"He's A Fat F*** And Can Use The Exercise..."

Nice dish, Daily News style.

Slater says Rove himself called daily — "one day, six times" — to lobby against a chapter about his connection with indicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff. The book quotes Marc Schwartz, an operative for Texas' Tigua Indian tribe, as witnessing a scene where Rove walked up to Abramoff's limo a few blocks from the White House. Schwartz says Abramoff explained that Rove arranged the sidewalk pow-wow to avoid entering a visit or phone calls in White House logs, and besides, "he's a fat f—, and he can use the exercise."

Schwartz claims Rove enlisted Abramoff to get "the fireman," Tom DeLay, to "clamp down" on a House member "who was not cooperating on a piece of legislation."

"Karl is very upset," says Slater. "He says [that meeting] was an accidental encounter. That's a bunch of junk." <more>

Karl is looking fit and trim...must be the "exercise."

Well, whether Porkrind is slim or not, graft is graft.. And graft comes for anyone in any shape or size.. He is a hypocrite to bash gays and yet his stepfather is gey and he has a strong relationship with his stepfather. Porkrind has spoken both sides of his tongue to the Church. And noe the one thing that he gave a damn about, his stepfather, will come bite him. And his cruel words to others will come back and bite him. And you think the Gerbil will help out of this one? And Porkrind certainly wasn't in the Kenny Boy/Gerbil's equation.. You can see what Abramoff thought about Rove. I wouldn't be surprised if Abramoff continues to sing to the prosecutor and give out more dirt including on Karl Rove and their "conjugal visits" on the streets. LOL!!! Abrmoff certainly has nothing to lose by spilling his guts about Rove since Rove is losing his power...

Blair's administration has been dealt what may turn out to be a fatal blow by the resignation of seven members of his Government.

Tony Blair is unlikely to survive for another 12 months

Tom Watson, the under-secretary of state for defence, wrote to Mr Blair this morning telling him that it was no longer in the interests of Labour or of the country for him to remain Prime Minister.

This afternoon six parliamentary private secretaries - MPs on the lowest rung of the Government ladder - also handed in their resignations.

Dear POTUS,

The State of Connecticut has determined that I am a "dangerously intelligent" "chemist," "like Ted Kaszynski"- the Unibomber. Therefore, as the State's designated expert bomber, I conclude that the collapse of all three World Trade Center Buildings were due to controlled demolitions: 1) the speed of acceleration due to gravity is 9.8 m/s(2); 2) OSHA would never allow buildings to have as an installed safety protocol, explosives (WTC-7), in any just-in-case-scenario; 3) heat from a gas-fueled fire dissipates upwards; the steel in the basement levels of each building would not have melted from this jet fuel fire 70+ stories above; 4) your brother Marvin's security firm had to know who had access to these WTC buildings (that Larry Silverstein rented) during off hours and should be detained for questioning by the FBI.

Is this what Former Fed was referring to?

Before I mock the NYT editorial calling for answers, let me just review the NYT's implication in this Administration's abuse of power.

* When Judy Miller was subpoenaed to reveal the name of her source, NYT managers learned Libby was trying to coach her testimony, but they proceeded to support Judy's protection of Libby anyway
* At roughly the same time as they made the decision to protect Libby, they also decided to sit on the story of the illegal wiretap program--one of Dick Cheney's pet projects--so as not to affect the 2004 election

Twice, NYT's managers were accomplices to the Administration's attempts to get away with criminal behavior.

AMERICA, IS IT TORTURE WHEN YOU ARE ORDERED BY A REPUBLICAN OPERATED MILLITARY TO CUT OPEN A SUSPECT IRAQI WITH NO ANETHESIA, AND THEN USE MEDICAL CLAMPS TO START AND STOP VARIOUS BLOOD VESSLES OR PULL ON NERVE CENTERS UNTIL THEY GET THE INFORMATION THEY WANT? THESE MILLITARY MEN ARE NOT TO BLAME. WHEN YOU ARE FORCED TO FOLLOW ORDERS YOU HAVE NO CHOICE, WHETHER THE INTERROGATOR BELIEVES THE MAN IS INNOCENT OR NOT. I HAVE THIS KNOWLEDGE BUT I HAVE TO PROTECT THE L5 MEN THAT HAVE SUFFERED THESE ORDERS AND THEY CAN NEVER BLOW THE WHISTLE ON IT. IF THEY SPOKE UP THEY WOULD SIMPLY DISSAPEAR. THIS IS HOW REPUBLICANS RUN THE MILLITARY. AMERICA, YOU DECIDE, IS DISEMBOWLING AS AN INTERROGATION TECHNIQUE TORTURE? IS IT TOO FAR? MAYBE IT EXPLAINS THE HATRED FOR AMERICA. MAYBE IT KEEPS THE FEAR GOING, THE HATE COMING, AND THE VOTES RUNNING IN FOR LIARS LIKE BUSH. REPUBLICANS ARE NOT BETTER AT PROTECTING AMERICA, THEY ARE BETTER AT KEEPING AMERICA A TARGET OF HATRED. The 9/11 terrorist attack on America which left almost 3,000 people dead was an "inside job", according to a group of leading academics.

