Jeffrey Skilling - Come On Down..

and get your sentence from Judge Sim Lake today.

"Under federal sentencing guidelines, which Lake has said he will rely on, Skilling faces more than 20 years in prison if investor loss tied to his actions exceeds $80 million. Skilling also faces more than $18 million in fines for his crimes.

Jack Sylvia, a Boston-based attorney with the firm of Mintz Levin, said Skilling is facing a longer sentence that could send him away for life. Lay's death and the reduced sentence former Enron chief financial officer Andrew Fastow got last month might be factors in Skilling's sentence, he said.

“The reality is when dealing with somebody who is middle-aged, a sentence of even 20 years can more often than not be a life sentence,” he said.

Some say that's a tough break, but as the head of the Enron Task Force...I say enjoy...BAM!

UPDATE: 24 years and 4 months for Skilling. Justice has been served. Next!

Good Morning JB's

It's too bad Kenny boy didn't get his due in this case- I'll be really mad if I find out he's living on Fantasy Island!
Fitz, a small article in the Tribune RE: Libby has your friends fighting mad, heehee I recognized some of the names in the postings.

Of course I had to add my two cents;-)

Top of the morning all
What a twist of life as Skilling goes to jail and the friend of Bush is listed dead. Now I bet Skilling wishes Bush/friends were his friends too. Most likely attention will be paid for Skilling to pay the full price for crimes that Enron did. If only he had some information that could reduce his sentence. It's all about who you hang around with. Look at Jack Abramoff letting the FBI know all those diry little secrets on the big guys.

Another Disastrous Coverup

Late on the evening of October 10, 2006, Iraqi resistance groups lobbed mortar and rocket rounds into the immense ‘Forward Base Falcon,’ the largest American military base in Iraq, located 13 km south of the Green Zone in Baghdad. In addition to accurate mortar fire, Grad and Katyusha rockets were also used.
Falcon base was designed to house a large contingent of American troops, mostly drawn from the 4th Infantry Division, stationed at Fr. Bliss, Texas. At the time of the attack, there were approximately 3000 men inside the camp, which also was filled with ammunition supplies, fuel, tanks and vehicles.
Over 300 American troops, including U.S. Army and Marines, CIA agents and U.S. translators were casualties and there also were 165 seriously injured requiring major medical attention and 39 suffering lesser injuries 122 members of the Iraqi armed forces were killed and 90 seriously injured members of same, were also evacuated to the U.S. military hospital at al-Habbaniyah located some 70km west of Baghdad.

Thanks Dream Soldier, I am not surprised. It would not be the first time that they lied about the dead in Iraq. That started back in 2003. They disgrace the living and the dead of our troops. And every innocent Iraqi that has died in this evil war.

Are the WTC '93, Oklahoma City bombing, and 9/11 connected? It took months to find out what the hell certain names (thanks, whistle blowers) had in common but I finally stumbled upon it. Sadly, the results destroys hope, and makes the red flags waving all along that much brighter.

Any citizen would be a fool not to research for themselves to find out what actually happened in their country or the world. Plus, the people involved in the cover-up, the planning, the set-up. Wonder if they thought the body of baby Bailey in the fire-fighter's arms was a great photo op? They shame themselves, their country, and the world.

