I have been asking this on many forums and so far not one single Republican has answered it.
How is it possible that Iraq is the battleground for terrorism AND the place Bush is trying to democratize at the same time? It would seem to me that the two goals are mutally exclusive. Providing the petri dish for which democracy can flourish requires stability. So how can you achieve that when you also want perpetual chaos to keep drawing out the terrorists?

You are so right about our troops. I am very afraid for them, if woodward is right and he probably is (if he has any credibility left) I would expect to see our troops overrun and photos of torture, beheadings and unspeakable stuff, courtesy of don rumsfeld, and Bush's torture policy. All the while the GOP will blame the "terrorits at home/aka "liberals" .... it just dosen't get any better from day to day.
