Fitz

I got to admit I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds really good.

Also Syriana just came out it explains the situation so clearly and profoundly.....

I'll be sure and hit up Glory Road and follow up on these reccomendations!

Don't let Libby throw a curveball on anybody now and we'll see what else we can do.....Judge Reggie Walton seems a little wrong for this job...

BTW, Fitz:

Did you see Chronicles of Narnia and Hoodwinked? From what I heard, Chronicles of Narnia is a good movie. It is based on a book. Also, Hookwinked is a cartoon. How can you compare a cartoon, a movie based on a book to a true story like Glory Road? Not knocking Glory Road. Narnia can be compared to Harry Potter, Hookwinked can be compared to Chicken Little and Glory Road can be compared to Remember the Titans (now, that was an excellent movie). So, you may have some bloggers puzzled with your comparison of movies to Glory Road. Some of the bloggers may have liked the two movies that you mention. The other two movies that has gotten rave reviews in which some of my associates seen are Capote and Good Night and Good Luck. :)

I hope the blogger who wrote the comments on this site is not Fitz but a staff member. As I totally disagree. I lived through the years of Glory Road and yes it was a time that changed the face of our country but with the good was the bad. It is a good movie for those who didn't know or remember those days. But Narnia was a story I read my kids also the Hobbits. I never thought it would become a movie. I loved Aslan and Bilbo. These type of movies let a person go to a place of wonder and not have to deal with Eron, CIA Leak, lies, theft of our government or George W. Bush. I know Fitz likes Charlie Brown so I guess I thought he'd like Narnia. Its good to go to a make believe place and let all the headaches of this world go away for awhile. If seeing Glory Road met that much to you please remember not to have that story have to be repeated in real life. Its easy to go back to the past if you didn't learn from it. Theres a child in all of us don't forget get that, its helps you smile and stay young.

Regarding Syriana...

"So, this is the enemy! The enemy is a financier group, which does not believe in a republic, which believes that private banking syndicates, which create and control money, should enslave the entire human population to the will of this banking group. They believe, as Felix Rohatyn has said—and has threatened me, personally, on this account! He said, "The world must now be run by syndicates of bankers, which are more powerful, and must remain more powerful than governments." Governments, if they were allowed to exist on this planet in the period of globalization, will be errand-boys for financial syndicates which are more powerful than governments. And they intend to keep them that way."

Deep Throat said: "Follow the Money"

After reading all of Seagraves books I walk with new eyes.
..I think this would make an excellect TV series.

The black budgets and offshore pirate stashes of the Busheviks and many other weird/shadow groups is truly astounding. Even if the 100 worst offenders in this administration are put behind bars the hidden gold will still speak like thunder from the heavens and quake the earth under our feet....

Dubya dispatched two US Navy ships and navy commandos to the Philippines to recover more gold to replenish
(his) gold reserves.

http://www.bowstring.net/shannon%20review.htm

"US President Bill Clinton continued his predecessors' secrecy surrounding Yamashita's gold. He allowed the CIA to remove Golden Lily documents from declassified US records on the war in Asia, to avoid embarrassment for Washington. According to the Seagraves, two weeks into George Bush junior's presidency, two US Navy ships and navy commandos were despatched to the Philippines to recover more gold to replenish US gold reserves."

Here's another idea for a movie:

There's a new sun
Risin' up angry in the sky
And there's a new voice Sayin' "we're not afraid to die"

Let the old world make believe It's blind and deaf and dumb
But nothing can change the shape of things to come

There are changes
Lyin' ahead in every road
And there are new thoughts
Ready and waiting to explode

When tomorrow is today
The bells may toll for some
But nothing can change the shape of things to come

The future's comin' in, now
Sweet and strong
Ain't no-one gonna hold it back for long

There are new dreams
Crowdin' out old realities
There's revolution
Sweepin' in like a fresh new breeze

Let the old world make believe It's blind and deaf and dumb
But nothing can change the shape of thingsto come

Impressive song there, brings back good memories.

Still trolls here who need any convincing this is a real Fitzgerald blog?

Well just for them come read this...
New Kid on the Block

There's copies of legal documents in that very post from places only washington DC has access too....

Fitzgerald is a junkyard dog(ever heard of stew webb for instance ?)and he keeps all his cards close to his vest.

I know each address he uses including the office address and his gmail address(posted publically) and of course his staff recently had a farewell party for Prosecutor Hillman.

That was a sad time, everyone is going to miss Hillman I'm certain because of how much good work he's done.

Some CIA whistleblowers who were very paranoid tried to come to this blog and apparently elsewhere, telling Fitz their story about being attacked.

All I can say is that the army is protecting them now because this pentagon is full of foreign spies. They are tracking CIA agents and the CIA is literally at war with the Pentagon.

I can't say much else beyond that....but our machine gun Fitz and the rest are going to get 'em...

Let the indictments run free, and may Hillman's replacement be a shot-gun with an eagle eye for lawbreaking.

I was joking about seeing Hoodwinked, but as a big NCAA hoops fan and fighter for civil and human rights I found Glory Road to be very inspiring, especially at the end when the credits were rolling and they had interview clips from the real Texas Western players and Pat Riley talking about the actual event. And John Voight did a masterful portrayal of Kentucky's legendary coach Adolph Rupp.

Glory Road was uplifting and an inspiration. It reminds us that one person can make change manifest. (We are counting on you, Fitz) Matador with old 007 Pierce B., was surprisingly fine entertainment, well done by Pierce and Greg Kinnear.

Fitz,

I guess Jackie knows you too well.. Charlie Brown, huh? As Jackie says that we should all have a kid in all of us... And I know that you were joking about Hookwinked.. We wanted to see what you were going to say. You got have to have fun, you know. I will take your advice and see Glory Road. I do enjoy inspiring and uplifting movies with a meaning.:)

Anon at 4:47...I read the post and the comments. The legal documents you mention were in the comments section, and posted by someone named J. Patrick Dohm. Anyone can post anything in blog
comments, so I don't see how they "prove" that PJF is the author of this blog.

But then again, I think Stew Webb is nuts too, so what do I know?

How do we know anon at 12:08 isn't a terrorist?

:) (btw, thats not the only thing that proves it.)

Fitz I am going to take your advice and see Glory Road. I recently watched a funky documentary on Michael Jordan, it was intense, his whole life story from being a kid growing up in the bronx to playing basketball as an NBA allstar.

I was shocked to find out michael got cut from the team the first time, that was unbelievable! He just overcame all odds brilliant movie....Now you've got a mission and got to do the same thing!
