Kerry ignores pressure to share '04 wealth

WASHINGTON -- As he campaigns extensively on behalf of House and Senate candidates, Senator John F. Kerry is under increasing pressure from Democratic Party leaders and activists to tap his $14 million campaign account and spread the money around to help the party's efforts.

Kerry, a Massachusetts Democrat, has given less than $15,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee since the beginning of 2005. Though he has helped candidates in a variety of other ways, his last major financial contribution to the DSCC came a month after he lost the 2004 presidential election, when he used $1 million in leftover campaign funds to help the committee retire its debt. <more>

Now this will show who Kerry really is as he ask Americans to pick him as President. Yes he has a right to keep his money but look at the bigger picture. We watched the GOP give Billions of dollars to Iraq and then we watched the Katrina victims beg for help. Kerry will show if like the GOP money is more important that Americans. We vote for a leader who represents what America is about let's see what Kerry is really made of when it is needed. Should he keep the money I'm sure a GOP candidate will ask the question how do you call the GOP greedy when you were needed you only thought of yourself. Show time.

Let's not forget Kerry is also a Skull & Bonesman!

Kerry should give back Geronimo's skull...since the Gerbil doesn't seem to want to! Yes, the spirits are angry!!

All candidates should be given x amount of dollars to state their comments about the issues, x amount of air time, no lobbyists, no campaign funding from corporations or raising money to distract from doing their jobs. No selling their souls. No perks.

Give them x amount for living expenses in D.C. and let them know what real "public service" means. No public housing from any 'foundations, councils, secret societies, religions, think tanks, whatever'. Hell, let them live in barracks like the troops.

HOUSTON, Oct. 22 — Jeffrey Skilling's day of reckoning comes Monday, when a U.S. judge will sentence the former Enron Corp. chief executive for crimes that led to the fall of the one-time energy trading giant.

He could receive 20 to 30 years in prison and face millions of dollars in forfeitures.

China, Russia, Iran and Venezuela, through superior strategies, have sat on the sidelines and watched the U.S. bang its helmet into the wall and shoot itself in the foot. Our adversaries play a sophisticated game of contract bridge with a full deck while we continue to play the child's game of war with a handful of deuces.

We shall see if Kerry is the leader with intergity that he claims to be. You talk the talk and walk the walk. If Kerry is running for President and wants to serve the people, we will see if that money is important to Kerry. If so, then we know he is not the right candidate for Prez.
