Well, Porkrind certainly had a biscuit in his mouth he said this about Clinton:

When Rove started out talking about the estate tax, he said that Clinton "may have been misinformed" about his facts and figures, then mentioned he knew what Clinton had said through his NSA spies.

Clinton is well informed about the situation especially the graft with within the Gerbil Administration. And I noticed that he wasn't all that confident when it was asked about the leak case which tell you that the "architect" is still scared as shit that he is not all in the clear in the leak case and that the big bad wolf Fitzgerald will nab him! He just trying to show a confidence face! His temporary freedom card will be stamped "expixed" very soon.

Karl better be carefull about his comments on the Plame case. He knows he's not out of the woods yet and his words/statements can come back an bite him where he sits. Loose lips sink ships and people. Now we know Karl is no match to Bill Clinton. I hope Judge Walton is paying attention to the leaks/spin/changing stories of the Defense team. People don't forget Seal vs Seal I know Karl Rove hasn't forgotten even if he trys to act like it's over. This is bad but I'll say it anyway maybe Libby can fake his death and go to the islands to get out of going to jail. I know Jack/Duke wish the Bush team had helped them too.

Chimpcoulter,

The bottom line is that Porkrind is scared to death of Fitz. Now, he can give all the bullshit and blah, blah, blah, to the journalists about the leak case, elections. etc. But, his days are numbered with the temporary freedom pass. He is in so much crap other than leak case that he will be trading his Armani attire for a orange jumpsuit! He better get his taste buds ready for collards greens and chitlins because his caviar days are going to be over soon.

White House Accuses Clinton of Sending ‘Flowers and Chocolates’ To Kim Jong-il

Let’s review the progress of North Korea’s nuclear program during the last three administrations:
1. George H. W. Bush: one to two bombs’ worth of plutonium
2. Bill Clinton: zero plutonium
3. George W. Bush: 4-6 nuclear weapons’ worth of plutonium

Is safe for me to say that Snowjob is an asswipe?

You know that it is getting a bit irritating from the Gerbil Administration and Snowjob to blame for everything that goes wrong from the past 5 years that the Gerbil had crawled in the Oval office on Clinton! We might as well blame all of the rapes, murders, kidnappings, hip replacements, hemorrhoid operations, and so on on Clinton! The Administration including Snowjob are downright retarded!

Judge upholds FBI's search of lawmaker's office
Mon Jul 10, 2006 4:34 PM ET

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A federal judge on Monday upheld the FBI's unprecedented search of the office of U.S. Rep. William Jefferson, a Louisiana Democrat who is the target of a bribery investigation.

U.S. District Court Chief Judge Thomas Hogan also denied a request by Jefferson's lawyers to have the materials seized in the May raid returned.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A federal judge on Monday upheld the FBI's unprecedented raid of a congressional office, saying that barring searches of lawmakers' offices would turn Capitol Hill into "a taxpayer-subsidized sanctuary for crime."

Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas F. Hogan rejected requests from lawmakers and Rep. William Jefferson to return material seized by the FBI in a May 20-21 search of Jefferson's office.

The overnight search was part of a 17-month bribery investigation of Jefferson, a Louisiana Democrat.

In a 28-page opinion, Hogan dismissed arguments by Jefferson and a bipartisan group of House leaders that the raid violated the Constitution's protections against intimidation of elected officials.

Hogan acknowledged the "unprecedented" nature of the case. But he said the lawmakers' "sweeping" theory of legislative privilege "would have the effect of converting every congressional office into a taxpayer-subsidized sanctuary for crime."

A member of Congress is bound by the same laws as ordinary citizens, said the judge, who had approved the FBI's request to conduct the overnight search of Jefferson's office.

Will Ann Coulter be dropped from The Shreveport Times? The paper says it’s been “buried alive under an avalanche” of emails over the question, but has “yet to make a decision.”

“President Bush will likely cast the first veto

of his presidency if the Senate, as expected, passes legislation to expand federal funding of embryonic stem-cell research, White House aide Karl Rove said today. ‘The president is emphatic about this,’ Rove said in a meeting with the editorial board of The Denver Post.”

White House asks for dismissal of NSA wiretap suit
Mon Jul 10, 2006 1:57 PM ET

Click Source

By Jui Chakravorty

DETROIT (Reuters) - The Bush administration on Monday asked a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit challenging the National Security Agency's domestic eavesdropping program, arguing that defending the four-year-old wiretapping program in open court would risk national security.

