And Daddy Gerbil is still wondering why his son, the Gerbil, didn't listen to him. Instead King Gerbil listened to the Turdblossom.. Yeah, the Gerbil tried to finish the job that his daddy didn't do: get Hussein! And he did but the wrong way... And noticed that Daddy Gerbil is now snuggling up to the Clinton's lately. Is because of Bill Clinton's cologne or deodorant??? No! For brownie points with Bill and Hillary... His son messed up the reputation of the family, ruined some business relationship with the Saudias, and messed up the blueprint of graft that was created from the get-go.. Daddy Gerbil is probably wondering if Dubya is really is son or maybe his real son that was switched from birth is out there...

Ok, I'm finally seeing the light... I think.

"Assistant Attorney General William Moschella told Congress last month that 9,254 National Security Letters were issued in 2005 involving 3,501 people.

Federal law enforcement sources say the National Security Letters are being used to obtain phone records of reporters at ABC News and elsewhere in an attempt to learn confidential sources who may have provided classified information in violation of the law.

The FBI says its request for reporters' phone records are made in compliance with the law."

My point: "The Good American's" such as PJF used this new found (illegal) power against the very people who created it? I can only pray they did.

I think Bush,Sr. was jealous of the Kennedys and his "Bush boys" never quite lived up to his dream. (He must not realize the fact, he didn't either.) Maybe he cut his losses since no one will want to elect Jeb and thinks he can retain power by getting Hillary in there since the right keeps pushing the idea. JMO.

SPB More on the FLINTSTONES--er GERBILS-- just bumped into something interesting.

Way back, weeks ago ,i mentioned Rove being fired by BUSH Sr-@1992---BUT BUSH Sr also fired him in 1980.ABOVE THE LAW??

If Karl goes he will be 3 for 3--

I guess he never learned.ALSO he went to 4 different colleges--

In addition to the University of Utah and the University of Maryland, Rove attended George Mason University (1973-1975) and the University of Texas at Austin (1977+). He has no degree. In July 1999, the Washington Post quoted Rove as saying "I lack at this point one math class, which I can take by exam, and my foreign language requirement."

From 1981-1999, Rove taught graduate students part-time at the University of Texas at Austin, as an instructor at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and in the Department of Journalism.

Daddy Bush had him fired for slamming/Planting a story thru NOVAK on one of their own

Daddy Bush seems to be closer to Clinton lately.

1977, Rove was the FIRST

person hired by George H. W. Bush for his official (and unsuccessful) 1980 presidential campaign, which ended with Bush being selected as the Vice Presidential nominee by Ronald Reagan in the summer of 1980. Rove was FIRED for LEAKING information to the press however, mid-campaign. In November 1980, Bush was elected Vice President.....THEN 1992--1992 George H. W. Bush presidential campaign
"Sources close to the former president George H.W. Bush say Rove was fired from the 1992 Bush presidential campaign after he PLANTED a negative story with columnist Robert Novak about dissatisfaction with campaign fundraising chief and Bush loyalist Robert Mosbacher Jr. It was smoked out, and he was summarily ousted"

I know I not really supposed to vent here without fact and links but... I'm so mad. I have been asked to undo my belt buckle and the top button of my pants at the airport. I was told if I was against the war I was against America. "This is a post 911 world now". And, I'll admit it... I was scared too. Scared that I was the only one of few that felt a black slug eating away at my soul. I have found out that reporters I want to be on watch out for me have been tripped up and did not know why, until now. I have feared my son would be sent to a war I did not understand. Yet, our southern boarder has been overlooked, ignored until YESTERDAY! What did they want to keep coming across the boarder but not threw JFK? What the heck?

I was no fan of 41. He was the head of the CIA during the investigation [Warren report] on the assassination of JFK.

He also had the files re-sealed that were to be released to the public during his tenure in the Oval.

...MacBeth -- .."the lady professes too much' .. or something close thereof..

it just stinks.

So, that 43,

while he may digress on an issue here or there, he hired many many many of daddy's friends ... many of daddy's friends will benefit most enormously from the policies the newest 'unpolicy' maker is

If he had his own security, I did not see anyone.

If the government will not pay for additional security, then I know how to mooch money from people for fundraising. But one of these nice law folks needs to tell me how to arrange for donations for a security detail legally because he is a federal employee.

Night Owl,

It is much more than the Katrina issue in which Daddy Gerbil is attached to the hip with Clinton. Since Clinton is so popular and respected by world leaders and prominent leaders and business people, Daddy Gerbil wants to be on the good side of the Clinton.. The Gerbil may be the son of Daddy Bush but when it comes to money, Daddy will turn on the Gerbil even though that is his son. The world around the Bush family is money and power! Interesting you mention Bill Cosby. I always enjoyed Cosby especailly many of his shows and acts. I remember that he told his son, Theo, on the T.V. show, The Cosby Show: "I brought you into the world and I can take you out!"