Alex Jones' latest documentary Terrorstorm is another forceful piece of filmmaking that again breaks new boundaries and will pave the way for more of the same from other independent directors.
Terrorstorm exposes how Governments have long staged false-flag terror events in order to achieve political and sociological ends.
The film takes us on a journey through the depths of history from the Gulf of Tonkin, the USS Liberty and operation Gladio through to the Madrid bombings and 9/11 and robustly catalogues the real story behind the government induced fable.
Terrorstorm features exclusive interviews with prominent names such as former MI5 officer David Shayler, Ex CIA analyst Ray McGovern, Activist Cindy Sheehan, Michael Meacher MP, Former Bush administration economist Morgan Reynolds to name but a few.
The film is the first of its kind to look in depth at last years bombings in London on 7/7 and raises multiple vital questions that will no doubt become just as prevalent as the inconsistencies of 9/11 have done over the past five years, due in part to Jones' previous two documentaries Martial Law and Road To Tyranny.
Unlike those two films however, which were necessarily lengthy given the overwhelming amount of smoking guns surrounding 9/11, Terrorstorm is under two hours in length and is arguably more accessible to an audience uninitiated on the facts surrounding false flag terror and its use past and present.
The raw footage taken during Jones' fact finding mission in London just days after the bombings took place is compelling. Witness the broken windows at Tavistock square, the still relatively deserted tube stations and the armed police on patrol everywhere. This part of the film excellently documents the initial state of fear that gripped London in the aftermath.
There is also more of a focus on the big brother surveillance culture that has finally been allowed to invade our society relatively unopposed since 9/11. The film not only unravels historical events but also takes its place as a zeitgeist document of our culture at this very moment.
Jones' presentation also represents a certain coming of age. Still ever present is the bullhorning brash in your face Texan activist, but he competes with a more assured, more measured and calculated Jones at times. This Alex Jones has perhaps realized he has now crossed more into a mainstream limelight, is reaching more and more people and that the "in your face" approach may not win everyone over.
Michael McWhirter's slick visual effects complement the material expertly and professionally, emphasizing that the dystopian futuristic political climate is not a distant possibility, but has already arrived on our doorsteps in the form of governments that use fear to manipulate their populations.
Jones this time opts for a more contemporary soundtrack which again places the film within its bang up to date context and will ensure an appeal among a new younger audience as well as those already familiar with his work.
The film concludes strongly and positively by offering viable solutions on how we can reclaim human dignity and freedom and prevent the global population from becoming the slaves of a prison planet.
Alex Jones has once again raised the bar as far as the subject matter in hand goes. Terrorstorm will appeal to everyone who has an interest in modern day politics and the war on terror, but chooses to search for the truth and not just a one sided explanation of major events.

Ex CIA and Marine Intel Officer: 9/11 Was An Inside Job

Steve Watson / Infowars.net | October 23 2006

An important story that broke over the weekend and may not have been widely picked up was that another former US Intelligence insider has turned whistleblower and concedes that the 9/11 attacks represented a "Neoconservative Neo-Nazi Coup D'etat".

In a review of Webster Tarpley's 9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made in USA, for Amazon, Steele contends that the book is the "strongest of the 770+ books I have reviewed"

Steele goes on:

"I am forced to conclude that 9/11 was at a minimum allowed to happen as a pretext for war (see my review of Jim Bamford’s “Pretext for War”), and I am forced to conclude that there is sufficient evidence to indict (not necessarily convict) Dick Cheney, Karl Rove and others of a neo-conservative neo-Nazi coup d’etat and kick-off of the clash of civilizations (see my review of “Crossing the Rubicon” as well as “State of Denial”). Most fascinatingly, the author links Samuel Huntington, author of “Clash of Civilizations” with Leo Strauss, the connecting rod between Nazi fascists and the neo-cons."

Steele's biography is impressive. He was the second-ranking civilian (GS-14) in U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence from 1988-1992. Steele is a former clandestine services case officer for the Central Intelligence Agency.

He is the founder and president of Open Source Solutions, Inc., and is an acknowledged expert on computer and information vulnerabilities. Steele holds graduate degrees in International Relations and Public Administration from Leigh University and the University of Oklahoma. He has also earned certificates in Intelligence Policy from Harvard University and in Defense Studies from the Naval War College.

This is another example of how far the 9/11 truth movement has come over the past year. Before the 2004 election Steele advocated the re-election of George W Bush. Given what he knows now I don't think that would still be the case.

Last month we highlighted how Bill Christison, a A 28-year CIA career man, former National Intelligence Officer and the Director of the CIA's Office of Regional and Political Analysis had gone public to say 9/11 was an inside job.

Along with 16 year CIA veteran Ray McGovern, this trio have a combined total of over 65 years in intelligence. it's safe to say they know a covert op when they see one.

