So Bush shows up for a funeral for someone he supposedly didn't know that well, but he won't attend any funerals of US soldiers. What a complete mockery of and insult to every single member of the US Armed Forces who has lost their life on Bush's watch.
I just read about the funeral on the WSJ. Talk about staged events! Only people on a list were allowed to funeral. If you weren't on the list, you were pitched out! Reporters were banned. And this is supposed to be an opened service. Amazing.. You would have thought Lay's funeral was a military funeral. Glad that I am no where near Texas!
I guess they didn't want all the people who got screwed over from Lay & Skilling there!
And of course, Grandmanuk that Gerbil 41 and his wife would show up since Daddy Bush was tight with Kenny Boy! I think Lay cheated death and hiding out in the Cayman Island somewhere. But, he opens his mouth to the Feds to confess some secret of Enron, Lay, and more names, this can be put his life in jeopardy. People are thinking that Enron is just some big erengy company in Texas. But, Enron was a lot more than just a energy company. Enron was the #4 company in the world that was backed by the elite, international companies, and powerful leaders and corporations (Saudias, Carlyle Group, The Gerbils/Bushs, Cheneys, etc.) I had said sometime last year about Enron that all the current scandals include Enron all have ties up to food chain: Gerbil Administration. And the only way to understand is follow the money trail. Guarantee you this, that there is lot more to Coulbeck's death and being the key American person to the Enron connection.

Here in Phoenix, the victims are random...someone at a bus stop, someone walking on the street, and a husband and wife parked in their car. He killed the husband in an alley and then took the wife to another location and killed her! It is crazy!

The U.S. army will end a controversial deal with a major defense contractor that provides logistical support to U.S. troops worldwide and was linked to U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.
The decision, which cuts deeply into Halliburton's dominance of government contracting in Iraq, came after several years of attacks from critics who saw the contract as a symbol of politically connected corporations profiteering on the war.
The problems in DC and Phoenix are all caused because they don't have enough Chemists there.

At all costs, we must protect Nix's Check Cashing
The Department of Homeland Security looked rather silly last month when it announced new anti-terrorism grants for states and localities, which slashed money for Washington, D.C., and New York City. Making matters worse, a risk scorecard for NYC concluded that the home of the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and Brooklyn Bridge has "zero" national monuments or icons.
Yesterday, DHS managed to look even worse.
It reads like a tally of terrorist targets that a child might have written: Old MacDonald's Petting Zoo, the Amish Country Popcorn factory, the Mule Day Parade, the Sweetwater Flea Market and an unspecified "Beach at End of a Street."
But the inspector general of the Department of Homeland Security, in a report released Tuesday, found that the list was not child's play: all these "unusual or out-of-place" sites "whose criticality is not readily apparent" are inexplicably included in the federal antiterrorism database.
The National Asset Database, as it is known, is so flawed, the inspector general found, that as of January, Indiana, with 8,591 potential terrorist targets, had 50 percent more listed sites than New York (5,687) and more than twice as many as California (3,212), ranking the state the most target-rich place in the nation.
The database is used by the Homeland Security Department to help divvy up the hundreds of millions of dollars in antiterrorism grants each year, including the program announced in May that cut money to New York City and Washington by 40 percent, while significantly increasing spending for cities including Louisville, Ky., and Omaha.
Auditors also questioned entries such as "Nix's Check Cashing," "Mall at Sears," "Ice Cream Parlor," "Tackle Shop," "Donut Shop," "Anti-Cruelty Society," and "Bean Fest."
Keep in mind, this database has taken years to put together — and this isn't the first time the DHS has screwed it up.
Fitz, check to see if the place that you pick up your Krispy Kreme donuts are on the DHS list. And I know that you gave up the donuts. After all, you are a seafood diet! (see a food and eat it) But, we have to have the donut shop and especially Nix's Check Cashing!

About the Army cutting loose Halliburton. This is no skin off of the Baron's nose. He may set up a dummy company (or front)in which businesses can contract with that dummy company. An dummy company is Halliburton. Chaney may the use same method as DeLay and Abramoff. Cheney is a smart businessman. So, this lost by the Army is not goingto damper his profit. He has one hell of a portfolio of shares and dividends! Yet, we still need to remove the milk machine!

Neil Coulbeck, a former Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) executive, had given evidence to the US law enforcement agency about the alleged fraud case.
He disappeared from his home in Woodford Green, east London, last Thursday and his body was found by a dog walker in nearby parkland on Tuesday.
One of the NatWest Three said he "hoped to God" the death was not linked with his case - but there were claims that Mr Coulbeck had been under pressure after repeated meetings with US agents.
He has not yet been formally identified but his wife Susan has been informed of the discovery by police

Why we can't follow the money
The Pentagon is at war with the Congressional Research service about the cost of the Iraq war so far and how much we will have spent by next year. The Congressional Research Service (CRS) says that the total cost of the war so far is $319 billion but the DOD says it is $210 billion. It is comparing apples and oranges because the CRS is counting all the money that has been spent and the money that has been appropriated and the DOD is counting just money that has been spent.
CRS estimates that the cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will top $500 billion next year and that Congress has increased their appropriations 72% since 2004. They can't explain the large jumps in costs in operations and maintenance costs because the amount of troops have stayed the same. The debate goes on and on about the overall and rising costs.
