl Rove loves the fact that the Iraq War has gotten boring for the American people."

Yesterday I bought Greenwald's "Iraq for Sale" video. I hope to have a veiwing of it at my home to educate others too... it is time for the War Profiteers to be taken down by a revolt of everyday citizens!

Good Morning Justice Bloggers...

PS -- I know Tweety has been a Bush-ass-kisser from the beginning...and he gives the WH too much credit and always tries to find fault with the Dems...

You don't have to like his stupid show and BS remarks, but at least he is speaking some of the truth of this war...that is still important

Good morning all:
Removing the corrupt, filthy, graft-loving GOP will be the first step in taking this country back to the people! Those self-serving, special interest loving criminals have to go! Time for change! :)

As for Tweety aka Chris Matthews well he's doing a 360 degree turn because he knows the end is coming for his friends the Bush boys. Chris even has the Libby sickness that being memory lost. Chris has seen his numbers go down and is playing to his viewers and with the corruption plus the world has turned it back on Bush it's just business. Notice Bill Clinton has never and will never be on the Chris Matthews show. Chris went over the top with the Clinton issure for the GOP and got his job on NBC Katie Couric did the same thing and got her job on CBS. Both danced with the Devil and will pay the price in the end.