Over the past couple of years we have seen a deluge of former government and intelligence agency insiders to boldly go public with their doubts about the official story behind 9/11. This is very encouraging and sets the precedent for future whistleblowers who might be considering the same course of action.

From a military standpoint, HAARP is a weapon of mass destruction. Potentially, it constitutes an instrument of conquest capable of selectively destabilising agricultural and ecological systems of entire regions.

I agree and I think 30 years would have been more like it! However, Skilling is 52 yrs old now...so he will be 76 and have spent almost 1/3 of his life behind bars! LOL

Also, he owes $$$...

"Prosecutors have also asked that Skilling turn over nearly $183 million, which they claim he pocketed while at Enron. The U.S. government had divided that amount between Skilling and Lay. But Lay's death has left that amount solely on Skilling."

Now, how would you like to celebrate? :)

Here's to justice! *clink* :D

Are the WTC '93, Oklahoma City bombing, and 9/11 connected???

Yes!!! His name is Hussain Hashem Al-Hussaini.

After living in O.K.C. he went to be a baggage handler at Logan airport.
Hasn't been seen since 9-11-01

Read Jayna Davis book Third Terrorist.
Or atleast google your way over to her site.

The name of the game is destruction of evidence, and promotion of terror legislation. Clinton's anti terror legislation got nowhere until after OKC.

Connect those dots folks!!!

Skilling Snetenced To 24 Years

Blogger Special Prosecutor Biloxi said...

Hello folks!

I just heard about Skilling's sentence. It is a harsh sentence but justice is served. However, I am sure the investors, employees, the state of California, and others would want Skilling to have more prison time. IMHO, Skilling should have plea bargained with the government from the get-go. Skilling would have wish that he had Andrew Fastow's prison time. Fastow plea bargained with the gov't in exchange for testimony. Fastow would have served 10 years. Right now, with good behavior and reduction of his sentence, Fastow will serve only 4 years in prison. Fastow will most likely be out in 2 years or maybe less than that. In a nutshell, justice is served for Skilling but not with Lay since there is speculation that Lay faked his death and his charges were erased. No matter what sentence that each of the players in Enron gotten, it will never take away the pain of that the Enron and the major players had done.

Correction: Fastow is serving 6 years not 4 years. But then again, Fastow will still try to get his time reduced.

Here are the others found guilty in Enron:

Name Former title
at Enron Verdict Sentence
Kenneth Lay Chairman, CEO Guilty Died July 5, 2006, before sentencing. Judge dropped all charges since Lay's death occurred before appeal.
Jeffrey Skilling President, CEO Guilty Sentenced to 24 years and 4 months in prison.

Richard Causey Chief accountant Guilty Was supposed to be tried with Lay, Skilling, but cut plea deal before trial. Agreed to serve seven years.
David Delainey Head of wholesale energy-trading unit Guilty Sentenced to 2 ½ years in prison
Andrew Fastow Chief financial officer Guilty Agreed in plea deal to 10 years. Was sentenced Sept. 26 to 6 years in prison, 2 years community service.
Lea Fastow Andrew's wife Guilty Served one year in prison.
Ben Glisan Treasurer Guilty Agreed to serve five years and went to prison in 2003; sentence was reduced to three years for good behavior and completion of an alcohol-abuse program.
Kevin Howard Finance chief of broadband unit Guilty Faces up to 30 years in prison, but will likely get half that or less. Sentencing set for late October.
Mark Koenig Head of investor relations Guilty Faces up to 10 years in prison.
Paula Rieker No. 2 of investor relations, then corporate secretary Guilty Faced up to 10 years in prison, but was sentenced to just two years probation for insider trading.

Burning the evidence at Ft. Meade, must be getting jittery....they know the damn is springing a leak.
I am so happy that the 911 truth organizations have brought all of this out into the light.
We were trounced and still are in the media as crazy "conspiracy nuts" but the questions are so pointed and the facts are the facts, they can't be spun away.
I just hope all of us who have signed petitions, visited websites, blogged, won't be rounded up in the night....
