The question about reasonable doubt is the more significant of two notes the jury sent to the judge when they ended deliberations for the week at 2 p.m. yesterday. The other note concerns the count that alleges that Libby obstructed the leak probe.
Jurors asked the judge how much of Libby's grand jury testimony they should consider when deciding whether he is guilty on that count

Whatever happens in the Libby case, it is expected in Washington lawyer circles to be the closing legal chapter in the criminal aspect of the Plame affair.

I really thought we were going to get a verdict day before yesterday I think it was ..... I guess the jury is having too much fun to bring it to an end.

That is what I thought too about that piece, Prissy. Cheney is getting more outrageous. Bush is nuts. When it starts clicking for people, it is not something one can let go of easily. I wonder if that is what happened to these jurors? I still cannot believe HuffPo wrote that, but sometimes you do wonder about them.
Prissy, I was surprised about Gates , when he found out they installed that one General in charge of the hospital that criticized WaPo on their article on the hospital (brain fog on name, sorry this is what memory problems are, dammit)he got rid of him too immediately. It is a start. (Considering Gates' past.)
If the jurors do come back guilty, the naysayers and their evil mudslingers/haters will be criticizing the jury too. And Cheney didn't testify for his 'friend' and Little Irv didn't bother to defend himself.

Dick didn't see any reason to make things worse for his own self and one true love. scooter is on his own-he should have realized that from the beginning-there is no honor amongst thieves.
when I worked in juvi the kids would sometimes steal from each other- I found it amusing that the ones in there for theft would whine the loudest when somebody would swipe their cornchips. I'd give them the ole "how does it feel when someone takes YOUR stuff..." (the mom guilt stuff worked there too;-) G'Night

Mohamed al Fayed won a sensational victory today to have Princess Diana's inquest heard before a jury. Twelve members of the public must decide the verdict on the 1997 deaths of Diana and Mr Fayed's son Dodi, the High Court ruled.

Given that it's taken the authorities ten years to open an inquest into Diana's death, it seems that they're in no hurry either.
Diana's work on the land mines would be the logical answer why the ^cough was bugging her and ^ahem wanted her dead.

Anon, as with the Kennedy assassination, there are a whole host of theories concerning who was behind Diana’s death and why.
The most popular theory here is that she was pregnant with Dodi’s child and the royal family did her in because they didn’t want the future heir to the throne to be the half brother of a Muslim.
Diana may also have had dirt to dish on the royals which could have affected the survival of the monarchy. The details can be found on this

Clearly, there was something deeply suspicious in the way that Her Maj suddenly remembered that she had indeed had a conversation with Diana’s butler, Paul Burrell, about Diana’s belongings towards the end of a very expensive trial in which Burrell was charged with theft.
I veer between thinking that the royal family are enormously powerful who can get away with anything and that they are prisoners of this institution we call the monarchy.
There are parallels between Diana’s death and the ousting of the (then) popular Edward VIII who had ruffled too many establishment feathers.
The Queen’s father, a well-meaning dullard who became king on Edward’s abdication, knew better and provided the establishment with the kind of king they wanted.

One thing I have noted is that as it becomes clear that Diana's death was no accident and Dr David Kelley's suicide was not suicide, then patsy's have to be set up. Hence recent speculation in the press that Dodi was killed by business rivals (too bad Diana was involed) and that Dr Kelley was killed by Iraqis unhappy with his work on WMDs in Iraq.
Watch for the number "211", you will be surprised how much it seems to "pop up" as you read or google.
