CREW Sues DHS Over Continuing Katrina Cover-Up; Bush Administration Fails to Provide Docs on Inadequate Preparedness and Response to Disaster <more>

All the money spent for Katrina was stolen by the government, govenment employees, Halliburton and given to friends of the GOP. None of the people in need got a dime only the money controlled by Clinton went to victims. The church said they were helping at no cost just because of the need to help now some churches are getting millions. Some churches gave millions for Bush to get in office in 2000 now its pay back time and yes their getting much, much more then they gave. The church is not acting in God's name their acting in big governments name. I gave from my heart I didn't know it was going to be given to a govenment employee to but golf clubs or flat screen tv or tickets for a vacation overseas. Ya I trusted the government to help the people that needed it. I guess Clinton was the only one the victims could truly trust and believe in. Now I know that too.

This administration is beyond the pale. They think that they can continue to stonewall on every issue. Good for CREW! When is the American public going to get motivated to bring these folks to justice? I gave my donations to those who were helping all the stranded pets. Here in Michigan our Detroit chapter of the Humane Society sent a team to LA and MS. I just knew I couldn't trust anyone else with my hard-earned money. PJF we are more than ready for you to start taking down this house of cards.

This is certainly demostrating the incompentence of the Adminstration from the Katrina catastrophe. All of that money to help the Katrina victims and build back those states is gone as given to Bush's base and Hallibuton. One thing is one my mind is that Bush went to Louisiana and Mississippi alot, how come he never went to or talk about Alabama and parts of Florida? Those states were hit by Katrina also...:)

I also gave money to help the stranded pets of Katrina. The pet people were the only ones I could find that were actually doing good work. I suggest any donations for people be sent to Oprah, she did more than FEMA. The President & churches being built on every corner have totally turned me off of organized religion. I would like to suggest all poor people head off to the new church and see if they help you out. After all the President gives them all those tax cuts to help poor people. I say head off to church. Also the only reason the President even checked out New Orleans was to see how much damage was done to the oil refineries.

I also have a question why isn't the public in an uproar over oil company profits? I saw a bit on Conoco Phillips profit Friday that
66% over last year (I think) and Exxon profits out today are real high. And they won't pay to clean up Alaska from 1989. You would think this would be all over the news, but you just get little tidbits. Does everyone out there own oil company stock???? Why does the government subsidize the oil companies? They should put their profits into refineries instead of their pockets. I have one word for this administration I can print GREED

I agree, Palo, GREED! People are not paying attention of the oil profits. The adminstration only care for oil and profits. If people would start paying attention on why these oil companies are making killing of profits and connect the dots, maybe many people would take a plan of action to bring down the Administration just as the people in the 70's locked arms to impeach Nixon. One side note, not only the government subsidizes the oil companies but also companies like Walmart. That is why Walmart can gobble up the mom and pop stores today.

It doesn't really matter what the President "says", because he is a major part of the proble. The corrupt Supreme Court already made that clear by illegally appointing him President. Fear shut everybody up. The Republicans capitalized on the Democrtas weakness - political correctness and fear of offending anyone _ even the criminals of this administration and their supporters. They capitalized on it and ran with it so far out of bounds that nobody know what the game was anymore and that now the rules had suddenly changed - the dems were no longer in the game, and neither was the Constitution.

I think the speech is mildly accurate but still way too "safe". You think Bush cares about what anybody that opposes him thinks? No, you're just another enemy of the state that should not be tolerated. Again he is a very dangerous man because he is corrupt, has all the power, and he's unbelievably stupid - a lethal combination.
