Is what she did illegal? Certainly lowdown and disgusting, low-rent, poor judgment, egregiously bad behavior, but could she be charged with violation of some FCC statutes? Seems like she is using the airwaves to promote bad behavior in the service of some political agenda. I hope she is prosecutable.

Update of the states:

In Denver, Colorado:

The Colorado Democratic Party has asked a Denver District Court judge to extend voting this evening by two hours due to problems at Denver election centers.
Parties are gathered in a courtroom at the Denver City and County Building awaiting a ruling on the request.

In Virginia:

Reports from around Virginia early Tuesday indicated an extraordinarily high turnout for a midterm election, with perhaps 65 percent of registered voters expected to cast ballots, state elections officials said. That would double the midterm turnout in 2002.

From CNN:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- With polls in several Eastern and Midwestern states only hours away from closing, Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean made an 11th hour get-out-the-vote appeal in an e-mail to Democratic supporters.

"We can't take one vote for granted today -- this isn't over," Dean wrote in the note.

This comes as several state precincts are reporting significantly higher than average voter turnout for a midterm election.

Okay Justice Bloggers...

It's going to be our night...I haven't smiled so big in years when I went to vote today!!! I think I scared a few poll workers.

Jackie don't sweat it...smile (as you always say) and know we will make gains to take back our country tonight!!!

I have to pick up my little peanut, but I will be back on the blog this evening as I watch the votes come rolling in...and as Jackie says: "Smile everybody!"

Jackie,

Just turned on the T.V. after 9 pm. your time.. It will be over soon. I am positive that there will be a great turnout despite hearing some of the states having voting challenges.. Thank gooness Howard Dean is promoting the GOTV to the Midwest and East Coast since the poll places will be closing soon (except for the states that have voting issues). The West Coast voters have plenty of time.

November 7, 2006 -- 5:10 pm EST. EARLY EXIT POLLING SHOWING STRONG DEMOCRATIC TIDE IN RICHMOND, VIRGINIA. Our sources in Richmond report a heavy Democratic turnout in Richmond, Virginia, a factor that will favor Democratic Senate candidate Jim Webb. Poll workers also report a heavy Democratic turnout in northern Virginia, especially in Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, Fairfax, and Loudon counties, another huge benefit for Webb.

I hope the Secret service are wearing Kevlar Vests. I'm sure they get paid well but following a drunken hunter on with vision problems is not covered in the Job bylaws I'm sure.

We might have to send an extraction team after that reptilian..

Because there's a two party monopoly that must be broken in this country.

The Foreign Fed Bank controls them both...

Independents must continue fighting to effectively end that monopoly and cutting the strings between Lobbyists and Lawmaking is the key!
