"The cable nets all made a great show of 'covering' the Senate Judiciary hearing by carrying the AG's opening statement, then maybe a question or two from Arlen Specter. Then they trotted out their legal analysts to talk about the meaning of the hearing, which by then must have been eight or nine minutes old. The hearing became video wallpaper as the cable talkers talked. They never even got to Pat Leahy, the panel's top Democrat, meaning that only Republican voices were heard. Gonzales essentially got a free ride."

And a standing ovation goes to Rev. Lowery who spoke at the late Coretta Scott King funeral. I sure wish that I was there to hear that and also attend Ms. King's funeral. She was a remarkable woman. May her legacy lives on! Way to go Rev. Lowery!

And they all took pokes into Bush. I'm sorry but Bush deserved that spanking from the leaders. Yes, way to go to Carter! I got so tired of the thumbsuckers that wouldn't say anything wrong about Bush especially in his State of Union speech. But, Ms. King is smiling in heaven! And what can Chris Matthews say: Nada. There is still a big stink with Matthews' comments about Michael Moore.

As Gonzo didn't that the oath the hearing was useless. He lied and the Senators knew he was going to lie that why no oath. These guys have stayed to long in office because they friends and letting the President becme the first United States Dictator.
I didn't get to see Mrs. Kings funeral but I heard Bushie did what he does best act stupid. He shouldn't have gone because he doesn't have the same belief. I guess he was upset his father was going with Bill. Bush used it as a photo op and I wonder what the victims of Katrina think of Bushie now. First he leaves them then he says I'm your friend vote Republican.
And nobody even began to ask the really critical questions...sheesh.