Around 75 top professors and leading scientists believe the attacks were puppeteered by war mongers in the White House to justify the invasion and the occupation of oil-rich Arab countries.

The claims have caused outrage and anger in the US which marks the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on Monday.

But leading scientists say the facts of their investigations cannot be ignored and say they have evidence that points to one of the biggest conspiracies ever perpetrated.

Professor Steven Jones, who lectures in physics at the Brigham Young University in Utah, says the official version of events is the biggest and most evil cover up in history.

He has joined the 9/11 Scholars for Truth whose membership includes up to 75 leading scientists and experts from universities across the US.

Prof Jones said: "We don't believe that 19 hijackers and a few others in a cave in Afghanistan pulled this off acting alone.

"We challenge this official conspiracy theory and, by God, we're going to get to the bottom of this."

In essays and journals, the scientists are giving credence to many of the conspiracy theories that have circulated on the internet in the past five years.

They believe a group of US neo-conservatives called the Project for a New American Century, set on US world dominance, orchestrated the 9/11 attacks as an excuse to hit Iraq, Afghanistan and later Iran.

The group says scientific evidence over the attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon is conclusive proof.

Professor Jones said it was impossible for the twin towers to have collapsed in the way they did from the collision of two aeroplanes.

He maintains jet fuel does not burn at temperatures high enough to melt steel beams and claims horizontal puffs of smoke seen during the collapse of the towers are indicative of controlled explosions used to bring down the towers.

The group also maintains World Trade Centre 7 - a neighbouring building which caught fire and collapsed later in the day - was only partially damaged but had to be destroyed because it housed a clandestine CIA station.

Professor James Fetzer, 65, a retired philosopher of science at the University of Minnesota, said: "The evidence is so overwhelming, but most Americans don't have time to take a look at this."

The 9/11 Commission dismissed the numerous conspiracy theories after its exhaustive investigation into the terror attacks.

Subsequent examinations of the towers' structure have sought to prove they were significantly weakened by the impact which tore off fire retardant materials and led the steel beams bending under heat and then collapsing.

Christopher Pyle, professor of constitutional law at Mt Holyoake College in Massachusetts, has dismissed the academic group.

He said: "To plant bombs in three buildings with enough bomb materials and wiring? It's too huge a project and would require far too many people to keep it a secret afterwards.

"After every major crisis, like the assassinations of JFK or Martin Luther King, we've had conspiracy theorists who come up with plausible scenarios for gullible people. It's a waste of time."

But University of Wisconsin assistant professor, Kevin Barrett, said experts are unwilling to believe theories which don't fit into their belief systems.

He said: "People will disregard evidence it if causes their faith to be shattered. I think we were all shocked. And then, when the voice of authority told us what happened, we just believed it."

As the fifth anniversary approached, the 9/11 Scholars for Truth is urging Congress to reopen the investigation claiming they have amassed a wealth of scientific evidence to prove their version of the terror attacks.

Chick must be able to predict history or some evil pedophiles had plans. First, her daddy got *busted* for selling her pictures in kiddie porn but he didn't get arrested. No, he was taught how to 'groom' her and to bring her to various sites, then gave her to certain public people to further her "education". This was back in the Iran-Contra days, same crooks are back. That one picture of Ambien not so long ago, Cathy said (years ago) he scared children because of this. Get the picture? It should make want you to puke and then lynch.

Abramoff treated Rove as if he was dog doo on Abramoff's shoe!

The car headed in the direction of the White House, but stopped short at a street corner, where Schwartz says he saw Rove standing outside. Moore and Slater write:

As the car came to a stop, Abramoff stepped out, and Schwartz lowered his window. The first part of the conversation between Abramoff and Karl Rove was easily heard.
"We've got a problem, Jack." Rove mentioned a member of the House who was not cooperating on a piece of legislation. Schwartz was unable to hear the congressperson's name. "And this is getting really out of hand. We need to clamp down. We need this to stop. Can you put the fireman [Tom DeLay] on this and let Tom know we need this ended? This is not good for us."
"You bet," Abramoff told the presidential adviser. "Taken care of. Not a problem. On it."

Schwarz then raised his window, because the conversation he'd just heard "sounded private," the duo write. But when Schwartz later asked Abramoff why he'd met Rove on the street, Schwartz says Abramoff replied:

"Yeah, it's just easier.... Like I said, everything that comes out of the White House is logged in. The phone calls he makes. The phone calls he receives. So this is just easier. It keeps things a lot cleaner. And he's a fat f---, and he can use the exercise. If the weather's nice, we meet in a couple of spots, and if not, he'll drive over and come in through Signatures [Abramoff's restaurant] or one of the other spots."

