That swamp has become an ocean!

“When you’re up to your eyeballs in alligators, it’s hard to remember that you came to drain the swamp.”

But please start the process!

Chimpcoulter,

We need to repair the Motors like in New Orleans and start the drain pumps again...

After 12 years we're gonna need new parts too, I'm sure those machines have rusted over! :)

Yes, drain the swamp! We will be keeping our eyes on the Dems.

Switching gears. From Americablog, I saw this tape and this really disturbed me.

Warning: it may be disturbing.
OH MY GOD. UCLA student tased in library by uni police

Fron the Daily Bruin online newspaper (UCLA college newspaper:

UCPD officers shot a student several times with a Taser inside the Powell Library CLICC computer lab late Tuesday night before taking him into custody.

No university police officers were available to comment further about the incident as of 3 a.m. Wednesday, and no Community Service Officers who were on duty at the time could be reached.

At around 11:30 p.m., CSOs asked a male student using a computer in the back of the room to leave when he was unable to produce a BruinCard during a random check. The student did not exit the building immediately.

The CSOs left, returning minutes later, and police officers arrived to escort the student out. By this time the student had begun to walk toward the door with his backpack when an officer approached him and grabbed his arm, at which point the student told the officer to let him go. A second officer then approached the student as well.

The student began to yell "get off me," repeating himself several times.

It was at this point that the officers shot the student with a Taser for the first time, causing him to fall to the floor and cry out in pain. The student also told the officers he had a medical condition.

I already emailed the chancellor.. I was really shocked and angry about that incident...

Biloxi,

When we were busy watching episodes of the Discovery Channel show called Non Lethal Weapons back in the 90s, where they were showing all these being displayed, We had no idea as we were boosting the Discovery Channels ratings and that they were Destined to be used on US!

But Now we find out that Some of those non Lethals are QUITE LETHAL huh ?!

GEF:

Yes, and that is why this whole incident is disturbing. Back in the old days, there was never an university police on UCLA campus that would do that.. But, you know, thanks to the Gerbil and the Patriot Act, this is what the students are subjected to.. I just heard that there is major protest on that campus tomorrow. All for not having a bruin card??? Give me a break.. You best believe that the chancellor better have some 'esplaining to do the alumni and graduates of that school who donate money...

Those cops had the opportunity to make an impression on college youth and earn respect. Too bad they chose to earn the scorn of anyone watching that video or the kids witnessing such violence. They should be thankful that kid didn't die.

And the People had absolutely no say in it's passage..

It was rubber stamped by the backpocket 109th!

Heck they didn't even read it initially back in 2001!

Well, leftlou:
It will be really hard for UCLA to convince student to attend the university with this latest contraversy when there is an outcry by the African-American professors that there are not enough blacks getting accepted to the school. From this year, only 26 black students got accepted to UCLA. 200 black students applyed to the school. So, there is an ongoing protest on that issue. So, right now, the school system is in a pickle. And whatever the outcome is from this incident, it leaves a very bad stain on UCLA.

And you wonder why at least two cities in Calfornia got on a ballot to impeach the Gerbil? I look for a revolution on that campus...

And yes he has! He treated this country and this country's bank account like monopoly, corporate business, and a pet project. While he is busy stealing, lying, and giving away money like this is Let's make a deal show, Bin Laden is MIA and free to wandering this earth and frisbees every now and then a tape when he feels like it and made more enemies than ever oversees. And thanks to his stupidity, the terrorists multiplied in numbers like roaches because he is too busy watching the American people like gerbils and not minding the store and taking care of important business like a POTUS should do!
