Happy Saturday...

17 more days until the mid-term elections. Are you registered? Are you voting? What is the main issue(s) on your mind influencing your vote?

I find the Cook Political Report makes an interesting read.

From the Weekly Standard

Novak writes that Hubris "never even mentions" a report that Valerie Plame "had been outed long ago" by Soviet spy Aldrich Ames. But Novak must have missed page 284 where we note that, before his arrest in 1994, Ames had served on a promotion panel for CIA officers, including those, like Plame, who had nonofficial cover (NOC) status. As we report, agency officials who conducted a post-mortem on the Ames affair feared that he may have tipped off the Soviets to the identities of CIA officers whose careers he was evaluating, and, as a result, some NOCs were brought home.

But we interviewed a number of senior CIA operations officers familiar with the Ames case--including a counter intelligence official with direct knowledge of the damage assessment report--and none could say with any certainty that Ames had specifically fingered Plame to his Soviet handlers.
---------------
Noooo kiddin! Novak (who is epitome of junkyard dog and traitor) the old boy must have immunity -he should praise Fitz, cause Novak, I wouldn't give ya the time of day! *LOL*

Restore and refine the Constitution and Bill of Rights. I understand this Patriot Act but the potential for abuse is overwhelming.

Like you say, for the people and by the people. It hasn't been this way for decades. Get the lobbyists, blackmailers, rogue government employees exposed. Foreign governments out of U.S. policy.

Honesty, dignity, responsibility.

Let voters know that NO ONE is above the law, because that is exactly what most of us think now days.

Excellent, 11am.

Do ‘computer police' have too much power?
We were held in our home under guard for five hours.

Our children came home and were also interrogated.

It was awful. We were accused of horrible crimes, crimes that even the mention of would ruin our reputations.

The investigation was to be complete within six to nine months. We were in shock.

At 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, the chief investigator of Pittsylvania County returned our possessions and said that the wrong IP (computer) address had been identified. We would not be charged.

SAN DIEGO - The chairman of the House Armed Services Committee asked the Pentagon on Friday to remove CNN reporters embedded with U.S. combat troops, saying the network's broadcast of a video showing insurgent snipers targeting U.S. soldiers was tantamount to airing an enemy propaganda film.

The tape, which came to the network through contact with an insurgent leader, was aired Wednesday night on "Anderson Cooper 360" and repeated Thursday.

In a letter to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., wrote: "CNN has now served as the publicist for an enemy propaganda film featuring the killing of an American soldier."

The letter was also signed by San Diego-area Republican congressmen Darrell Issa and Brian Bilbray.

"This is nothing short of a terrorist snuff film," Bilbray said at a press conference held in San Diego.

rawstory.com

How ironic! I didn't even know what a "snuff" film was till I started searching about politicians. I was such a sheep, I had no idea that such things happened in our government over the years.

They are just trying to get their asses re-elected and keep how bad things are for our troops and innocent Iraqis quiet. Expose all the filth by voting them out.

P.S. Thank God, I am a prude!

There will be a mad rush in these 17 days. Candidates will say anything to get a vote. Those who are in Bush's back pocket will say they think he's a bad President. If the public believes them gets the vote. Nov. 8th will be the usual stay the course/steal the money/lie to the public. If the public isn't fooled by the lies Nov. 8th will be change for the better. We can bring our troops home and start cleaning up the mess that the rubber stamp GOP made. Fitz government is as good as the people who represent it so let's hope Americans look carefully at who they're electing.

I just saw something funny on Michael Moore's web site.

Calling Agent Osama to duty as the Karl Rove ads go on TV. Yes Pork rind in running ads to put fear back in the Public as he did in 2004 election. Agent Bin Ladin will talk of threats to the US from video dated 2001. But that's not important it's more important that you get back the fear and vote GOP to save you from the 2001 threat. So what Agent Osama hasn't been seen or heard of he's always available to serve when needed by his Coward-in-Chief George W. Bush.
Agent Osama Bin Ladin was hand picked by Vice President Cheney to serve the United States of America. So when our country needs him all Bush as to do is call.

I saw the Michael Moore article of what Jackie commented. I think that is what Porkrind's "October" surprise: OBL attacks. It is another scare tactic to the public. The problem that the Porkrind and the rest of the WH idiots is that the Gerbil dismanted the whole operation and year and so ago to capture OBL. And they think people will buy this bullshit? People are not going to buy this new lastest GOP ad or this so-called hype that they are doing. OBL had enough time to find another cave to hide thanks to the Gerbil. The more those ads run the more irritated and determined the publid will be to vote the GOPs out!

Good Day Fitz and Justice Bloggers,

Voting Information! ;)

1. For those voting Absentee Ballot...

DON'T FORGET TO MAKE A COPY OF YOUR ABSENTEE BALLOT FOR YOUR RECORDS BEFORE YOU MAIL YOUR ORIGINAL IN...

IF YOU'RE REALLY SMART YOU CAN HAVE YOUR COPY OF THE ABSENTEE BALLOT NOTARIZED!!

2. Insider Information on Diebold Voting Machines and Voter Fraud!

Amazingly, Diebold makes other products such as ATM machines that do dispense paper receipts. They also make cash registers that print receipts to it's customers.

