Stay The Course - Media Invention...

From Think Progress:

Bush: ‘We’ve Never Been Stay The Course’

During an interview today on ABC’s This Week, President Bush tried to distance himself from what has been his core strategy in Iraq for the last three years. George Stephanopoulos asked about James Baker’s plan to develop a strategy for Iraq that is “between ’stay the course’ and ‘cut and run.’”

Bush responded, ‘We’ve never been stay the course, George!’ Watch it:

Bush absolutely galls me. How stupid does he think the American people are? He sickens me beyond ill.

I can only hope that after we throw his enablers out in November, impeachment hearings begin. The shear audacity of this man. Excuse me while I vomit.

I am not a violent person, but I would like to bitch slap Elizabeth Dole through the TV right now. (Don't get get your panties in a wad, spies, she could probably kick my sick butt.)

"If democrats are elected we won't be safer, if elected they will CHANGE the LAWS WHEN THEY DON'T SUIT THEM."

Who changed how many laws? To protect their own asses?

I am speechless. Really don't know what to say. Looking forward to CNN and others playing this up though. What a failed President.

Looks as though the Gerbil is trying the memory loss technique! Good grief! Does he really think the American people have memory loss?

Actually, he has lost track of all of his lies! He has lied so much and doesn't know how to tell the truth!

That is what Libby Dole try to say too this morning on CBS, "they were always adjusting the course".

And she brought up Baker, people better smarten up fast about "help with the 2000 election results Baker".

Baker got hidden ties to the flow of Iraq oil?

Aww, that's okay...I yelled at the TV--"tell us about that WH scandal and Craig Spence back in the '80s!"

Well that's tells you what Bush thinks of the American people. From day one he has continued to say stay the course even when others had asked for change. Now we are to believe he never said that. Well I guess he's lied from day one and Americans have followed what ever he says so why not tell them what they heard they didn't hear. Bush has been allowed to do what ever he wants and with no questions asked because he is the President and he feels Americans don't have the right to question anything. Talk about dictatorship. As things get worse in Iraq/Afghan next Bush will tell us that Bill Clinton invaded these countries and left it for him to clean up oh yes and some Americans will believe every lying word he says. China/Japan most likely are looking at the news of ABC and wondering was he lying to them too. The answer is yes.

Any person that continues to believe Bush's lies out to be ashamed of themselves.
They are unpatriotic.

They are accomplished liers. Rove has crafted a perfect projection "speech" attack.
Dole: take the signing statements that Bush has about not following the law, and say that the Dems would change laws they don't like. Perfect projection onto the opponent.
Bush, take the criticism that he has been taking even with his own party, and say "I never said I'd stay the course, I never said that I won't change course even if Laura and Barney are the only ones who support me"...perfect. projection of thoughts and words on the opponent. Perfect Rovian Orwellian speech.
I don't think it's going to work this time. The timing is too close, even for the silliest fool watching FOX can remember the Laura and Barney statement.....I hope.
I think the GOP needs to have other cute little phrases thrown at them, like the party of "Stay and Pray", "Standstill and Fail"...I think those are statements that even Karl could love.

Oh please.. King Gerbil will still be King Gerbil. He will still run on that wheel real hard and stay the course. It is all in the name of greed. It is a crying shame that this President chooses greed over human life.

Sounds to me that in order to "change the course" something more than another fake election is needed.
