Pages Were "Warned About Foley..."

Who, what, where, when and why?

HINT: Chairman of the House's page board, Rep. John Shimkus, R-Ill

Follow that lead, and step on it! Obviously there has been a coverup for some time now.

How would we find out who is on the Page oversight committee to see if any of our representatives need to be contacted on this?

OMG...beyond belief! I heard that rumor too...I suppose I will have to do some research tomorrow also about who was on that committee...it is so outrageous that people in government knew about Foley and they did nothing!

I hope John Walsh speaks out about these pedophiles that helped him get his legislation passed and that I supported!

Throw these pedophiles and enablers out now!!!!!!!!! I can't even wait for November 7th...that is too many days for me!

Good Night Justice Bloggers...I am praying for better days for our country and our government!

Hmmm...

Campaign aides had previously acknowledged that the Republican congressman e-mailed the former Capitol page five times, but had said there was nothing inappropriate about the exchange. The page was 16 at the time of the e-mail correspondence.
Rep. Rodney Alexander, R-La., who sponsored the page from his district, told reporters that he learned of the e-mails from a reporter some months ago and passed on the information to Rep. Thomas Reynolds, R-N.Y., chairman of the House Republican campaign organization.
Alexander said he did not pursue the matter further because "his parents said they didn't want me to do anything."
Carl Forti, a spokesman for the GOP campaign organization, said Reynolds learned from Alexander that the parents did not want to pursue the matter. Forti said, however, that the matter did go before the House Page Board — the three lawmakers and two House officials who oversee the pages.
It was unclear what the officials did.
The board currently is headed by Rep. John Shimkus, R-Ill., who did not respond to requests for an interview.
House Speaker Dennis Hastert said Friday he had asked Shimkus to investigate the page system. "We want to make sure that all our pages are safe and the page system is safe," Hastert said.
Pages are high school students who attend classes under congressional supervision and work as messengers.

Wow our elected officials are child sex offenders and all of them know about it and cover it up. No wonder our policies are changing to be so sick and evil. There is not question now that some of our elected officials aren't what they seem. How many children have been damaged by this man and others in the government. I notice with SPB's article that the parents didn't file a complaint most likely Foley paid them to keep their mouths shut.

Just the facts, ma'am.

We need to swarm through congress and remove just everybody who's taking the money.

This is war, and no offense but I had these guys attempting to break through my windows where I was ready for them with a surprise.

So lets end this bullsh*t once and for all, and convict EVERYBODY in this Congress that we can get!

Start the apple-dumpling rollover now, and nail every single person covering up the Mark Foley scandal.

We're going to replace and sink this congress, and beat plus defeat the "Ankara" Party terrorists once and for all........

Whoa last post of the night....

""Whether they gave him a lollipop on the way out isn't known. Olbermann had no comment."

What they gave me on the way out was not a lollipop, but a prescription for Cipro, the antibiotic most frequently used in the event of exposure to Anthrax.

And one of the reasons I offered no comment, was obvious: the authorities asked me not to.

Also, a New York Post reporter attempted to gain access to me by falsely identifying herself as a friend of mine.

And, most relevantly, the New York Post never called NBC News or MSNBC seeking any comment. They would have been told that the FBI had requested we try to keep this quiet.

But of course that would have interfered with the New York Post making fun of a terror threat.

It's almost melodramatic to ask why the New York Post would choose the side of domestic terrorism, rather than choose the side of the FBI.

It's interesting too that Murdoch's paper was able to get a jump on this story so quickly -- nearly as quickly, as if they'd known it was coming.

Lastly, it's remarkable that this was actually printed by any newspaper, even in the current political climate, even in the wake of my editorial stance here, even with Rupert Murdoch's international reputation.

A month ago when reporter Steve Centanni of Murdoch's Fox News was kidnapped in Gaza -- along with his camera-man -- that network reached out to the others, this one included.

They relayed that the authorities there had urged everyone to keep reporting of the kidnapping low-key, and to a minimum, because it was believed the kidnappers did not know they had gotten hold of some one 'recognizable.'

We -- and every other major news organization -- immediately and thoroughly cooperated with Murdoch's request.

Now, in a return case, Murdoch's newspaper did not even make the single phone call that could've told it the potential damage it was doing.

So, next time a Fox or a New York Post employee is in distress -- or the government is investigating something endangering them -- and Murdoch's people ask us to hold a story?

Of course we will do so.

On this end, we're still human beings.

And Americans.

And we'd never have any problem choosing whether to support the terrorist, or the FBI."

If you ask me the New York Post is a neocon run rag, and the terrorists who are sending him the threats are affiliated with the New York Post.......

Murdoch must be running from 9-11
