Need A Busta Move...

all the crooks in this state...

State pension systems reap
"The recent headlines reveal that U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald can help save us from this mess. Recall that the state pension board unanimously canceled former Gov. George Ryan’s $197,000-a-year pension, because of his recent conviction.
Even though the state constitution does not allow pension benefits to be reduced, state law does allow pensions to be taken away from someone who has been convicted of a crime. So now it is up to Fitzgerald to solve the $45.8 billion unfunded pension liabilities problem.
He just needs to uncover other massive state corruption schemes and convict the majority of current and former state employees and teachers. With the conviction of Ryan and some of his state employees, and the investigation of the current administration, Fitzgerald seems to be well on the way." <more>

I like the way the article says that it is up to Patrick J. Fitzgerald. You would have to clone Fitz many times to fight the corruption in Chicago alon besides Ryan.. The state doesn't have a handle on the corrupted city official Todd Stroger.. The DOJ office needs a serious budget to clean up corruption such as Ryan, Stroger, and others.

As CJ said Illnois teachers and employees pension problems are no different than CA or other states. CA still haven't recovered the billions that were stolen by Enron...

Lawyer Ends Up Dead After Taking On Rove
Wednesday December 27th 2006, 10:26 pm

It’s fishy as hell.

Paul Sanford, a prominent Aptos, California, attorney, who accused Karl Rove of treason in the Plame outing case, took a leap from the Embassy Suites Hotel in Monterey Bay on Christmas Eve. Police describe it as “probable” suicide, even though it appears Sanford was not depressed.

“Friends and associates expressed disbelief

Folks,

This is completely shocking about Steve Jobs. I had completely admiration for him and his Apple Computer business:

Steve Jobs Allegedly Steals $455,625,000 Worth of Apple Shares in 2001

In one of the saddest cases of rank CEO theft, greed and lying I have ever seen Apple computer announced yesterday Steve Jobs stole 7.5 million shares from the company and later lied by altering records to show Apple’s Board approved the 7.5 million option grant.

An option grant of 7.5 million without Board approval is theft. Jobs does not run or own Apple, its Board and the public does, and those records would not have been falsified had they not feared the truth of theft seeing the light of day.

It is a shame that Jobs chose greed.. I wonder what Robert Iger, CEO of Disney, thinks of this since Jobs is a board member of Disney and has a partnership with Pixar...

I know that Judge Walton was upset with Wilson's rep, Melanie Sloan when she gave her predictions of Libby's outcome on MSNBC with Chris Matthews. He basically put a muzzle on her to not talk about the Libby trial.. So, I really doubt that Libby trial will be live on T.V. but I think that the media will try to put for coverage of Cheney's appearance...

President George W. Bush and his top advisers made a "big mistake" in their justification for invading Iraq, Gerald Ford told journalist Bob Woodward in an interview embargoed until after the former president's death. Ford, who died on Tuesday at his home in California at age 93, said he would not have gone to war, based on what was known publicly at the time. "I don't think, if I had been president, on the basis of the facts as I saw them publicly," Ford said, "I don't think I would have ordered the Iraq war. I would have maximized our effort through sanctions, through restrictions, whatever, to find another answer."

About Iraq

It's hard work...Gerbil works allmost three hours today on a blue print for Iraq. No wonder it is going badly, he still doesn't have a map with thumb tacks...The debate seems to be what kind of surge or probably "stay the surge".

A little secret meeting at the ranch, kinda like the one with the poodle, but with Darth, kindadasleazy, and Wargates.

Meanwhile back at the Gulf the Fifth Fleet remains way oversize with everything from carriers to missile ships...An accident waiting to happen. Iran has the missiles, and the depleted uranium warheads that will take out a ship. I wonder if Dubya knows that? Because there are a lot of troops on those ships. Navy and Marines, because he said today that he has our troops in mind...

"If my years working on the clean up of BCCI and the S&L crisis taught me one thing that I would communicate today to the shareholders, retirees and employees who have been harmed, it is this: people like those on the board of Enron absolutely make money from insider trading, bid rigging and fraud, and they do so with help from the highest levels."
– Catherine Austin Fitts

While the Clintons may not be on the same scale as the Bushes, Americans surely has had enough of the con.

As a former congressional investigator tells Insight, "There is a putrid stench that reaches across party lines [in Washington] and involves cover-ups by governments which have spent millions of dollars pretending to investigate the Inslaw affair only to end up with nothing to show for it. You don't have to wonder why so many investigations failed; you only have to look at the evidence that shows there is more to the [alleged] theft of PROMIS than meets the eye. And powerful people don't want it out."

This also is what the RCMP investigators have told people interviewed by Insight about what the Mounties discovered as their probe quickly expanded from PROMIS to include a cast of characters engaged in or suspected of involvement in high-level espionage, organized crime, illegal-drug shipments, arms smuggling, murder and money laundering. In fact, McDade and Buffam are continuing to look at a case that has thwarted investigations by many others, including two congressional committees, the U.S. Justice Department, a special prosecutor, swarms of federal law-enforcement officers and prosecutors, a special commission in Canada and many journalists.

Demand justice for yesterday, today and the next generation.

Good Morning Justice Bloggers!

I see I missed some fun here last night. Some girlfriends stopped by for (freshly ground) coffee and Christmas cookies...and you know how it is-one hour gab fest turns into 4 hours in no time:-)

Geffy- bravery in America seems to be in short supply. I don't get it-all these "powerful" men on the Hill and yet soldiers mothers have to come and straighten them out?
Home of the brave? I'm not seeing much of that...Maybe "the brave" should start their own commune, apparently won't be more than a dozen of them LOL

Gone blogging! bbl

Fitz,

Watch your back...

No doubt Poppy put out a contract on this CIA/Plame lawyer now..

This should perk up at least half a dozen FBIs ears...

This warrants a ice inquest imho..

Lawyer Ends Up Dead After Taking On Rove in CIA Plame

quote:
It’s fishy as hell.

Paul Sanford, a prominent Aptos, California, attorney, who accused Karl Rove of treason in the Plame outing case, took a leap from the Embassy Suites Hotel in Monterey Bay on Christmas Eve. Police describe it as “probable” suicide, even though it appears Sanford was not depressed.

quote:
Sanford “would never have intentionally put his family through that trauma. Something’s not right, it doesn’t make sense.”

Good morning ,guys. Has anyone been able to confirm the Santos story with another source? I've been looking on the internet and I haven't found anything yet. It happened here in California.