In arguments before U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor in Detroit, the American Civil Liberties Union on Monday renewed its call for a court order that would force the government to suspend its program of intercepting without a court order the international phone calls and e-mails of U.S. citizens.

But the U.S. Justice Department has asked federal judges in Detroit and New York to throw out the landmark challenges to the eavesdropping program.

In both cases, the Bush administration has invoked a legal doctrine known as the "state-secrets privilege" that it has used to head off other court action spy programs.

"If the court accepts the state-secret argument, we are truly facing a constitutional crisis in this country," Michael Steinberg, legal director for ACLU Michigan, told reporters after the hearing.

The ACLU, which filed the lawsuit in January, argues that the NSA wiretaps violate free-speech and privacy rights protected by the U.S. Constitution.

Government lawyers on Monday argued that the NSA program was key to protecting national security.

"This program targets members or agents of al Qaeda," Anthony Coppolino, the lead attorney for the Department of Justice said in the hearing, which lasted an hour and a half.

Coppolino said the program was "well within bounds of the law" and that it was needed to "detect and prevent foreign terrorist threats in the United States."

Taylor, who was appointed to the federal bench in 1979 by then-President Jimmy Carter, adjourned court without indicating when she would rule on whether the lawsuit can proceed.

Several individuals and groups -- including the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the American-Arab Discrimination Committee, the Asian American Legal Defense and members of Congress -- have filed briefs in support of the ACLU's claim.

The lawsuit was prompted by President George W. Bush's disclosure in December that he had authorized the warrantless eavesdropping shortly after the September 11 attacks in order to track suspected communication from al Qaeda operatives.

U.S. officials have declined to provide details on how widely the NSA wiretaps have been used or what communications have been intercepted.

The ACLU said it expected a decision soon from Taylor. "She has so far been proceeding quite quickly," said the ACLU's associate legal director Ann Beeson.

The ACLU filed its lawsuit on behalf of scholars, attorneys, journalists and nonprofit groups that regularly communicate by phone and e-mail with people in the Middle East.

The case was filed in Detroit because the area is home to one of the largest Arab populations outside the Middle East.

The Center for Constitutional Rights has a parallel case pending before a federal judge in New York.

Iraq says to ask U.N. to end US immunity

In an interview a week after Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki demanded a review of foreign troops' immunity, Human Rights Minister Wigdan Michael said work on it was now under way and a request could be ready by next month to go to the U.N. Security Council, under whose mandate U.S.-led forces operate in Iraq.

"We're very serious about this," she said, adding a lack of enforcement of U.S. military law in the past had encouraged soldiers to commit crimes against Iraqi civilians.

"We formed a committee last week to prepare reports and put it before the cabinet in three weeks. After that, Maliki will present it to the Security Council. We will ask them to lift the immunity," Michael said.

"If we don't get that, then we'll ask for an effective role in the investigations that are going on. The Iraqi government must have a role."

Analysts say it is improbable the United States would ever make its troops answerable to Iraq's chaotic judicial system.

"Chaotic legal system?" But isn't that the same one they are using on Saddam? Personally, I think they are mad about the pre-1991 WMD's found (with English labels!) because
Saddam never paid Rummy for them ;-)

You are so bad with your pic of Fitzgerald. I think that if someone slipped a picture of Fitz in front of Porkrind, I think that the man would have diarrhea. Could you imagine if there were a dinner event and Fitz sat on the left side and Clinton sat on the right side and Porkrind was in the middle, Porkrind would lose his appetite and then excuse himself and say that he has to go to the pit stop and wouldn't come back!

And thanks a lot for using my name when I am not on the blog to answer S-Q, you little sneak! He he..

S-Q,,

GEF is right. there is more than one person. But, the Baron is not the mastermind. Now, you want to know who is the person. Well, every major corporation has a CEO. You have to ask yourself? 1. Powerful GOP Congressman defies Bush

According to a story in Tuesday's New York Times, Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.), the powerful chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is the primary impediment to George W. Bush's plans for immigration reform, Raw Story has learned.
The Times says of him, "Sensenbrenner, 63, can be neutrally described as a Washington piece of work -- a big-bellied curmudgeon with a taste for old Caddies, pontoon boats and enormous cigars. He is equally at home discussing policy minutiae or the disgusting details of his Dalmatian's recent intestinal problems."

GEF,

You are dead meat, man! And don't give my girlfriend any ideas.. And nice photo for your girlfriend. She looks a lot more attractive than Mann Coulter... Now, do I hear wedding bells between you two?? Hmmm??? And send me your wedding photos. Those pics will be the next Pitt/Jolie or Bennifer!