Bush: U.S. Not Listening to Domestic Calls

WASHINGTON -

President Bush insisted Tuesday that the United States does not listen in on domestic telephone conversations among ordinary Americans. But he declined to specifically discuss the government's alleged compiling of phone records, or whether it would amount to an invasion of privacy.

"We do not listen to domestic phone calls without court approval," Bush said in an East Room news conference with Australian Prime Minister John Howard.

This is from memory: Judge Lefkow put Matt Hale away in prison, a neo-Nazi type of person but I cannot remember what he did in the first place. The FBI then nailed him on trying to hire someone to kill her as revenge. Hale will not be coming out of jail anytime soon. What happened, though was totally unexpected. There was a man who had medical treatment which left his face deformed. He tried to sue the doc but the judge ruled against him. It seems he 'lost his marbles' and killed her family as revenge. I think nobody saw that one coming and Hale's dirty work was first suspected.

Fitz prosecuted some of the biggest mafia people, but it's the unexpected that bugs me. People bent on revenge often do the most evil of actions. A crazy person should not have been able to get in Lefkow's house.

well, that little thing called the monopoly bust of Ma Bell left the then regional carriers without the 'long-distance' records.

BellSouth, SBC, Nynex [now Verizon], would have only had 'local'/in-state call records..

MCI
Sprint
and GTE Cellular which is now: Verizon.

Yes, I agree that a lot of celebrities have security for showboating and not just safety.. When they become washouts, the security is gone.. But, Fitz will be fine. I think that after Fitz prosecuted the mefia and Gotti, there is security in place for him.. As far as the Gerbil, you know there has been alot of death the=reats and suspicious packages of threats sent to him. He downplays it but people wants him gone and I don't mean the international people.. He better be careful. One of the maids can slip something his nightly booze bottle that he yearns at night.. That would be a bummer...

Nightowl,

Yes, multi-billion lawsuits are stronger thsn the Gerbil's booze bottle. I think this will be the largest lawsuits in the U.S. I remember seeingtbe movie and reading on Erin Brockovich's taking down of PG&E. The residents in Hinkley, CA won a class action lawsuit of 338 million. But, this lawsuit of these carriers will put a huge dent in the national debt along with other debts that we have in this country.

Kathleen: The Gerbil?? Mother son: yes! Father's son: No!!! There is a lot of rift between Daddy and the Gerbil. Daddy tried to mold the Gerbil into what he expected and the Gerbil failed to live up to those standard.. In one of Doug Wead's books, he explains a lot the Gerbil's need to live up to his father expectations and yearning for the bottle.. Pretty sad case...

I don't think Poppy ever had much faith in GerbJr. Besides, Poppt was off in his own world.

Now had the Cheney's the Bush Banker money, we'd have Junior Darth Cheney on the throne right now.

It probably would have made little difference. Arrogant swagger is arrogant swagger, but whoda been her wife?

I wonder about Laura Bush...I just don't think Laura is as innocent as she appears to come off, when you are an enabler--there is still something deep inside of you that will fight for good vs. evil.

She is quick to come out and defend her man, campaign for him still against his perceived enemies and tell quite the fibs when it suits her. Laura may be the greatest fraud of all the Bushes.

Don't be too sure about Laura being a kind and innocent wife to the Gerbil.. There is alot more to Laura that meets the eye.. Especially when she accidently killed her boyfriend some years ago.. They certainly paid certain people hush money to silence them from any scandals for of the Bushes....

Security and Freedom are inversely proportional. Security = 1/Freedom

How much “protection”(security) does Bush need? Two people? Three people?
How many people are working to insure his safety? Two people? Three people?

An outlandish, outrageous, absurd assumption would be 100,000 people, right?

Hmm, let’s do the mathematics. We have 2 units of security = ½ unit of freedom.
Or we have 100,000 units of security = 1/100,000th unit of freedom.
There are many possible generalizations of this derivative.
Expressed another way, there are many corollaries to this.

The only security PJF needs is a sassy lady. We do not worry about his security.
We trust him. We trust him with America. He’s not even daunted about this.
He loves what he doing. We all love for what he stands for. (Even evildoers?!?!)
And when he takes on a sassy lady, (for security of course!), his mathematics will look good:
1 = 1Security= 1/1 =1Freedom ; Security=Freedom

Worry is a sign of mistrust.
We worry about Bush because we can not trust him.
He has lots of security...protection. He is far remove from that, for which we all stand for:
Freedom. His mathematics looks terrible.
100,000Security = 1/100,000th Freedom

When I see Bush, on the street, his tin cup in his hand, I will have two thoughts:
One thought will be a question and the other thought will be an answer:
Did he deserve this? Yes.
And we will walk by...