Dear e,

Thanks for the news. I am a scientist. The only aspect of 9/11 I believe was enhanced, or is optimized intelligence, was the WTC and the pre-planted explosives. I quite honestly cannot guess or undertake any of the other "maybees" about any of the other things that happened on 9/11. That's the one thing that can easily be proven.

It also is the only thing not answered by any of the conspiracy debunkers paid for by Bush dot duh.

There is no way anyone could have rigged Building 7 during the day, on 9/11, *after* the planes hit, and *before* Building 7 was "pulled," with the hardware for a controlled demolition.

The explosives had to be in there before 9/11 and OSHA would never allow it.

I'm kinda familiar with OSHA. I worked at Pfizer. We've seen a lot of OSHA. Nobody plants thermite as a building safety measure.

Well, the smurf's case should be closed because of the sensitivity and confidential classified documents.. I will be looking to forward to the outcome of both hearings in this month and next month... As far as the ABC 9/11 movie, the only way people can make a statement to Disney and to CEO, Rober Iger is to:

1. Don't want the show!
2. Don't buy any of the products who are sponsoring the movie and Disney.
3. Don't buy any Disney products and go to Disneyworld or Disneyland.

That is the way to really make a true statement to ABC and Disney: the wallet!

And the commments about Katie Couric's debut as the anchor person on CBS News. Again, Couric is not a journalist. She is belongs on Entertainment Tonight.. She should at least used her summer to work with with other journalists who have experience. She should given Anderson Cooper a call... But, I will say that Brian Williams from NBC Nightly News did wish her the best. ABC didn't do that... And I know that Couric's interview with the Gerbil will be a suck-up interview. If they wanted a woman as an anchor on CBS News, they should should have chosen Ann Curry IMHO. Ms. Curry is more of journalist than Couric. And they are around the same age. Couric should have stayed where she had belong on the Today show!

Friday before 9/11 I had drinks at McSorley's New York with 4 geology colleagues, two of whom were women Phds from Turkey. They told me they were here that week for FEMA earthquake recovery training.

Turkey had a huge earthquake two years before and they were still recovering.

I thought it odd that training was two years later but figured that was the scheduling.

Since 9/11, which I watched from my NE roof a mile away, after the 1st plane hit, I have always had a gut feeling about that meeting but never said anything. I watched the way the towers fell and it has been a disconnect ever since with the "official explanation".

The agency, "whose job includes fighting workplace sex discrimination," advised women to "avoid tight pants and, 'before choosing a skirt to wear, sit down in it facing a mirror.'"

And didn't say anything of the men. I guess we have to avoid the unbuttoned shirt showing chest hairs, the exotic and killer cologne, and the exchange of conversations at the watercooler on what color briefs we are wearing today! LOL! That other company or office will have a fashion police!!!

About time bubba used his high iq.

Here's an interesting one, speaking of 911

Thwarting skyjackings from the ground Oct. 2, 2001

Technology now exists that could allow a ground crew to override and direct the flight path of a hijacked plane.

Following the Sept. 11 attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center, President George W. Bush called for the creation of a system that would enable air traffic controllers on the ground to assume remote control of the aircraft and direct it to a safe landing at a nearby airport.

The military has employed this capability since the 1950s. Modifying and implementing the technology for use on passenger carrying aircraft in the United States would involve significant capital outlay, research and testing. But from an engineering standpoint, landing an aircraft automatically is a relatively simple matter.

canadians-blame-u-s-9.html

A majority of Canadians believe U.S. foreign policy was one of the root causes that led to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, and Quebecers are quicker to criticize the U.S. administration for its international actions than other Canadians, a recent poll suggests.

Those conclusions are found in a newly released poll conducted by Léger Marketing for the Association for Canadian Studies.

The poll suggests that 77 per cent of Quebecers polled primarily blame American foreign policy for the Sept. 11 attacks. The results suggest 57 per cent in Ontario hold a similar view.

When participants were given the option of choosing more than one cause for the attacks, two-thirds blamed Islamic fundamentalists and their anti-Western views, while a third pointed the finger at Israel and its position in the Middle East.

Not surprising, watch more countries follow, Canada has lost several soldiers in Afghanistan the last few weeks. Perhaps if Bushco would have finished the job there (before moving on to another war so quickly) or never started in the first place. After all, aren't people finding that a pipeline (among another possible reason) made Afghanistan a good target? I read somewhere Cheney was talking to the Taliban before 9/11 ever happened.

Letter from a 9/11 widow to Mann Coulter:

Dear Ann,

But for the murder of our husbands on 9/11, we would not have gone to Washington to fight for an independent 9/11 investigation. Our involvement in national security would have begun and ended at the voting booth, like most citizens. But for the initial failure of our leaders and elected officials to create an independent 9/11 Commission to investigate the terrorist attacks, we would not have not been forced to publicly fight for it.
