Are You Talking To Me..?

Where's My Subpoena?
Valerie Plame, Scooter Libby, and me.

Fitz knows all, John Dickerson... ;)

FireDogLake is very adept at connecting all the dots. I could use more people like her on my staff.

Meanwhile, Rove continues to roll over those who might break with the WH:

Nice try, Mr. Dickerson. People like Dickerson are trying to play Colombo in the CIA Leak case. Dickerson should spend his time listening to the bloggers' comments. Maybe, he will learn something...And I guess my subpaena is lost in the mail like my juror service letter .

I have never been a conspiracy buff, figuring people do bad things but are not necessarily organized.
However, one of my favorite books from long ago, Robert Ludlum's The Matarese Circle, points to an international cartel that plots to take over the world for their own profit.
To me, George Bush is only the puppet. They found a high-name-recognition candidate, cleaned him up from his playboy/alcoholic/failed-businesses days, and sent him forth, well-programmmed with "the message."
At this point, I'm sure he believes it himself, since intelligent thought was never his game.
I'm guessing even Karl Rove is only a frontman. Somewhere out there are oil magnates, corporate scions, those who own enough to manipulate world markets and make those at the middle and bottom of the scale so busy playing catch-up to provide for their family, that they have no energy to fight back.
Hell, just reading the "new" tax code could break a fine person. And the medicare drug plan, does any senior really understand the choices?
I'm cranky today. There's just too much out there from our so-called leaders that is immoral, illegal and probably fattening, too.

Take care of your cold, Bluewild! Yeah, why is Dubya at Coretta Scott King funeral. He really have gall to be there after how is handled Hurrican Katrina. It is overwhelming of all the news that we hear on this blog, media, etc. And this is just Tuesday! With the rate that Bush is handling the deficit in this country, I am going to have to find another planet to live on: KPAX!

Bluewild,
The Second Coming -- W. B. Yeats

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all convictions, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

Written during the 1920s.
Feel better
Saint Brigid
