"Fitzgerald is obliged to hold a press conference and make an announcement. It just means that he has given Rove a 24-hour formal notification. Fitzgerald is not obliged to make an announcement at any point; he does so at his own discretion, and not if it compromises his case." It just a waiting game, folks.. I feel so bad for Jason... He certinly took a beating this week with naysayers.. The truth will come out, And when the truth comes out and Fitz holds the press conference for Rove's indictment those naysayers need to give Jason an apology... He just a journalist that is seeking the TRUTH and many journalists and media don't carry that type of intergrity that Jason holds so true....

On Saturday night, attorney Robert Luskin was trying to barbecue at his Washington home when the phone started ringing nonstop. A story posted on an Internet site Truthout.org reported that his client, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove, had been indicted.
Mr. Luskin says he issued an explicit denial to anyone who contacted him. But the story set off a fire storm, with reporters from newspapers, television and elsewhere seeking to check its veracity, and Web log writers seeking comment.
... Mainstream news organizations say bloggers can say something is going to happen every day for months and then claim to be ahead of the pack when it does -- or forget about it when it doesn't. Bloggers complain that traditional reporters don't credit them for scoops when they are proved right.
"It's not that this is a completely new dynamic," says Mark Feldstein, a journalism professor at George Washington University, who says the tabloid press used to be this type of incubator. But the Internet makes blogs "much more ubiquitous and instantaneous."
I think we're all patiently (tap tap tap) waiting for the good news - and yes for Jason's vindication.
He went out on a limb - and I hope he was right! Although I have a tremendous amount of faith in Fitz...after all, look what Ken Starr managed to do to Clinton with NOTHING!!!

The real Patrick Fitzgerald could clear this up for us with a simple yea or nay. You would think he could do that much for his loyal fans. Fitz, give us a hint. If anyone knows you should.
Fitz, you don't have to give the details. Just say, yes there was a 15 hour meeting or there wasn't. Don't leave us hanging like this. Can you verify anything that Jason Leopold said as being true or was it total fabrication?

As I told many of my colleagues that the truth will come out. I know that Rove woll be indicted. You don't need to convict me. I told peole that I have read all of your article and I trust your integrity... You are one of the few independent journalists who is seeking the truth and not to give the readers a bunch of fluff and bs. There is blogger from Germany who is journalist that applaud your work. I only sent him email to simply priase him. Jason is a very sensitive person and needs to be edified a lot.. Alot people on this blog don't know Jason Leopold's background. He came from not a good life as putting it mildly... Yes, there is mixed signals of the press about this case. Unfortunately, Fitz and Jason are targets for public scrunity....
It would be easier to support Jason if he got it right on occassion. His batting average hasn't been so good the past few weeks. It appears the mainstream press sees Mr. Leopold as a buffoon.

But, other people on this blog don't know Jason's background.. That's why I said that... Whe I first read his articles, I started to do some research into him and found out.. From what he had to deal with from his past, he has turned out to be a great person to beat all odds.. But, from frequent emails to him, again, he is a very sensitive person who has never been given praise... Ithink it time for Jason to get the recognition that he is long overdue for...

News Flash, Lame Duck Bush gets his tax cut extention passed over objections of Democrats crying foul, "it is a tax break for the rich". Go figure.
When the Rove arrest is made I suggest we send Fitz ties instead of flowers or balloons. Then he won't have to worry about his TV appearences. If he gets too many ties he can share them with his staff.

I finally figured out just "who" Fitz reminds me of.
Vincent Bugliosi
When he went after Charles Manson, it was detailed, methodical, by the book, and 100% straight arrow - all i's dotted and t's crossed. He pursued his quarry like a pit bull - but he never sunk into the mud and dirt to do it.
Everything Bugliosi did was backed up and double checked so Manson couldn't slip through a crack.
This is what I hope and believe Fitz is doing.
God help us if one little t is left uncrossed - because Rove will fatroll his way through any opening he can find.
The way Fitz operated though, I cannot see Rove OR Cheney wiggling out. This is how you make an airtight case - patience and diligence...
although personally it's making ME crazy!!!
I still think Jason will be vindicated - they're using him as a whipping boy. A shame!

Ok I know Rove is as good as gone it's just a matter of time and a short time at it. Now Fitz did you read the info on your boss Gonzo. When it comes to our family history we all have one but some seem to choose to forget like Gonzo does. He and Connie are so funny their trying to earse their history and become Bushies. Just looking at both of them tell volums. Gonzo is a product of immigrates coming to America for jobs and freedom. Now Gonzo has forgotten that. With the comments by the Bush Administration on tar baby and waiting to help the gulf victims, Gonzo and Connie better hope the Bush Family doesn't include them as minortiess if so Connie might be Laura's maid and Gonzo the yard keeper as their next jobs.