People do ask: Why can I get a receipt for my Slurpee but I can't get a receipt for my Vote ?!

This proves that Diebold and other e-Voting companies have an agenda.

3. Empowered at the Polls.

Voters and especially minority voters are encouraged to bring Handheld Portable Video Cameras or Voice Recorders to film any disenfranchisement or harrasment outside their polling places.

Record any problems runarounds to vote or not being allowed to vote.

Record Harrasment or discouragement to vote at the polls.

If you're internet savvy you can upload your video or audio to google video or youtube.

Don't take the law into your own hands. If you feel you've been wronged, contact an attorney!

4. Watch the News for Exit Polling. Exit polling is a method for gauging voter mindset. Keep a lookout for poll issues.

quote:
An exit poll is a poll of voters taken immediately after they have exited the polling stations. Unlike an opinion poll, which asks who the voter plans to vote for or some similar formulation, an exit poll asks who the voter actually voted for. Pollsters - usually private companies working for newspapers or broadcasters - conduct exit polls to gain an early indication as to how an election has turned out, as in many elections the actual result may take hours or even days to count.
-endquote

The current Poll information is pointing towards 74% of Citizens feel that the GOP is out of touch with issues. This gives one a good indication of voting attitudes.

As was the case in the 2004 Election, the Actual votes did not match the exit polling. This is a good indication of Voter fraud and there are lawsuits still pending to attest to those allegations.

An Attorney Hurricane will be standing by after the Election...

Good Luck! :)

How Sweet it is~...

Also, I agree with Anon's comment. There are people before us who sacificed and died for us to have the right to vote. And I think that people have forgotten that and the rights that we have in this country. While our soldiers are in Iraq and Afghanistan are fighting overseas and sacrifice their lives, we need to do our duty and vote and make a change in this country and elected officials so we can give voice to demand that those soldiers can come home. If you have the doom and gloom mode and just cave into the bulliness of the Gerbil, well nothing will ever change. Nothing will change from this Administration and the corrupted elected officials until you make that change first.

Good Evening JB's

All good suggestions, I went out and about today -everywhere people are mad about Bush and talking about it. A lady on another campaign gave me her number. (S-Q its the Ohio thing, we've never heard of strangers:-)

There is no way the republicans won't feel this at the polls. the dems numbers just keep going up.

The desperate emails I get from local republicans is pathetic. Talk about a dirty campaign. They call it dirty when the dems just tell the truth haha

SPB, those are the best suggestions I have seen, hope you don't mind if I cut and paste that for others.

My neighbors and other older people don't know what to do would find those points helpful.

I am going to think positive that our country will be wrested away from these thugs with the vote along with laws of the land. Only a democractic ending to this election is an acceptable outcome.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A senior U.S. diplomat said the United States had shown "arrogance" and "stupidity" in Iraq but was now ready to talk with any group except Al-Qaida in Iraq to facilitate national reconciliation.

In an interview with Al-Jazeera television aired late Saturday, Alberto Fernandez, director of public diplomacy in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs at the State Department offered an unusually candid assessment of America's war in Iraq.

"We tried to do our best but I think there is much room for criticism because, undoubtedly, there was arrogance and there was stupidity from the United States in Iraq," he said.

Maybe they were crazy and stupid as a fox too. Perhaps the object was to lose after all. After all, who is making all the war profit? Play both sides and you cannot lose.

"It would create problems for the stock market and maybe make some foreigners wary of financing the U.S. deficit, leaving the dollar vulnerable," said Michael Cheah, who manages $2 billion in mostly fixed-income investments at AIG SunAmerica Asset Management in Jersey City, New Jersey.

With less than three weeks to go until the election, polls show support for the ruling Republicans and President George W. Bush at levels that are worse than when the Democrats lost control of Congress in 1994.

Along with the big headline: Dollar could slide if Congress goes to Democrats. First war in Iraq worse because of elections, now this. Stinkin', dirty humps.

The latest "Washington Post"-ABC Poll, October 5-8, 2006, found that 63 percent of Americans think that the war in Iraq has not been worth fighting, the highest percentage of the Bush presidency.

Opposition to the war has been consistently greater than 50 percent for over a year. Yet, on the national scene, not a single major politician of either party has embraced this issue. The same polls that show a fall in support for President Bush and the Republicans do not show an equal rise in support for the Democrats.

Imagine if we all knew the whole and full truth.

Our troops have known for a long time that we were losing but the White House continued to lie. Together we can do great things so let's get the people elected who want to work for the best interest of the people and not themselves. Gary Aldrich: Well, recall that we had Ronald Reagan in the White House for eight years and then we had George Bush for four and during that period of time scandalous behavior was kept to an absolute minimum I would say, based on my knowledge of history. And of course during the George Bush administration there's virtually nothing happening at the White House that could be considered scandalous. And I think what happened then was that the Clinton Administration came to town, they were a rolling scandal. They had scandals going on at all times. The federal government, including the FBI, was absolutely helpless to understand it, to deal with it, to react to it, in what I would say in an appropriate manner and it just continues and it's continuing to this day.

This is a former FBI agent, I believe. See statements like these have to be the greatest lies ever told or understatements. Reagan and Bush no scandals? LMAO!!! Start at JFK's death and proceed from there.
