One Day In The Life Of Jack Abramoff...

Day Two...

CUMBERLAND, Md. -- Hours before entering federal prison Wednesday, lobbyist Jack Abramoff sent friends an e-mail lamenting "this nightmare" political scandal and predicting things were about to get worse _ but still looking optimistically to the future.

Abramoff, who parlayed campaign donations and expensive gifts into political influence from Congress to the White House, reported to a Maryland prison where he will earn no more than 40 cents an hour for assigned jobs. <more>

Good Morning/Afternoon Everyone:

The Abramoff investigation is one of the largest in American political history! I don't know how much it has cost taxpayers but I'm sure it is plenty!

Something that really bothers me is the fact that Abramoff knew about the Iraq war ONE YEAR before the public knew!!

Yes, I know.. my point is... if the evildoers hadn't done all of their crimes..there wouldn't have been the need for the investigation in the first place...that's what I meant!

I couldn't read the link to the Alex Jones site but I did see that repeated Taser attack on the student. Do the police test these weapons to see if they can "stand up" after being shocked over and over? What is the physical recovery time on these weapons, for a human being to stand up while hand cuffed behind the back?

200 deaths reported from the use of these Taser weapons? No wonder.

Voodoo practitioner tries to jinx Bush

rawstory.com

Ki Gendeng Pamungkas slit the throat of a goat, a small snake and stabbed a black crow in the chest, stirred their blood with spice and broccoli before drank the "potion" and smeared some on his face.

"I don't hate Americans, but I don't like Bush," said Pamungkas, who believed the ritual would succeed as, "the devil is with me today."

Good thing he doesn't mind Americans. Gross.

Thanks Nan for passing along Christy's analysis of Scooter. I haven't finished reading Judge Walton's rulings. I will be giving my anaylsis of 11/13/06 Walton's rulings, Walton's ruling yesterday, and Cheney and Libby's attempt to have the Wilson's lawsuit dismissed on Waterflake's website this weekend. But, I have to agree with Christy. The smurf's case is too weak since he can't use the memory loss expert to testify. And he still is going to take the stand?? Man, waste of time. But, I am glad that Christy made this comment:

But, as Team Libby is no doubt aware, Fitzgerald's staff is quite small, part-time, and not able to devote substantial man-hours in and around the next few weeks because of their regular duties.

The public and media don't understand how much of a small staff with full time jobs are working on this leak case. They are taking time from their busy schedule and family to work on this case. And it really irritates me to the max when someone like little Irve who is an attorney would use some type of sorry ass defense such as the Gilligan's defense, waste the court's and taxpayers' time, and won't face the fact that he has no case and should have plea bargained with Fitz. For any naysayer that keeps barking about how Fitz and the DOJ are spending too much money on Libby's yo yo case, they need to compare how much man power is used in the CIA leak case versus the Monica/Clinton and Whitewater cases!!!

Ok, folks..

The Maverick got a plan to put a bandaid on the the GOP party:

McCain offers Republicans road to recovery

WASHINGTON - Sen. John McCain envisions a different direction for the GOP after last week's devastating defeats — and in laying it out, the Republican is sending an implicit message that he should be the next leader.

"We departed rather tragically from our conservative principles," McCain lamented recently, offering his take on why the GOP fell from power in Congress. He urged a return to what he called the foundation of the Republican Party — restrained spending, smaller government, lower taxes, a strong national defense and family values.

Foundation of the Republican Party ???Family values??? Please... Next!!!

Abramoff can earned up to 40 cents an hour? Interesting.. Sam Waksal, ex CEO of Imclone who was sentenced to 7 years in prsion for inside trading earns up to 12 cents. Abramoff who has ties to the WH, lobbyists, and GOP party who swindle billions and one of the huge scandals in this country gets to earn 40 cents whereas Sam Waskal, an ex-CEO, and friends with Martha Stewart refused to give up the goods on Martha and willing to go to prison earns 12 cents!!! Anthony,

I hear you about the Gerbil but I wouldn't waste my breath on McCain because McCain is a buttkisser to King Gerbil. McCain is in a heap of trouble in his own state of Arizona with the Pat Tillman case. His creditibilty as a Senator is in the toilet..

Goo luck emailing McCain. I had emailed McCain long time ago and got a letter from him with a rubber stamp of his signature. And his response to me had nothing to do with my question and comment to him. McCain doesn't walk the walk. I say get rid of the garbage like McCain and others who polluted the GOP party..

I'm sure that the only two Candidates worth anything out there for the 2008 Presidency are both Democrats and they are

1. Barack Obama
2. John Edwards

Anybody else are just more bad candidates and Hillary is just plain wrong..

Those are two good candidates for a Democratic Primary...

I wouldn't be able to vote for them because I'm not a Democrat so I can't vote in the Primaries but I would favor either one to win for President.

Although I believe there are alot of Racists Americans out there who would not vote for an African American so I'd have to lean more towards Edwards to take the Primary. I slightly favor Obama but I believe the Democrats would stand a greater chance against those GOP clowns who are running...

Meaning that an Obama win would cause those Racists to Choose Republicans and come'on folks let's be realistic and drop the Politically correct bs for a minute ok. Let's get real.

Out of the Republican Candidates I don't have much to add there because these would be further insults to the already injured US Constitution...and a McCain win would give me chills of another Trickster-Lying Gerbil at the helm.

I was hoping Russ Feingold would run but he may be saving that up for a 2012 Ticket..

If we still have a Democratic Nation by then instead of the North American Union that is... *rolls eyes*

Anthony,

There are now several organization that are now demanding the impeachments of the chimpster and Darth Cheney. Cindy Sheehan is spearheading one of the organizations to start petitions. Also, keep in mind that in California and several states had on their ballot to impeach Bush and Cheney which passed in those states. So, it is matter of time for the Gerbil and his co-President to be removed.

"The only way the Republicans can successfully field a candidate in 2008 is if they themselves initiate impeachment proceedings against Bush"

And you are right about that. But, the old GOP officials are not going to take that step. It will be the ones that will turn on Bush.

And I understand how your feeling about the 9/11. And what you said on this blog how 9/11 is an inside job. Yes, that is true and you are right. The only way that we can get the answers is to remove the Gerbil and Cheney from office and get a 9/11 investigation in order and appoint an independent counsel to do the investigation. When that does happen, Fitz should be involved in that investigation..
