Carpe Diem...!

Merry Fitzmas - Inside Politics/Washington Times

"Back in 2005, there was a holiday called Fitzmas. It came in November of that year, and revelers hoped it would return again and again," Byron York writes in the Hill newspaper.

"But they were destined to be disappointed. Months passed, a year passed, and there was no sign of Fitzmas's return. Until now." <

Libby lawyers prevaricate during jury selection

Very Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald successfully objected to the way defense lawyers for former White House aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby were questioning prospective jurors. The lawyers had been asking for their opinions of top Bush administration officials and whether the officials lied to push the nation into the Iraq war. <more>

The case is about Libby lying under oath. The defense is making to much out of Cheney and the invasion of Iraq. Yes I know all that was to stop Wilson, but my daughter asked me if what I thought of Cheney of course I said I can't stand him. Then she asked what I thought of Cheney not the VP but the man. I said I really don't know him that well. I realized the question is the title not the man. If the defense would let people know who Libby is other then being the flunky for Cheney. As to date the public really doesn't know who the real Libby is. Only those who take the time to Google to be his background history.

To our dear and Very Speical Dashingly Handsome Prosecutor...

I see a long and winding road of prevaricating and obfuscating by this long-winded, pompous, disingenuous defense team. Some words to consider in the near future: Objection, Hearsay, Irrelevant, Immaterial, Incompetent, Compound Question...

And the magic 8 ball's answer:

A resounding. "Yes, Fitzie!"

Good Morning Fitzie and Justice Bloggers...

LMAO @ this quote:

"Fitzmas first came for the Fitzgerald groupies — also referred to as Plameologists..."

I object to that term...I'm not a Fitzgerald groupie, nor do I belong to his fan club, I don't even anwser to the title PJF flygirl...however, we do share Krispy Kremes from time to time...

LOL Fitzie, this press coverage is just going to get funkier by the day...very entertaining.

Go get 'em in court today!!!

Good Morning

Hey we're not "putting the war on trial" Judge-and its a good thing for Libby because it will lose big time also. ha

Its snowing in central Ohio today so maybe I take time to blog.
I see exactly why this case timeframe must occur like it did. Emptywheel mentioned it and that is what I figured but didn't blog as to potentially give away pros strategy!
For sure GMNUK, Libby only hurt himself dragging out this case-

Now Fitz AP didn't call you very special prosecutor- Mr. very special prosecutor heehee

Good Morning Everyone!

Happy Friday!! :)

Q:

FYI- No court today for Libby Trial. Jury selection resumes on Monday..which delays opening statements...

Gotta love the defense's tactics! Badgering and making one potential juror "Promise" him blah..blah..

I'm not impressed with Wells..

Now ask me about Fitz! :D

Gov Rick Perry of Texas-this shows what redneck is all about heehee they are so goofy!

Using machine guns as props, Mr. Nugent, 58, appeared onstage as the final act of the inaugural ball wearing a cutoff T-shirt emblazoned with the Confederate flag and shouting offensive remarks about non-English speakers, said people who were in attendance.

Thanks for posting about Ney! Great news, he covered for so many.

Good Morning Fitz and the Justice Bloggers...

Great Thanks are sent to the Honest American Taxpayer who is Financing Scooter Libby's High Chair in Court.

We even included a drool bib and an Attends undergarment for Cheney's "frequency" problem.

We wish Patrick Fitzgerald the Best of Luck on the Gilligan Case.

The Democrats and Independents also want to thank Ken Mehlman for all his efforts in the Nov 2006 Election.

Oh and tell Mr. Rove that his thank you tribute is coming soon!

Oh JB's listen to this drivel from bob ney upon sentancing:

"I never acted to enrich myself or get things I shouldn't, but over time, I allowed myself to get too comfortable with the way things have been done in Washington, D.C. for too long."

Bob blaming it on getting corrupted by Washington-small town boy in the big city. Give me a break. He overlooks the "grassroots" corruption the GOP has in all 88 OH counties!

Hi Geffy:-)

Hi Tee..

*wink*

Once I'd like to hear a politician tell the entire truth and be real men and real women up there.

Here's the Man version of Bob Ney!
"I Bob Ney take full responsibility of any wrongdoing that I might have made and am fully prepared to pay full restitution to all those I have wronged!"

But you'll never hear that from Bob Ney!

Because only real men would act that way!

My god, these people are absolutely horrific. How can anyone let these crimes continue on the children?

Its the children who suffers, not anyone else!!!!!!!!

If the world doesn't care about their own children, then their fate, most of mankind's fate is sealed.
