The Beginning Of Something Big..?

the beginning of the end - new recruits, front and center!

Team America is good, very good!
But the search for truth and justice in America could be merrier if the Fighting 110th Congress declared a War on Graft, Corruption & Evildoers...
Get busy with those hearings!

P.S. Still sealed on Pacer

If Congress DID declare such a war, it would put itself out of business, pronto.

All the best, Team America!

Some Republicans are working on kicking Gonzo back to picking fruit. Now if that continues Gonzo will be sorry he gave that press report about arresting the illegal workers. Now just picture this as Gonzo goes back to working the fields he sees a group of men he had arrested. Plus he'll have to go back to the family he said he didn't know. Well he can sell of his goods and as the value of American money is more in Mexico he might have a good start. It was a good run for Gonzo but he teamed up with criminals and will pay for that mistake.

I told you all there would be tornadoes today. Enterprise, Ala. gym of kids, many hurt. That hit here last night with the sirens going off storm after storm. Now is cold, snowy and very windy. Temps drop 40 degrees in a few hours.

Did the jury just send a note again? (Trying to not to get my hopes up here.)

Yes, you're absolutely correct about that! It may come back and bite Gonzo in the rear end!

Stay safe!

The 110th Congress had declared war on graft and corruption especially the WH. The Gerbil and company should be afraid of Waxman, the quiet one!

NPR Today, I also posted a link where you can hear the entire interview.

All Things Considered, March 1, 2007 ยท David Iglesias, who until this week was the United States attorney in New Mexico, says that his firing is tied to political pressure put on him in October by two members of Congress. So far, Iglesias has refused to name them, but that may change. Today, Congress issued subpoenas to Iglesias and three of his colleagues who were also fired.

They are scheduled to testify before Congress next Tuesday.

Iglesias is one of eight United States attorneys recently dismissed by the Justice Department. Democrats in Congress have called the firings politically motivated. The Justice Department says most of the attorneys were asked to resign because of poor job performance.

Melissa Block talks with Iglesias.

There was another angle that surfaced too. That one had ABQ GOP Congresswoman Heather Wilson egging on Justice to axe Iglesias. Was she unhappy with the Vigil prosecution that played a role in her campaign? Was she displeased that the U.S. attorney failed to come with indictments in the investigation of the construction of two Bernalillo county courthouses in time for her to use in her difficult re-election battle with Democrat Patsy Madrid? Those were the questions being posed in light of her rumored involvement in the Iglesias matter, coming as it did from reliable legal sources.

That Sergeant of Arms of the US Senate ought to be fired. He spends all day long reading blogs it looks like. I remember when he had 20 minutes a day on mine, and I only had one short post per day.

Let's start a "Fire the Sergeant of Arms" campaign.
